Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 34th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 34th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

CONGRATULATIONS LA!!!!!!

Time to crack open the champagne!!! You must be absolutely relieved - I hope that you can get some very bloody well deserved rest.

By the way, is anyone else loving this cold snap? After the freakish heatwave of doom, it's so lovely. I don't manage well in the sun as it is, so not a big sun baby. Plus the food in cold weather is infinitely better.

Example: This morning's breakfast is lovely porridge with raisins, blueberries and honey. It's like heaven in a bowl.

lildottie · 28/07/2015 08:09

congrats la! Thanks

pretzelpieces · 28/07/2015 08:14

Yes gouda! I keep failing to dress for the weather though and shivering at the bus stop Grin but much prefer it to the heat.

Good luck today would

la can't wait to see a pic of your little fella. Well done on doing a baby! Grin

CarrotPuff · 28/07/2015 08:20

WouldRatherHaveCake · 28/07/2015 08:21

Yay La!!!! Go you! Hope your foof isn't too battered. Can't wait for the update Star

Thanks all, it's it 11.30 thursday

gaggiagirl · 28/07/2015 08:23

deeply is your consultant setting you off early or just letting you go to term now babies growth is normal?
Lots of appointments for us viroids again today.

Indigoblue2 · 28/07/2015 08:28

Aww congrats la - I kept not being able to sleep/having weird dreams about you because it must have been on my mind.

wil the Epi-No doesn't hurt, if it does you're doing it wrong! The whole principle is to stretch the perineum gradually and incrementally, rather than all at once (like in birth). It's the difference between learning to to the splits over several weeks by just a little more each day, or doing the splits in a oner. I can honestly say that it doesn't hurt, it stretches, but I can comfortably "birth" out a 9cm object without hurting my perineum right now, on track for 10! Smile

lildottie · 28/07/2015 08:39

indigo I just looked at stats sheet. how the fuck can you be next, you only got pg 5 minutes ago!

batfish · 28/07/2015 08:43

Amazing news la congratulations to you and Mr la and massive well done on the epic birth effort - these stories are all confirming my thoughts that I basically don't want a birth plan and will just see what happens! So happy that minila is finally here and can't wait for pics. Hope you are getting a good rest.

I have no idea about baby size etc - we get more scans than I've had hot dinners here but they don't actually give much info unless I specifically ask. I get weighed at every appt but they don't comment and they haven't measured my belly or anything. The last couple of scans the doc has said the estimated weight of the baby and has said it's perfect but hasn't talked about centiles or any of that. Guess he would say if there was anything unusual going on!

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 28/07/2015 08:44

Hmm The sister at the clinic was u-uhm unhelpful. Says I should go to the GP to check for UTI. No bleeding no cause for alarm she says which is likely true. My right lower back also hurts now in additional to my right lower front where it is stabby. Boo-oo-oo. I've made an emergency appointment with GP so will trot off later. :(
gouda whilst I do like the cold and snuggling and soup and pancakes, no. The longer the heat stays around the better. Sunshine makes me happy. Darkness makes me sad.

I've just looked at the epi-no for the first time! Shock
Good luck would! Gx all is okay. Flowers

deeplybaffled · 28/07/2015 08:44

Wow, la - you did it! Fantastic newsSmile
Looking forward to seeing pix soon.
ga - not sure. Hoping for normal due date but will see consultant this afternoon and should find out more then.
indigo - I can't have an early date till I've cracked the epi no!!!

batfish · 28/07/2015 08:45

lil you just made me look at stats sheet too and I'm bloody 5th! Fuck!

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 28/07/2015 08:48

bat my main birth plan was: Try to have a baby successfully. The "pre-birth plan" plan was: Waterbirth, Homebirth, if problem go to hospital. The End.

Indigoblue2 · 28/07/2015 08:49

lil I know!!!! Bring it on!

deeply that's why I started early 35 weeks

ZylaB · 28/07/2015 08:50

oneyorkshirepud · 28/07/2015 08:58
