Lol little me too!

fififolle · 15/07/2015 07:29

No side taking or petty name calling here.
I was being completely genuine in my comments about the makeup artist being superb, I'm very impressed by the transformation.

fififolle · 15/07/2015 07:30

Rally I'm in Congleton Smile.

RattyCatty · 15/07/2015 07:43

Thinking....we're so early on still in pregnancy that this forum is one of the few places we have to express our fears and hopes about our babies. If anyone felt uncomfortable being on here, it's likely that they won't have anyone else to talk to for the next few weeks. So a bit of an effort all round on kindness will make a big difference. Suggest we focus on the stress and beauty of what we're all doing in common rather than winding up on differing opinions. Preach over.

Here here Smile

rallytog1 · 15/07/2015 08:10

I think it's fine for people to say what they want - but in the same vein, others have a right not to like it and to say so.

Peace and love people Smile

H&M for maternity clothes. And nursing bras/vests/tops. Currently just buying a size 14 from Primark - 3 months ago I was almost in a size 10. My thighs appear to have swollen and I can't get any of my jeans or trousers on. Most annoying. My boobs are HUGE - gone from a DD to an FF.

Pogmella · 15/07/2015 08:25

Bigfox sounds like a plan- being at work means I have to be pretty discreet at what I look at for another week or so... (really want to google baby questions!)

Really love all the support here, its been a lonely old 11 weeks and dh is very easily grossed out Wink

Pogmella · 15/07/2015 08:27

Our Primark doesn't have maternity Angry

StockingFullOfCoal · 15/07/2015 08:29

No maternity in my Primark either, I'm just buying bigger sizes!

Stepawayfromthezebras · 15/07/2015 08:33

Asos seem to have a good selection. I always like Next for their jeans so will try and find a couple of pairs from them. Apart from basics I'm going to try and use what I have and also get used stuff from eBay, I don't want to spend too much on stuff I'll only wear for a couple of months.

I'm out for dinner with friends tonight and trying to think of something to wear that'll cover my bloat bump. Only 2 weeks and one day till I can let it all hang out Grin

Purdiepipesdown · 15/07/2015 08:36

I did wonder about your personal attack on me, Eightdollars. Clearly we have clashed in the past but it's a little bit of a cunt's trick to reference another group whilst hiding behind another persona. Would you like to come out and reveal all? No? Well perhaps you'll consider shutting your trap, then, as you are not, in fact, the Thought Police.

MayFlowers16 · 15/07/2015 08:38

Peace everyone. Gone I liked your post.

Harquoi Thanks

Stocking yes to swollen thighs. Why is it that the maternity models have a bump, but are totally stick thin otherwise?!

Three days until scan day Smile

Purdiepipesdown · 15/07/2015 08:47

...and my last word regarding this fucking pearl-clutching nonsense is that I am one of the most supportive people on this thread. I am not transphobic but I am entitled to say Caitlyn Jenner is not someone I would relish being married to. That's not because he's decided he would rather identify as a woman but because he is a media who're who has done fuck all for the trans community (yes...I read that on the various trans and feminist threads).

I am categorically not homophobic. I simply alluded to the fact I would not like to be married to a gay man. This is not because I do not like gay men but because I love sex.

I have not specified which culture the family were from who gathered in fucked-up numbers in my postnatal hospital ward.

So please...pipe the fuck down and let's get back to the business of popcorn-smelling piss.

monkerina · 15/07/2015 08:48

Haquoi Flowers Facebook is pants.

Jeans- I lost several stone over the last few years so am fortunate enough to have a wide selection of sizes to choose from. However, the ones that are loose and comfortable around my waist seem to be ridiculously wide in the thigh so I am currently staying in the house, so only the cat can judge. I do have some comfy New Look maternity jeans bought in 1st preg before that all went wrong, so 1) they feel cursed 2) I was a size larger then so they prob don't fit anyway. Ugh.

Glad you all share my statistics obsession Grin

purdie Do you watch Jenna Marbles?

Happytimes2 · 15/07/2015 09:01

Monty I have a chunk of a 2 year old. He walks really well but there are still loads of times I need to lift him e. G car seat etc. I actually argued with dh this am cos he lifts him all the time which makes me the bad one for not lifting him!
I think after first 12 weeks the risk it to u not baby cos ligaments relax so ure more likely to injure ure self.
got booking I appt today. Sending ds to grandma's house I'm quite tempted to take him early so I can chill before ! Bad mammy!

Spanoo · 15/07/2015 09:06

I was thinking eBay for a few things too, but in desperate need of bras (boobs have also ballooned here) so may just nip to Primani to sort that out today.

I agree with all you ladies - fine to disagree with each other, but my point was that it's escalating and not getting anywhere. We don't know each other's backgrounds or vulnerabilities so I just think we could be careful with each other and let things go where we can - I worry too much!
