I'd assumed people were out having dazzling social lives Money.

I'm sat at the docs for the German booking in appointment. I'll get a scan, weigh in, blood pressure and so on. I'm excited-nervous.

birdbrain21 · 20/07/2015 08:56

montagues I think we must just be a busy bunch the thread is quiet but not very busy on facebook either...

Last week till I break up from school. So excited for the holidays. we moved into our flat a couple of years ago but still have loads of jobs to do to it, I really want to get loads done I'd like the flat to be nice by the time the baby arrives

birdbrain21 · 20/07/2015 08:57

Good luck littleoak

rdr15 · 20/07/2015 09:00

Morning! Just busy running around after a 1 year old! They are exhausting! Can I join the Facebook group? Sometimes find the MN threads hard to follow

primarynoodle · 20/07/2015 09:10

good luck littleoak

feeling ok today montague , scan tomorrow morning confirmed so hopefully i can join the people whove posted happy scans! Ive still had no spotting so that is a good sign.

it is very quiet on here!

overreactionemoticon · 20/07/2015 09:16

NoMontagues I'm still here but not posting much. Mostly just feeling sick! Booking in appointment is tomorrow (at 9+6). Hopefully I'll get my scan before we go on holiday!

BananaRaces · 20/07/2015 09:24

Good luck littleoak!

Well my nausea is definitely a little less all-consuming now, but it seems to have been replaced with dreadful insomnia!!! I think I got a max of 3 hours last night, despite being in bed with my eyes closed and nice and relaxed for about 8!

Can someone please tell me that I won't have insomnia for the whole of the rest of my pregnancy?! Sad I'm 9+6, and think I could cope with having this for the next couple of weeks if it then buggers off for the second trimester... But if I have to deal with this for the next 30 odd weeks then that's a different kettle of fish!!!

Anybody had insomnia at the end of the first trimester which then buggered off in the second (clutching at straws)?????

RattyCatty · 20/07/2015 09:33

Good luck this morning litttleoak

banana I've not been sleeping well recently, I think it's just hormones etc & am hoping it will settle down. I always try to tell myself the body is clever & will sleep when it needs to!

monkerina · 20/07/2015 09:35

Good luck Little Smile isn't it Brummie's scan day today too?

Ohjellybelly · 20/07/2015 09:38

Morning all.
I had insomnia last night too - could be nerves though. I have another scan at the EPU to follow up from my bleed at 6 weeks and some spotting since. I'm sure everything's ok. The terrible sickness reminds me that something's definitely going on in there.
I will be back early pm to post scan pics (if I can work out how to do it).

fififolle · 20/07/2015 10:04

I asked about the Facebook group but no one replied to me??
Just waiting for my booking in appt. I hope it all goes well littleoak.

fififolle · 20/07/2015 10:05

Thinking of you today Brummie.

Littleoakhorn · 20/07/2015 10:09

I meant Monty, not "Money". bloody phone autocorrection.

I have good scan news! There's a wiggly little baby in there, waving at me Smile I've also jumped forwards two days to 9+3.

Good luck today other scan ladies (Brummie?). Hugs to those of you worrying, the first tri really is the hardest for most of us.

As for insomnia, I had it in the first tri and then right at the end with my last pregnancy. By then I was on mat leave anyway, so I just took to napping in the afternoons. It's good practice for when baby arrives Wink

NoMontagues · 20/07/2015 10:16

Oh fantastic littleoak ! Congratulations Smile

And good luck later jelly

NoMontagues · 20/07/2015 10:19

Good luck for everyone who has scans. Full of envy Envy want mine sooner!

Insomnia is a b*h!

monkerina · 20/07/2015 11:07

Good luck OhJelly and fifi...

Little, any pics? Want to squee!

I was naughty and bought a doppler on Ebay last week... eventually found a hb this morning that WASN'T mine! Very exciting Grin

Pogmella · 20/07/2015 11:08

We planed out our spl on Friday Smile All being well I will take 6 and dh 3-6. Had a nice chat about expectations for housework etc which I'm sure we'll need to remind each other aabout!

rallytog1 · 20/07/2015 11:09

Just back from my scan. All good Smile
Baby was kicking around and waving to us. My dates have been put forward a bit so I'm now due on 27 Jan, but still going to stick around in this group if that's ok?

Good luck to everyone else who has scans today. I hope it's going to be a joyful day.

twinsandapenguin · 20/07/2015 11:12

PM me about the FB group ladies, just send me your email address.
Fifi sorry I didn't see your previous comment about it. As everyone says things are just too busy! Probably as we have relatively few first timers here and have other children to keep us on our toes!Grin
Doing a bit of sneaky MNing at work, I'd better get back to it.
I hope everyone is doing well, my pregnancy IBS is raising its ugly head again, fun times.

Pagerty · 20/07/2015 11:14

I'm still here

I will join the Facebook group once I have had my scan and know for sure that there is actually a baby in there Grin

I had a slight bleed last night. It was directly after DH and I had been rather 'romantic' and it frightened the life out of us. It was enough to mark the sheet but after wiping several times nothing more could be seen and I haven't had anything since. Quick google search seems to suggest this can be quite common in pregnancy? I've no pain or cramping out of the ordinary. Not sure if I should bother calling anyone or not. My midwives team operate an answer phone only service and I bet I won't be available when they phone back. I could call EPU but not sure what they will do as I doubt they will call me in (they didn't even want to see me when I had my MC last year unless I was in a lot of pain or bleeding heavily, which thankfully I never was). I am 12 weeks on Wednesday with my scan the following Tuesday.

I don't think DH will want to come near me now lol.

Hope you are ok Noodles Flowers

Fab news Littleoak and good luck Brummie
