Haquoi Thanks for the bloating link, some new stuff there to try.

Great scan news and good luck to everyone else having scans. Hope you are ok Pagerty

I'm finally home after a very long, large family wedding. I struggle with meeting big groups of new people and need alcohol to feel comfortable, so it was not much fun for me. There were several of the MIC cast there and others of their ilk. They were the most obnoxious, rude, up themselves people I have ever met!!! There was a lot of snorting of white powder going on in the toilets. DH just got merrily drunk every night and quite a lot of the days to blot out all the horrible people! I have never felt like such an ugly, fat whale next to all the skinny, spot free women, although they didn't look so good at the end of the night. I now have a very noticeable bump so had to tell everyone, even though 12w scan not till next week.

Now got to clean the house after the cat sitter trashed it! Got my 20th house viewing this afternoon, I am so sick of strangers traipsing round my house!

teaandcake2016 · 20/07/2015 12:39

Lovely to hear about the scans and good luck to everyone waiting got theirs. On the plus side today I got that maternity exemption certificate in the post (will go to the dentist for the first time in years!), but the downside today is needing...erm... Regular trips to the loo for bowel movements. Glamorous.

Ohjellybelly · 20/07/2015 12:54

My scan was gorgeous. I saw a little wriggler with a good strong heartbeat. The measurements put me at exactly my dates so I'm a very happy bunny today.

Good luck to everyone else having scans today.

Phoenix80 · 20/07/2015 13:20

Yay more happy scan news Grin

Mine is Wednesday, not til 4pm though. It will be a looooong day!!

I'm off work for 2 weeks now Grin. Once I've had my scan and everything's ok (fingers crossed) me and ds's are going to my parents caravan in Bridlington (dh is working cos he recently started a new job) so looking forward to thatSmile

Hope everyone's ok x

NoMontagues · 20/07/2015 13:22

rally congrats on the scan! You're my due date buddy now Smile

And jelly congrats to you too! What a sweet scan pic.

rufus God poor you. Wasted people can be sooo tedious when you are sober. Ok you might be a bit bloated now, but in a few months you'll have a gorgeous bundle AND you have a bloody important job (iirc- you're a vet aren't you?) whereas that lot will still be pointless airheads.

To my shame I actually watch that show as a veg-out aide Grin Grin

fififolle · 20/07/2015 13:23

Fab news jelly. Great picture!

QuackQuackers · 20/07/2015 13:36

banana sorry to say mine went all the way through last time. I was exhausted.

Every person that had the audacity to say to me “you should probably sleep before the baby arrives” nearly got lynched!

Once dd1 arrived I got more sleep than I had in the prior 7 months – even though she only slept for 2 hours at a time!

Urgh twins that sounds horrid.

I’ve not been posting too much – crazy busy – but tryIng to sneak onto mn when I can (Usually in the middle of the night when I’m WIDE awake!) Amazing scan photos – can’t wait for mine which is AGES away!

BadgieBear · 20/07/2015 13:49

What a fab pic jelly and excellent news on your scan too rally- I love seeing happy scan news!

I've got my official 12 week scan a week on Thursday....very very excited (even though only had an early scan last week!) and am taking my Mum as DP away - cue floods of tears I reckon! Smile

Mirabal · 20/07/2015 13:50

sorry haven't posted much. finally got some better anti-sickness meds from a consultant at a different hospital (wasn't even a battle once I found the right person) and feeling much better. Still nauseous but I think the vomming has stopped which would be amazing. Also got an early scan at 9 weeks and everything looks ok (no picture though). I had a good weep, doctor asked dh to get me the tissues but didn't notice that he was crying too! What a rush of emotions.

I have booking in on Friday but 12 week scan not for ages -10 Aug. Might join FB group after that if all well.

TMI coming up - my meds cause constipation, has anyone got any good remedies that can be used in pregnancy?

Hope everyone ok

Ohjellybelly · 20/07/2015 13:54

Could someone please be so kind as to add my stats to the sheet? I'm on my phone and can't seem to be able to do it. My laptop is dead and the charger is at work. Typical!!

Symptoms - massive boobs, constant nausea and sickness, exhaustion.

Thankyou

StockingFullOfCoal · 20/07/2015 14:09

Had a hectic weekend here.

I'm giving the hospital until Wednesday (10 weeks) to send my scan letter through and then I'm calling to chase it up. I have surgery on 13th August and DH has surgery on 18th August so I really need it to not be during those 2 weeks. I also need to know if they're going to let my DDs in or not.

I'm feeling very uncomfortable. Nothing fits properly, even the new stuff, digs in or doesn't sit right, or clings or whatever and I just want to scream. I'm not even out of the first trimester yet and I'm completely fed up of rapid weight gain, bloating and general grossness. Sad I'm going to be forced to wear harem pants and vest tops 24/7 as thats all I am comfortable in.

rallytog1 · 20/07/2015 14:26

Yay montagues! Glad there are a few January interlopers here Grin

Pagerty · 20/07/2015 14:33

Thank you Rufus I did call EPU and they have said it's very common and apparently it's the first thing they ask women when the present to EPU with bleeding. The midwife says to possibly expect more spotting but if it continues longer than a week to get back in touch. I have been really laid back about this pregnancy up until now but as we have not had a scan yet, the doubts are creeping in. Not long to wait now though, must keep positive.

If all goes well with me Rally we will most likely be January too as I will be having an ELCS and they do those at 39 weeks, due date it FEb 3rd :)

Mawsymoo · 20/07/2015 14:34

Hi all! Congrats on all the great scans!

I'm also feeling uncomfortable in my clothes - I'm still fitting into my normal trousers/jeans but they're tight so I think in another week or two I'll be wearing maternity trousers. That'll be around 6 weeks earlier than with DS Shock. I popped into the shops on my lunch break today - Mothercare have a sale on and have a lot of over-the-bump bootcut-style work trousers in black and navy on sale - I'm 5'7" with long-ish legs and they would be too short for me but would suit someone a bit smaller. Very cheap. Lots of tops and jeans on sale too.

I ended up finding a pair of jeggings in my size for half price - they're from the mamalicious nursing line which I thought was weird (nursing jeans???) so I mentioned it to the girl in the shop and she said they were maternity alright - but when I got back to the office and googled it they're antenatal jeans! They have elastic panels though so they'll do me for a couple of months now and at least I can use them afterwards too but I feel like a right fool! At least they were cheap!

Brummiegirl15 · 20/07/2015 14:39

primarynoodle · 20/07/2015 15:01

brummie i am so happy for you! You really deserve it :) in the grand scheme of things it wont be long until that bean is wiggling about in your arms!! Grin

StockingFullOfCoal · 20/07/2015 15:02

brummie Grin I've had a little cry at that scan, so happy for you!

I'm trying to convince DD4 to get her shoes on so we can fetch DD7 from school. I am failing. She is watching Doctor Who, drinking my sparkling water and totally ignoring me Grin She's definitely her mothers daughter.

Tapering off my meds is making the sensory part of my disorder go through the roof, everything that touches me is seriously irritating me.

2 more days till the school holidays. Cannot wait, I am very in need of a rest.

monkerina · 20/07/2015 15:05

Brummie and OhJelly gorgeous!! So happy for you both Smile

I literally just fell asleep sitting in my chair for 15 mins. Slightly ashamed of self.

RattyCatty · 20/07/2015 15:28

jellypi3 · 20/07/2015 15:39

StockingFullOfCoal · 20/07/2015 15:40

Ratty curry does that to me too but I am eating it 2-3 times a week Shock all the curry, any curry!

overreactionemoticon · 20/07/2015 15:52

Lovely scans, am impatient to know when mine is now!
