Anyone else with a super faint BFP showing a due date for June 2016?

Got a barely there, second line on Sunday but has taken me this long (and 6 more tests Blush ) to accept that I am finally pregnant again after my mmc in April. Sooooooo excited. Anyone else on the preggers boat with me? :)

Belkins I'm so sorry things are not looking great but hopefully it will work out Flowers

JellyBaby26 · 06/10/2015 09:41

So sorry Belkins. I hope you are wrong. 8 miscarriages sounds so unfair and like torture. Look after yourself Flowers, Wine & Cake

LondonGirl83 · 06/10/2015 09:48

jelly I remember you from TTC! It's nice to have someone at the exact same stage of things. Fingers crossed for both of us Grin

tigress23 · 06/10/2015 09:52

I'm sorry, belkins, I hope it isn't what you think and that you can come back to join us xx

MadrigalElectromotive · 06/10/2015 11:01

belkins I'm so sorry. Flowers

Do come back if you need some support.

Pamplem0use · 06/10/2015 12:15

Hi,
Just marking my place. Sorry to hear about what sounds like a horrible struggle Belkins. It probably seems like very little consolation right now but my SIL had a similar number of miscarriages and is now mother to nine month old twins.

Pamplem0use · 06/10/2015 12:16

Could someone please add me to the list when they get a moment?
I'm pregnant with baby number 3, due 14th June.

obsessedlex · 06/10/2015 12:32

I'm so sorry Belkins
Look after yourself xx

So, has everyone else already spoken to their GP? This is my first baby and oddly enough my GP won’t see me and directly gave me the number of a midwife service who I had to leave a message with. I’m not sure what is supposed to happen next and it all appears to be moving rather slowly. I self-referred to St Thomas as I’m within catchment so hopefully that will help.

For any of you second (or 3rd) time mums, it would be great to hear what’s normal! Also, if any of you have given birth at St Thomas it would be great to hear your experiences as I also have the choice of Kings.

Hi London! With my DD, I went to the DR the morning I found out because I was so excited. She got me to fill in a form for the midwife and then the midwife got in contact with me and arranged to visit me a few days later.
I plan to book a Dr appt as soon as I remember, because I am already being sick and need some pills!!

lemonslemonslemons · 06/10/2015 12:50

Has anyone else experienced stabbing pains to the left or right of the lower abdomen, just in from the hip bones? It feels like a stitch but passes quickly. I had it at the weekend and one yesterday. Googled and looks like it could be round ligament pain already.

nehagarg · 06/10/2015 12:50

Hey London .. In my case the GP told me that there is nothing for them to do and to go away and self-refer at the hospital I want to give birth in, so I did ... A couple of weeks later, I have now received booking in and scan dates from the midwife. First time I see the midwife, I'll be 10 weeks.

MadrigalElectromotive · 06/10/2015 12:51

Everywhere seems to do it differently London - I rang my GP surgery and asked the receptionist what to do, and she just organised my booking-in appointment for me there and then.

My friend in a different county had to go and see a GP for "confirmation of pregnancy" before she could see the midwives, but the GP didn't do a pg test or any blood tests or anything. Confused

I think it should be the same everywhere - it is a confusing enough time without all of this added complication! Grin

nehagarg · 06/10/2015 12:52

Lemons .. I have had a constant ache on the right side of my lower abdomen all day today. Its not too bad but definitely noticeable. Not sure if its the same thing as you as mine isn't fading.

londonGirl83 my cousin has a baby girl @ st thomas in May this year, she said they were excellent and probably saved her & the baby. She did not have much confidence in the our local hospital but she worked close to st Thomas and luckily was able to transfer there. I've only read great things about st Thomas and their units.

I saw my GP last week and also been in touch with midwife, got my appointment and so far I've had a good experience with everyone I've spoken or seen. (I even spoke to my EPAU and they were also very good and reassuring) so I will be sticking with our local midwife centre fx.

So sleep is getting better and so are the trips to the toilets but yesterday my breasts were very sore and sensitive. The cramps/pressure have mainly stopped and I now I just get minor pressure some nights, did make me worry, but I figured I will just wait until my 8 weeks booking in, since breasts are still sore & seem to be growing.

I'm 5w+5 and sometimes feel a bit nauseous but nothing major, so now I'm waiting for morning sickness to start just for the reassurance that it's all going ok.

cheshirem2b · 06/10/2015 13:13

I'm booked in for a GP apt for extra folic acid on Friday and then got my mw apt on 23rd October. It is a bit real now and quite scary!
Londongirl my GP won't see you just to say your pg and they refer straight to the mw too. All fine.
I think my due date is 1st June so you can add that to the list please? Baby #2! Eek!

Here are my stats for the list if that's okay, I forgot that bit!

PrincessPunzie #1 due 8th June 2016

Very sorry to read Belkins news Flowers

GP appointment tomorrow, I assume it's just a formality and not much will happen. I don't believe they actually confirm pregnancies any more as the home tests are so accurate? At least that's what mummy friends have told me. Looking forward to bombarding them with questions about my exercise routine though. They'll be delighted Wink

Am 4w+6 (five tomorrow, apparently baby will be the size of a sesame seed rather than a poppy seed by then, woop!) - only symptoms so far are boobs that feel like water balloons and excessively perky nipples. My husband thinks it's brilliant - boobs like an 18-year old (I'm 35!)

nehagarg · 06/10/2015 13:21

hahahaha ... I am the same Princess .. Nipples are so big now that they are visible through 3 layers of clothing Blush

You can add yourself too .. Just copy paste your details in, in the chronological order. Smile

I'm having a very wobbly day today - feeling quite emotional and anxious about everything. I know it's just normal but I keep thinking that I've never had a loss and so this time round surely I wouldn't be so lucky? Something my SIL said to me ages ago was that basically I should expect a loss at some point in my life, because she has had 2 and I went on to have a healthy baby with no loss first time which she thought was so lucky.

I know mc is very common but she almost made it sound like it's inevitable that everyone will have at least one.

Jesus time is going slowly...

nehagarg · 06/10/2015 13:32

Not necessarily mrsmugoo ... Last time I had a mc, my mum had no clue what was going on. She had had 2 kids with no losses. Unfortunately first trimester really is rubbish! The wait is the worst thing in the world. Sad

OP posts:
PrincessPunzie · 06/10/2015 13:33

Thanks for that nehagarg - glad I'm not the only one with indecent nips! After an uncomfortable spin class this morning I think new sports bras will be on the shopping list soon!

mrsmugoo I hear you about time going slowly. I hope it speeds up! I was bricking it the first few days, then I started to feel excited, but I always feel the need to rein any excitement in just in case. Could be a difficult emotional juggling act over the next few months. I actually know very few mums who have suffered mcs though, so I don't think it's inevitable at all x

jbiscuits · 06/10/2015 13:34

So sorry belkins Flowers
