doghouse · 04/12/2006 15:08

Hi everyone
Soooo pleased to MIAM back - think we were all getting seriously worried. Hope you feel better very soon GMM.
Had a lovely weekend with a friend to stay. She has two children and just enjoyed having some time away from them and I enjoyed having a good ol' catch up!
Nice to see everyone get so festive ... am off to think of my new name now!

we1becomes3kings · 04/12/2006 15:23

I know I know I have changed my name again, just didn't think I had tried hard enough with the other one.

Yes I know I'm NUTS

doginsantasgrotto · 04/12/2006 15:25

weewishyouamerryonion · 04/12/2006 15:59

geordiemacmincepie · 04/12/2006 16:03

never mind laughing at our names missy - what name have you decided on for the little girl type onion???

eca · 04/12/2006 16:40

evening everyone! well our thread is overflowing with festive cheer isn't it???

Sorry to hear about all the bugs/illness floating round.

Urinary incontinence...mmm bugmum, I've had plenty of that and I'm a first-timer!! Does that mean it'll be even worse next time??? It all started coz I was being so violently sick! Sorry, tmi!

Loving the festive name. Might have to try and make the very unfestive eca more seasonal!

Sexonreindeerlegs · 04/12/2006 16:42

Hi loves. Runny, hope the mw appointment went ok.
Loving these names btw.

I have had real discomfort all day in my lower left abdomen - feels like something is stuck there. Doesn't seem to be a bowel or bladder issue (sorry if tmi), but really uncomfortable. Feel like doing a head stand and seeing if anything shifts!

How is everyone else.

rofl at the leaking norks - that word just creases me up.

See you later

weewishyouamerryonion · 04/12/2006 16:42

eca - what about decathehallswithboughsofholly? hmm - maybe not - bit too long??????

eca · 04/12/2006 16:43

baby names - Gabriel is LOVELY and so is Alex.

Tonight dh suggested Persephone, but not sure the story of her (greek godess who gets kidnapped by god of the underworld/death and forced to live with him 3month of the year!) is all that nice!! Back to the drawing board...

Sexonreindeerlegs · 04/12/2006 16:44

eca. what about ecarols??

eca · 04/12/2006 16:45

eca · 04/12/2006 16:46

EmmymummyChristmasPudTummy · 04/12/2006 17:47

Hello all, just checking if this has worked.....

EmmymummyChristmasPudTummy · 04/12/2006 17:57

Aha, good!

Had a fab weekend away in Bath - 2 nights in the poshest hotel I've ever stayed in. Felt completely & totally indulged and came home very chilled out. Can thoroughly recommend getting away for a few days (without the kids) before you get too huge / tired to appreciate it.

CFK - didn't make it to the Firehouse or any of the other restaurants you mentioned - Bath was absolutely heaving at the weekend and we couldn't even find anywhere to have lunch that had seats (ended up with a sarnie from Waitrose, sitting on the steps of the church opposite wolfing down our lunch before diving back into the crowds). So we had dinner at our hotel in the evening, and that was fab & very intimate and dh & I put the world to rights for several hours!

Made me giggle about your comments about vibrators - hotel had an 'adult drawer' as part of the mini-bar (snigger), so there were some interesting items in there. That makes it sound like we were staying in a brothel!
