tiny good luck for the scan today

lily at least you are able to see that the unhappiness is related to your job, and not just the way life is. Perhaps you could try to look forward to maternity leave and no longer having to worry about the job for a few months (that's what I'm doing).

Morning All!

MissS grab yourself some peas! lol! migraines are generally caused by expansion of the blood vessels and the heat on the feet draws the blood away from the head and the peas dool the bloos vessels in the head and neck.

I also know what you mean with food.... i'm hungry but i don't know what i want to eat at any point. I was eating my favourite home made fried rice last night and felt sick halfway through!

BeeMyBaby · 19/08/2015 08:43

SleepyDragon · 19/08/2015 09:20

CubanoHabana · 19/08/2015 09:56

I know one of the people who was swatted, so scary for her and get family. Police heavily involved with it.

MissSMartin · 19/08/2015 09:58

cubano was she a hacker?

melonface · 19/08/2015 10:08

Morning ladies. I changed my password last night but it's pretty horrible! what harm does mumsnet do!
I really want to thank you for your lovely messages last night, meant a lot. I've called to get an appointment with a midwife today, mine is on holiday and was told there are free slots this afternoon but 'we've already told the midwife who is covering that she can go home at 3.30' Thanks very much! Waiting for a call back and was told "If she doesn't ring this morning it'll be this afternoon.....' Again, thanks!

brickiemum2 · 19/08/2015 10:19

I can't myself I the list but I did need to reset my password last night. What a tosser. Wonder why he's so pissed off at mn and it's founders?

SleepyDragon · 19/08/2015 10:30

Don't worry MissS thanks for trying. I've just looked at 4 pages and the scroll bar isn't even a quarter of the way down there must be thousands of us! I think i will change it again to be on the safe side!!

brickiemum2 · 19/08/2015 10:32

sleepy I saw you on it Sad

lilyb84 · 19/08/2015 10:46

How totally shit - sorry to those of you who were on the list, I hope it doesn't affect too many of your other log ins elsewhere Sad

I hope you get to see your mw melon and that you're holding up okay today.

Thanks for the kind words too, I'm feeling a bit more positive today and just heard the baby's hb at my mw appt Smile

Is anyone else getting cramp ALL THE TIME? It was the one symptom I was actually aware of and expecting but jeeeesus it hurts. Woke in the early hours this morning with cramp in one calf... and then half an hour later in the other one. Now feels like I've run a marathon and pulled all my muscles!

tinyme135 · 19/08/2015 11:04

I can't seem to find the list with the accounts that have been hacked.

Scan went great. We have a little mover in there and I'm team.......Blue :)

lilyb84 · 19/08/2015 11:06

Oh congrats tiny! Did you guess right? Smile

There's a link to the list a few posts ago, can't remember who posted it...

lilyb84 · 19/08/2015 11:06

Oh it was bee at 8.43 if that helps...

tinyme135 · 19/08/2015 11:11

I always thought it would be a boy as it runs in both families :)

tinyme135 · 19/08/2015 11:13

omg there's loads. I need to have a proper look later on when I can keep my eyes open.

what everyone doing today?

brickiemum2 · 19/08/2015 11:23

I'm contemplating car seats at the minute. Was so much simpler 6 years ago with my last child.
So......how many of you are going for stage 0+ seats to start off with so that they can be lifted in and out of the car? I would assume it's the most popular option. BUT it leaves you with the problem of what to do next. If baby outgrows it by 15 months you'll need to replace it with something else that can rear face.
An alternative is to go with a combination 0+/1/2 or isize seat from the off. Many can rf until well beyond 15m, often up to 4y. BUT they stay permanently in the car so baby needs to be lifted in and out of the seat each time.
I can't decide. I'm not one for using a car seat attached to a pram chassis anyway but with an infant carrier you can get them fed and strapped in in the warmth of the house then (if using an isofix base) it takes seconds to install in the car.

What are everyone else's thoughts?

lutrinae · 19/08/2015 12:16

Argh! I've been really busy lately and have clearly got way behind. Will have a good catch up later when DS is in bed.

How is everyone? What have I missed?

SleepyDragon · 19/08/2015 12:49

Ok, have now changed my password again just to be on the safeside.... although i think i've forgotten it already LOL.

i feel crap today, i'm aching all over, my nose is still sore and my breathing stuffy, i just want to go home and crawl back into bed. i have someone hotdesking in my office who keeps chatting away and i just want to tell them to shut up and leave me alone... i'm not in a sociable mood (you ladies are different!)

Oh lovely news Tiny, congrats!! Lovely clear pic too!
