Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
harktheheraldheidlesings · 05/12/2006 20:06

thanks for letting us all in on your fab news treacle, it's great to hear! I know when I had an ERPC I was kind of worried that it would all still work okay after, but you've obviously proved everything is in working order iykwim.

CaptainDippyClausWithABump · 05/12/2006 20:06

Oppps!!

AndAKaty44InAPearTree · 05/12/2006 20:08

Hi everyone,

bubblez, sorry to hear about your panic attack - how frightening! Have you had them before?
Weeonion, I didn't realise you hadn't felt kicks either, thought I was the last! Am fine with it, logically I know it's early but am just
harktheheraldheidlesings I love all of your names - very traditional! Harriet is nice - very unusual at the moment I assume?
Our choices are Willow for a girl and Tristan for a boy - please let me know what you think but be nice if you can as we're 90% sure of those!!

CaptainDippyClausWithABump · 05/12/2006 20:13

Hi Katy - Willow is v.sweet and I've never met a Tristan - unusual, always good!!

DecaTheHalls · 05/12/2006 20:17

hi there

congrats treacle. I wasn't around in oct, but it's lovely to hear your good news! You must be really pleased.

Katy, Willow is such a beautiful name! Vv unusual.

Heidi - love Harriet. So cute!

SSK - Jack is currently dh's favourite! His grandad Jack was one of the dambusters in WW2.

AndAKaty44InAPearTree · 05/12/2006 20:23

Ooh didn't read that post, sorry SSK!
I love Jack for a boy, but wouldn't be allowed it as it's a family name, and then it would seem as though we were naming him after someone.

AngeGabriel · 05/12/2006 20:26

Treacle that's wonderful news. So pleased for you.

Katy - Willow is very pretty. My friend has a tristan - he's a typical boy but sweet with it.

Bubblez - Panic attacks are so frightening aren't they. I suffered with them for a while after a car accident. Hope you're ok.

You all have some lovely choices for names. DS is Jake William and I was absolutely certain about it from before I was pg almost.
This time I quite liked Toby, til I found out SDs had a tortoise called Toby, that's put me off. I really like Isabelle, shortened to Izzy but DH doesn't like it. He likes Freddie for a boy, but I'm not sure about it at all. What a nighmare.
I don't want to be like my friend who had to get an extension from the registry office and didn't name her baby til she was nearly 3 months old

CD - I really like your names.I want Elisabeth as a middle name if it's a girl with an s like you not a z.

Nuttygirl - pmsl at your bodyshop conversation.

AngeGabriel · 05/12/2006 20:43

What a F*ing nightmare! DH just asked me to make him a coffee, which being a duitiful wife I did. Tried to put the lid back on the coffee jar and tipped half of it all over the kitchen side.

Then to top it off went into cupboard to get a plate and 3 bowls fell out and smashed all over the floor. I really want to scream. AHHHHHHHHH. That feels a bit better.

Sorry to bore you all with that.

Hollyhormone · 05/12/2006 20:47

Hello All

Room for another new one? I don't know anyone else who is pg at the moment so feeling a bit lonely. Found this thread and it has really cheered me up!

AngeGabriel · 05/12/2006 20:50

Hi there hollyhormone. Welcome. We're a pretty friendly bunch here. When are you due?

Hollyhormone · 05/12/2006 20:52

Hello AngeGabriel

Due on 23rd April so past the halfway mark - yeah!
When are you due?

weewishyouamerryonion · 05/12/2006 20:55

hey hollyhormone - welcome
hope you are doing ok so far - over half way through indeed! do you know what you are having yet - we are keeping a tally of pink / blue!!

Hollyhormone · 05/12/2006 20:58

Hello wewishyouamerryonion

Love all the festive names! Found out today that bean is blue

weewishyouamerryonion · 05/12/2006 20:59

liathoho - good luck for tomorrow. hope it is ok {{hug}}

runnyhabbitdashingthruthesnow · 05/12/2006 21:01

Hello everyone

Welcome hollyhormone - the more the merrier

Really need some inspiration for girls names. Decided on William Luke if its a blue one. Loving the name Phoebe CD. Weird thing is, we know what a girls middle name will be (Kate) but can't really have it as first name, because my sisters name is Katie. Quite like Ruby, Lola or Alice, but dh is not fussed. Nevermind, he hated ds' name when he first heard it I quite like my own name, but that would just be plain silly

AngeG - don't you just hate it when that happens! I usually blame it on dh, cos if he hadn't asked in the first place, it wouldn't have happened.

Congratulations Treacle

Pmsl Nuttygirl at Bodyshop

Really missing the net at work - means I have loads of mn to catch up on at home!

Cream seems to be working already for thrush - thank God!

Take care all - have to go now and sort out dh stuff because he's working away for the next 2 nights

Take care all

x

22 today

DecaTheHalls · 05/12/2006 21:01

Welcome Holly! I don't know any other preg people either and this group is a LIFELINE!! Hope you find it helpful! And congrats on the scan today!

AG - i'm really clumsy too! dh keeps warning me to be careful. i think it's only a matter of time before I smash something!

AngeGabriel · 05/12/2006 21:03

Hollyhormone - that my Grandpa's birthday. It's so nice to reach the half way stage. I'm due 8th April. We've got a stats thread that you can add your details to. April Stats

As Wewishyouamerryonion said we are keeping a tally of pinks and blues although quite a lot of us including me are not finding out.

Where abouts do you live?

Hollyhormone · 05/12/2006 21:07

I live in sunny Wiltshire, well raining at the moment! It is great to reach the halfway stage. I did not want to know what bean was but dh couldn't help himself - bless. He was too excited and hasn't stopped grinning since.
Thankyou all for the welcome and making me feel sane again

AndAKaty44InAPearTree · 05/12/2006 21:11

AngeG, I have moments like that! I gind it's best to sit down until the clumsiness bug passes!
Welcome Hollyhormone and congratulations - I'm due on the 23rd as well! Race you?
runnyhabit, I like your names choices (Kate is a very nice name - I really like Alice) but I think it would be unfair to name a child after you - with a name like 'runnyhabit' they're bound to get teased

AndAKaty44InAPearTree · 05/12/2006 21:12

Normally when you sit down the typing gremlin takes over
Hollyhormone, is that a Christmas name or is your name really holly?

AngeGabriel · 05/12/2006 21:13

sorry x posts with loads of you there. Hollyhormone - fantastic a blue one - congratulations. We must be nearly about even now.

Decathehalls - that's the thing I never smash things normally - I hate being clumsy

Runny - I have to admit I did yell at DH
Love the name William Luke. It's lovely! I find girls names really hard did last time as well. We had Sophie Elisabeth but I was never totally sure about it.
Glad the cream is working

Hollyhormone · 05/12/2006 21:16

Race for the 23rd Arf Arf Katy44, I liked that!
DH has just walked past with some tea and mince pies so I am off for now, night all.

Hollyhormone · 05/12/2006 21:20

Holly is just christmas name, my real name is far worse! Mince pies are calling me now. Have a nice evening all.

GoodKingWestCountryLass · 05/12/2006 21:36

I can't keep up, you lot have been busy today

EllieK · 05/12/2006 22:46

hi all
on the names front, i have a Matthew Philip James, Philip was a family name on my side, James a family name on his dad's side, different DP this time so no family names to use! didn't have a name picked and didn't know if blue or pink last time but matthew just fitted. Having a nightmare again this time, quite like Sam but a guy I work with is a Sam and he's 24 going on 12! Have a difficult to spell surname so want something traditional to fit with Matthew and to be easy to spell!
ideas?
