primarynoodle · 14/07/2015 21:48

fx ratty im sure itll all be fine!

cant wait until we are all going for the 12w scans, seems like such a wide spread between everyone! I keep lurking on the jan 2016 boards half wishing i was that far ahead!!

anyone else found burping continuously a foolproof way for getting rid of nausea?Blush pregnancy is so flattering!

Rufus200 · 14/07/2015 21:51

Purdie the Ultrsonographer didn't say anything about it and we only noticed it when we got home but both DH and I think it is! (DH spends all day just doing veterinary ultrasounds, he was in raptures over the ultrasound machine, #ultrasound porn!)

My mum can't see the baby in the pic, I have explained it to her 3 times but all she sees is a blob and wails she can't see it (like Rachel in friends when she keeps losing her bean)

Lillian that's great news, sounds v reassuring.
Rufus fab scan pic! I was asking about whether it was private as I had a private scan last week and they mentioned the harmony test.
Purds my wee smells of popcorn! I seem to be super sensitive to smells now!
Caitlin Jenner has a superb makeup artist.

fififolle · 14/07/2015 22:04

Looking forward to hearing about your scan Ratty it will be good news and you will see your beautiful baby.

fififolle · 14/07/2015 22:05

rallytog where in Cheshire are you? I'm here too!

Pogmella · 14/07/2015 22:08

Bigfox I tried some red herring ones on in Debenhams but wasn't hugely impressed- have a selection coming from asos and newlook-via-asos to try, all £20-£30. I'm a bit of a half pint so normally buy petites but struggled to find any... Will be turning up the hems I suppose!

Purdiepipesdown · 14/07/2015 22:12

Fifi, do you think Caitlyn shares his makeup artist with Kim , Kendall, Kevin, Kai, Klay & Carole Vorderman?

Is Chloe Madeley transgender?

I can't believe your pee-pee smells too! I actually wanted to bury my nose in my gusset before, so comely was the whiff of popcorn.

Purdiepipesdown · 14/07/2015 22:15

Oooo, Fifi. Your little boy's name was discussed at length on a recent mn Baby Names thread and it was unanimously declared fabulous Smile

fififolle · 14/07/2015 22:22

Purds I'm glad I have full approval for DS's name, he is a cool little dude!
I'm sure it is the hormones giving the popcorn smell.
I think Caitlyn shares his makeup artist with no one! Lots of eyeliner and false lashes, not lots of crazy shading a la Kimye.

elephantfeet · 14/07/2015 22:40

Purdie I had a distinct smell of popcorn wee a few weeks ago, it has stopped now though!! It was strange but not in a bad way Blush

Spanoo · 14/07/2015 22:45

All this side-taking seems to be splitting the group and amplifying things...Sad

Great to hear everyone's good news! Keeping me excited through all the rubbish symptoms Envy

elephantfeet · 14/07/2015 22:53

Also bought my first pair of under bump jeans yesterday. My belly seems to have popped out the last few days and my other ones were just unbearable despite actually losing weight over the last 3 months! These new jeans are like wearing denim heaven.

Just an observation. And I get it... But can we respect the points made and let it go now?

Spanoo · 14/07/2015 23:21

I'm also going to have to look into mat clothes pretty soon... Feel so frumpy. Hope everyone gets some sleep tonight!

Great news about the scans rufus and lilian!

Good luck for yours too ratty! My next one is on Thursday!

My holiday has finished and it's back to real lifeSad looking after 2 DC when I'm tired and sick seems daunting and DH is away for work. I was visiting my parents and they helped me so much I was going to move in with them

Sorry for the moan.

I am wearing all my jeans unzippedBlush I guess it's time to get out the maternity clothes. I'm glad many other ladies have bumps this early as well.

haquoi123 · 15/07/2015 06:50

Facebook memories has put up my 12 week scan with DS. So I got rid of it and they said they're sorry I didn't want to see the memory (you know, the stupid little tag underneath) and now I just feel guilty and upset, because it was a great day last year but this year I didn't need to mark it. AND I'd turned off the memory function. Fucking triggers, day ruined.

rallytog1 · 15/07/2015 06:56

Facebook are complete fuckers with those memory things haquoi. Hope today can bring you some joy and peace despite the rubbish start Thanks

fifi I'm in the sunny metropolis of Frodsham. Whereabouts are you? There are a few other Cheshire people on here too.

I'm sending you an unmumsnetty hug Haquoi

Where are people planning on getting their maternity clothes from? I survived on just a few things last time but I'd like to get some more now. Top of my list are jeans! The only thing is that by about 6 or 7 months last time I found trousers uncomfortable, even over-bump ones, so I ended up in dresses. Meanwhile, I found that maternity dresses look all sad and empty before you're about 5 or 6 months.
