Yay phoenix ! Congratulations Smile

BadgieBear · 22/07/2015 19:34

Congrats phoenix - what a lovely pic! Smile

goneswimming · 22/07/2015 21:17

Feeling worried here tonight... I haven't felt queasy all day, and my boobs feel softer and less sore. I'm convinced it's going wrong. I'm only 9+2 so first tri symptoms shouldn't be easing yet should they?

Happytimes2 · 22/07/2015 21:25

Gone it's normal for it to come and go day to day X

Mirabal · 22/07/2015 21:45

rufus so sorry you are feeling so stressed about this. I agree with everything the other ladies have said. The whole of pregnancy to me feels like giving yourself up to something that can be painful and uncomfortable and downright unpleasant but is ultimately doing something absolutely amazing by building a new human being, it's a big deal! I remember well the feeling of wanting to feel normal again but I promise it comes back so quickly when baby arrives. I was also the slightest I've been since puberty after a few months of breastfeeding dd x

Snap phoenix! That's a lovely scan pic :) and you too rising

gone my symptoms got less after about 9weeks but have since come back. Don't panic just yet xx

RattyCatty · 23/07/2015 00:27

goneswimming I think symptoms can fluctuate, try not to worry (hard I know). When is your scan?

rufus I can't give any more advice as the lovely ladies here have done other than be kind to yourself & think about what your body is doing. You will get your body back when you're ready.

Raaaaaah · 23/07/2015 08:09

arghhh! I have scan and harmony bloods this mornig but I have just been to the loo and had some fresh blood spotting. Now I am a bit worried.

haquoi123 · 23/07/2015 08:14

raaah, when's your appointment? How much blood is there?

Raaaaaah · 23/07/2015 08:40

Not much blood Haquoi, but not just a smear either. Appointment is at 10:00 but they are notorious for running late, so it is going to be a nervous wait. I'm going on my own too which is probably not ideal now. Feeling a wee bit crampy which may be something and nothing. At least I had a scan booked hey? Probably good timing in many ways!

haquoi123 · 23/07/2015 08:47

Well I've really got my fingers crossed for you. Have you got anyone you can take along last minute, a friend or family member? I'm not saying it sounds like bad news or anything like that but on the off chance that it is you really shouldn't be alone (from experience). Or can your partner take a sickie?

twinsandapenguin · 23/07/2015 08:50

goneswimming - I had the same when I was pregnant with dd. About 9 weeks, suddenly felt fine. Cue total melt down that everything had gone wrong. I had an early scan the next day and all was fine, the placenta was very well developed for 9ish weeks. I know how worrying it is but don't presume the worst.

twinsandapenguin · 23/07/2015 08:52

Raaah - best of luck for your scan today. At least you don't have to wait long, it must be so worrying. Let us know how it goes

RattyCatty · 23/07/2015 09:06

raaaaaah good luck, I think will be fine, thinking positive thoughts for you

primarynoodle · 23/07/2015 09:21

good luck raaah im sure its nothing!

and.. correct me if im wrong.. but does a harmony mean youll be finding out girl/boy early too??

clarabellski · 23/07/2015 09:24

Good morning everyone, it was lovely to come on and see the new scans from haquoi and pheonix. Congratulations ladies Cake

Raaah we're all with you. I went for an early scan at 8 weeks after some bleeding (on my own) and the little alien was fine Flowers

Stepawayfromthezebras · 23/07/2015 09:26

I hope it goes Ok today raaah

Stepawayfromthezebras · 23/07/2015 09:29

I've been googling round ligament pain today because I moved quickly yesterday and have had a few dull pains on my right side since then. Apparently all perfectly normal after awkward movement and round ligament pain is often felt most on the right hand side. Sometimes I bloody love Doctor Google!

BadgieBear · 23/07/2015 10:13

Good luck today raaaaaah

Rufus200 · 23/07/2015 11:01

Good Luck raaaaah

Gone my symptoms disappeared last week at 10wk, I finally thought the nausea was over and I felt normal. The last 2 days it has been back and worse then ever before.

My nausea is at its worst in the evenings now particularly at bed time, I went to bed 5 hours after eating dinner and still spent most of the night retching in bed. No sleep for me, can't sleep when I'm nauseous!

Thank you for all your kind words ladies. I only had 1 piece of chocolate yesterday so was very pleased with myself, I just need to make better food choices from now on, I don't need dessert and neither does the baby. Carbs are essential for reducing my nausea so until the nausea goes it is lots of pasta and bread for me.

WouldRatherHaveCake · 23/07/2015 13:02

How did you get on raaa

Phew. All fine! Thank you for all the support. Especially nice since only DP knows that I am pregnant. I saw the baby and everything is measuring fine. No sign of where the bleed came from. Measuring at 11 weeks. Sonographer was very reassuring. Matter of fact but informative. They took the bloods for combined and Harmony. Despite have had bleeds with DS and DD, the sight of the blood still made my heart race.

Primary we could have found out the sex through the Harmony test but decided not to. They said if we change our minds we can call them in the next few days...will we cave? We found out with DS (our first) but kept it a secret and didn't find out with DD.
