I used to be a Cumbrian haquoi but am in Cheshire now. Whereabouts are you?

Ds2, 6, just timed throwing his teddy down the stairs, from behind me, perfectly with my foot about to hit the step that his teddy landed on resulting in me standing on it and slipping down the last 5-6 stairs. I'm fine though. It panicked him and made him cry and say sorry and he keeps asking me if I'm ok .

Phoenix what about teddy?!

He's fine too. He's had cuddles from ds2.

Got my scan today at 12pm. I've had hardly any sleep because my nausea is so bad, I've got to drive a hr to my scan but not sure how I'm going to manage that! DH is going to meet me there.

Bean please still be in there and please be healthy! I can't bear the thought of having felt this wretched for weeks on end for nothing!

Phoenix80 DS2 sounds like a little sweetie! Glad you're ok I have a phobia of falling atm!

I had some bleeding last night and cried my eyes out I was so scared. I know people say it's normal as long as it's not heavy but it didn't make it any less scary. I had a rough night sleeping and kept dreaming I'd woken to a full pad and my bed stained :( Really hoping my little bean is doing ok.

I have my booking appointment this morning so hopefully the midwife will soothe my concerns.

haquoi we were just outside Cockermouth (although we nearly moved to Melmerby in your neck of the woods at one point). It's just the best place to live isn't it? I really miss it.

Good luck for appointments and scans today! Who's had their nhs scan yet? I have mine Friday and trying to arrange childcare for dd but don't know how long I'll be out for...
I'm 12 weeks today according to lmp dates but haven't had any scans to confirm that and can't really relax till I've seen there's something in there! Roll on Friday!!

Actually had a dating scan today. Measuring 8+ 4 due feb 19th (exactly what I thought for due date). Crappy scan, no picture, it just wasn't clear, rude lady. Saw a smudge and a heartbeat though. Booked in for 12 week scan on 13th august.
Feeling better now I have seen everything is ok xx

I have a bean! I had the nicest ultrasonographer! She talked me through everything she was doing. She even showed me the hands and feet! At the end I did thank her for being so reassuring. I had the Panorma test, I had the choice of Harmony or Nifty as well but Harmony was £150 more and the panorama included a paternal test that would help them identify baby's DNA. Scan and blood test and paternal swab was £395.

Yay congrats Ravioli and Rufus! Rufus, any pics? Ravioli- shame she was rude and no pics, but you saw it at least

Good news about the scan Rufus. Did you have the scan done privately?
Great news too raviolig its a shame you couldn't see more but I'm sure your August scan will be a far better experience.
lillian how are you today? Have you spoken to the mw? I think it's quite common to get bleeding on strainig for a BM as the hormones play havoc with your digestion. Take care.

So I eventually realised that I am not going to be hearing about my appointment so after ALOT of chasing (ringing up the GP, nhs choices and the hospital) I have managed to book my booking in appointment.
Just my ultrasound to chase up now,
Anyone else still not heard, I would advise you to chase up!

Twins what area are you in? I just wondered as I'm in the midlands and we seem to be having similar problems! I have given up on the nhs- having my 12 week scan privately.

I am in London May.
It worked like clockwork with dd, I donmt know what went wrong this time but I think the referral just never came through.
I am also preparing to book a private scan as a back up
