Anyone else with a super faint BFP showing a due date for June 2016?

Got a barely there, second line on Sunday but has taken me this long (and 6 more tests Blush ) to accept that I am finally pregnant again after my mmc in April. Sooooooo excited. Anyone else on the preggers boat with me? :)

Hi Rose2806! I'm planning to pop by the community midwife clinic to self refer sometime next week when I'll be 6 weeks. I've got a scan booked at 7 weeks so I was hoping I'd have a much better idea of if things were going well by my booking in appt then.

nehagarg · 10/10/2015 12:49

Oooh. This thread is growing at the speed of light. Welcome everyone new and congrats on your bfps. Smile

Such a comfort that everyone's symptoms are variable. I havent felt anything so far today. Even boobs are feeling normal, though bigger.

Anyone developed the super sensitive sniffing powers yet? My nose was super sensitive last time. Not sure if I have it yet this time.

I have booked in the doctors for Tuesday so thinking I'll then get sent for a flu jab. I haven't had many symptoms just mild low muscle type aches in my stomach which scared me but seems to have stopped today, boobs slightly sore and felt slightly queezy earlier for first time xx

obsessedlex · 10/10/2015 12:52

bellboo my dd will be 7 and my oh's stepson from a previous relationship will be 16 - not sure how to tell my dd. She'll be so excited but I think we'll wait until 12 week scan.
Does anyone have any idea how they are telling their other children?

MadrigalElectromotive · 10/10/2015 13:08

Neha yes me! I walked through a cafe the other day and it was like an assault on my nostrils! Super-smelling combined with nausea is not a happy combination...

MadMadamMim123 · 10/10/2015 13:10

Hi everyone been lurking for a while and finally got brave enough to post! I'm due on 2nd June and this is baby #3 for me. I've got two boys from my first marriage aged nearly 8 and 10. This baby is much wanted but so far I'm feeling awful. The bloating and dry retching plus the exhaustion... Roll on 12 weeks!!!

tigress23 · 10/10/2015 13:13

Welcome MadMadamMim (great name!) and BelleBoo and congratulations!

Rose2806 · 10/10/2015 13:32

No changes in smell yet!

Mrsmugoo were you offered a 7 week scan or did you have to request it? I thought most places wouldn't do it until 12 weeks?

AmIseeingRight · 10/10/2015 13:35

welcome and congratulations to the bfp Flowers ladies

mrsmugoo · 10/10/2015 13:38

I'm having it privately because I've seen a private fertility clinic to help with a short luteal phase. It was my first month of progesterone pessaries when I got my BFP. The doctor likes to scan his patients at 7 weeks.

Osirus · 10/10/2015 15:10

Can I join you all please? I got my very first BFP yesterday after trying since 2010. I have just been through our first round of IVF and I can't believe it worked! I cried on the phone when the nurse called to tell me. It hasn't sunk in at all yet. I can't remember what she said on the phone but the only bits I can recall were "good news", "GP" and "continue with the crinone " (progesterone support). She also said they would send a letter as she knew I wouldn't take any of it in!

I'm really excited but cautiously so. I am terrified it's going to go away again. I have sore boobs and a little occasional cramping and a little tiredness. And I couldn't sleep last night at all!

I'm 33 and I think my EDD is 15th June. I have an early scan booked but I can't remember when! I had to have two embryos transferred so I'm a little nervous there might be two.

tigress23 · 10/10/2015 15:45

Welcome, Osirus, and congratulations! I'm very happy for you Smile

Belleboo23 · 10/10/2015 16:24

Aw congratulations osirus!!
Obsessedlex I was wondering the same not sure how to tell the kids will probably get a grunt off my 12 year old ds I think dd will be excited and can see her being a big help to me! If I start throwing up everyday they will wonder what's going on. Was thinking is it a good idea to involve them in the scans maybe let them find out that way? Not sure I can hold it in that long though!! I took my eldest when we found out we were having a girl and he sulked because he wanted a brother! Grin xx

EmilyBStarr · 10/10/2015 16:25

Feeling very anxious now- got two bfps on first response on Wed and Thurs - which were 11 and 12 dpo. Have just taken an Internet cheapie test and bfn! Hope this doesn't mean it's already gone.
But still nauseous and sore boobs, and no sign of AF so not sure what to think!

tigress23 · 10/10/2015 16:36

EmilyB perhaps the ICs are just not as sensitive and your hormone levels aren't high enough for them yet. I'd wait a few days and try again

AmIseeingRight · 10/10/2015 16:46

osirus congratulation Smile fx for all the best and a very happy healthy baby at the end of this journey

Kajamite · 10/10/2015 16:51

EmilyB I had exactly the same

I took another test a couple of days later like everyone says and everything was all fine Smile what a fright that was though!

BiffleRoo · 10/10/2015 17:14

I did 1xCB and 1xIC on 10 dpo and got bfp on CB and bfn on IC, same again on 11dpo. Thought I'd have more chance with the IC as they said they were 10mpu but CB were clear bfns so don't worry emily

Belvedere · 10/10/2015 18:01

I'm not going to the doctors either. Last time I self referred to the midwifes at 6 weeks and this time I'll do the same.
Mrsmugoo which is your local clinic? I'm at granby in BS3

EmilyBStarr · 10/10/2015 18:30

Thanks guys- I need to calm down I know. Will try to resist popping out for another frer. They are so expensive apart from anything.

mrsmugoo · 10/10/2015 18:35

Belvedere It's Hampton House at the top of Cotham hill.

Osirus · 10/10/2015 21:19

Thank you for the congratulations. I've not told anyone else other than DP (but then I didn't actually tell him he was hovering behind me when I was on the phone and knew from my reaction that we had got lucky this time) and a friend from work. I only told her as she was telling me about her IVF treatment and then asked if I wanted children, so it just came out! Her situation is a bit different to mine as she had her ovaries removed due to cancer when she was in her early 20s. She has frozen eggs and has had one cycle in July which sadly failed. I felt a bit unsure about telling her yesterday, but she has been supportive and I promised I would let her know. I hope it works for her too in the end.

I've been weeing a lot today and I'm testing my boobs regularly for tenderness! I must be mad!

Torfhinn · 10/10/2015 21:27

Welcome to everyone new and congratulations on your bfp's!

My right sided abdo pain hasn't gone away so saw out of hours doctor today. He is hopeful it's not ectopic but in to have a scan early next week to check everything is where it should be. Add to that DS has been a monster in a toddler disguise today, it's been a very stressful day. Hope everyone is having a better weekend!

ToInfinity · 10/10/2015 21:42

Emily I was exactly the same, BFP on CB on Sunday. Retested with IC on Thursday, barely anything. Another IC on Fri (FMU) and v faint line. Retested today with another CB (not that I'm spending a fortune on tests!) and got a BFP.
Think those IC are cheap for a reason!!

ToInfinity · 10/10/2015 21:44

MrsMugoo and Belvedere - I'm in Bristol too!

We,re gonna be keeping them busy in June!
