Also farty here, and I don't even have progesterone bullets to blame.

MayFlowers16 · 13/07/2015 20:59

Is anybody going to try to guess their babies gender using the nub theory? I may be tempted to try it once I've got my scan pics.

Brummiegirl15 · 13/07/2015 21:12

I stop the bullets next week ( thank god ) I will probably find out then it's actually me and not the progesterone!!!

They are proper loud ones too Blush

The shame!!!!!!

Purdiepipesdown · 13/07/2015 21:13

Oh, well done May for taking action. How exciting is this! We have babies in our tum-tums Grin

Does anyone else feel so colossally grateful they could cry? Smile

Purdiepipesdown · 13/07/2015 21:16

May, I used the nub theory last year with Nancy. She was supposed to be a boy Hmm

Ah. Wait...actually it was skull theory we predicted the sex by. Have you heard of that? It was wrong anyway.

MayFlowers16 · 13/07/2015 21:18

Yes, Purdie excitement is definitely outweighing worry these days. Feeling blessed!

MayFlowers16 · 13/07/2015 21:19

Ooh I've never heard of skull theory. Will consult google.

Just dug out dd's 12 week scan pics - she's definitely a boy Hmm

Purdiepipesdown · 13/07/2015 21:23

What's nub theory, May? Summat to do with the genitals?

Brummiegirl15 · 13/07/2015 21:24

I feel all twingey and hate it.

Should've never done the hoovering Confused

fififolle · 13/07/2015 21:29

I think it probably is pregnancy as opposed to the progesterone Brummie but we shall have to wait and see! How many weeks will you be when you stop the cyclogest? Are you reducing the does or just stopping it?
Yes, I have that feeling Purdie, there were a few happy tears at my scan.
Hi Monk, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's been eating crap day Blush. I've just made a super healthy juice (and bollocked DH for eating a magnum first) but then panicked about the fresh turmeric root so I didn't drink it.

MayFlowers16 · 13/07/2015 21:30

Angle of the dangle Purdie

clumsypots · 13/07/2015 21:38

I need to stop eating the junk too, my pasty nearly chocked me to death today! I think it was trying to tell me something, that and the fact I split my trousers in the supermarket Blush

Rufus200 · 13/07/2015 21:38

Purdie it could have been worse, I could have put a pic of my face up, now that would have really put you off your dinner! Grin

Brummiegirl15 · 13/07/2015 21:51

Fifi I'm supposed to use tie cyclogest until 12 wks but I'm on 400mg twice a day and I know people have said it's made them feel a bit weepy when they've stopped, plus it can cause spotting if stopped too early.

So I'm 12 weeks next Wednesday so still got some 200mg left so will start easing down from 800 to 600 to 400 to 200

Plus I've got my consultant appt about my cervix on 3rd August when I'm 13+5 so may actually continue until then.

Unfortunately I'm on the clexane injections for the duration

goneswimming · 13/07/2015 21:59

Totally purdie, I cried at my scan today and I'm swinging between being ecstatic that we're lucky enough to be pregnant, and terrified that it'll go wrong. I'm in the lucky crew- pretty much no nausea, just scarfing down citrus fruit and grumpy as f*.

fififolle · 13/07/2015 22:01

Brummie that's the same rose that I'm on. My friend (who had cyclogest with IVF) warned me earlier that you feel rubbish when you come off it. Has it made you spotty? It has with me. The clexane is well worth it for your sticky bean- just a shame about the bruises.

birdbrain21 · 13/07/2015 22:01

Raviolig you aren't going for a scan this Friday are you we must come up with a mumsnet signal Wink. I had my booking in at royal and my scan there and then going to my community midwives for the other appointments. Haven't decided if I'm going to go to stand alone midwife at royal, I haf a similar option last time when I was in london but didn't go for it as was first time nerves. Royal is also more convenient for us to get to so dh wants to go there but I want to go have a look before I decide

fififolle · 13/07/2015 22:04

*dose

birdbrain21 · 13/07/2015 22:05

Also Brummie hate to disappoint you but I'm not taking any progesterone and definitely windy city here Blush I remember it happening with dd as well I think just one of the wonderful side effects of pg!

NoMontagues · 13/07/2015 22:14

I have hideous rosacea with bright pink spots all over my cheeks, I got a cream from the chemist but it did feck all.

I'm actually too lazy to properly look into getting rid of it, that's the reality. Getting showered and dressed every day feels like my limit right now. It's a good thing im working from home these days.

Hi fifi and congrats!

And charlotte yay! Smile

clumsy you do not need to stop eating junk, just stop inhaling it and you'll be ok! I hope you were able to get out of the supermarket with your dignity intact? Grin

clumsypots · 13/07/2015 22:34

Haha not so much, I am pretty sure the after schools club staff were wondering why I was holding my handbag over my ass when I went to fetch my DD!

Lovely pic charlotte

That is a really cute scan pic Charlotte. I still have 2 weeks to wait, getting impatient!

haquoi123 · 14/07/2015 04:31

Lovely scan pics charlotte and others! (going back quite a few pages here)

Risotto has replaced tuna and cashew nuts as the worst food to bring back up. I've burst blood veins in my face and above my eyes trying not to choke on the damn stuff. And up at 4am with yet another fucking nosebleed. Gah! Grumpy as fuck here, but... a mini bump is can be felt above my pelvis, so that tells me she's growing and makes me happy. And she because hey, she's a she at the mo :)

9+5 here, my god does the time go slowly.

brummie how're the twinges?

Northerner over here as well! waves although I think I'm a proper northerner Wink any other Cumbrians?

haquoi123 · 14/07/2015 04:42

And pog I'm with you
