Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Mountain did you have a saveloy? Was it amazing? Waaaaaaa! I am jealous! Sad

LaLaLaaaa · 10/07/2015 21:57

A saveloy in Scotland would be a battered sausage, is it the same thing? My dh loves deep fried pizza on the way home from a night out. I have an onion ring supper, mm mm!

Pud I'm afraid I had very little 'glow', only a few weeks really. So I can't help you there! I'll still hang around to cheer you all on after MiniLa arrives :) y'all like family!

Chat well done on the shagging! How long until you get the green light from the consultant?

Hooray for driving pretzel!

I couldn't eat my tea, I felt too sick. But just made up for it by eating 2 cornettos. God they're nice

Wow you are lucky getting pg massages purple! I've only had one but I'd kill for another particularly of my butt silver cross is a nice pram!

I might need to use this tool indigo, if I keep bloody tearing! I thought I was quite 'roomy' but apparently not!

I want fish n chips now

Trailer for new series of great British bake off waaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Coming soon!

pretzelpieces · 10/07/2015 22:07

Thanks everyone. I only drove five mins to a friend's house and I am dreading driving home in the dark! What a wimp I am.

Wizard's sleeve! Grin I cackled.

Purpleball · 10/07/2015 22:14

La saveloys are like polish kabanos I think. Nowt like a British sausage. Maybe more like a frankfurter perhaps. Help me out here southerners Grin

Booked my next massage for first day of mat leave. 5 weeks on Tuesday. If things don't calm down I'm going to end up getting signed off though. The stress and anxiety is not good for me or the baby. They can't enforce mat leave until 36 weeks. I'll see how I feel on Monday.

I'm excited about my pram. I have a go with one every time I'm in a pram shop and fantasise about pushing my baby in it saddo

DulcetMoans · 10/07/2015 22:27

I can't believe anyone wouldn't know what a saveloy is! It's defo not a battered sausage. It's a spiced sausage I guess. It's red. No idea what is made of, best not to ask...

Do you think you could make a home made epi-no by using fruit and veg and slowly increasing the size each week?! Say from carrot up to butternut squash? That could work, and then you have dinner!

Just done my last bump pic. well, I say that, could be one more I guess!

LaLaLaaaa · 10/07/2015 22:34

Dulcet you're talking to the girl who once used a banana as a dare. Anything's possible

Never had a saveloy. Also never had a kebab

OP posts:
honeysucklejasmine · 10/07/2015 22:36

Dulcet, remind me not to eat crudités at your house.

Yes, a saveloy is most like a frankfurter, but the skin in more plasticky... It's great. These ones were stored in a water bath. That should have put my off, but they are poached that way... I guess this one was soggy.

#saveloysadness

DM&D invited us over for BBQ tomorrow. That'll make me feel better.

Nessalina · 10/07/2015 22:38

Just de-lurking from FB to MN to see what La's question was! Smile Personally I did not have poo type sensations early doors, but I know some people do get them. I found contractions started very very quietly... a dull ache building up in the womble, then going away completely after about 20secs. They got gradually longer and owchier over the space of a few hours. The weird thing about labour that I never realised before doing it - in between contractions it doesn't hurt at all! I thought it would be hurting most of the time, but early on you might only get one twinge every 20mins.

What the heck does an epi-no look like? Blush Good god I can't believe that such a device exists!!
Ha Dulcet, just follow that guidance of your pregnancy size app! That's why they tell you what size your baby is in fruit, right? So you can ensure you're able to insert it into your fanjo?? winces at the thought of pineapple week

mountaingirl01 · 10/07/2015 22:45

No sausages honey I'm a chips straight up kinda girl :) feel very bad and very full now!

oneyorkshirepud · 10/07/2015 22:54

Hmmm, I see your reasoning there Ness, but I am not sure about the pumpkin week....

I'll be honest ladies, you are not selling the saveloys. Yey for Bake Off though!

LaLaLaaaa · 10/07/2015 23:00

Thanks ness!

Mines a honeydew melon this week. Ouch!

honeysucklejasmine · 10/07/2015 23:01

GBBO is great! Looking forward to that.

But... I don't like Paul. I don't like how he stares at the contestant whilst slowly chewing. Eugh. Creepy.

DulcetMoans · 10/07/2015 23:06

Its a good idea ness, makes sense! If it's coming out a pumpkin then in theory one should go up there, right? You can be the Guinea pig la, you have previous! Wink

No crudités at my house honey, we have crisps and jelly beans. You're safe!

RPopz · 10/07/2015 23:08

Haha Ness! I also just delurked to see La's question Grin (Was secretly hoping you'd be in labour Wink).

Mine started off like stingy period pains... It's only when I needed hot water bottle and paracetemol for them and realised they were coming in waves that it clicked Grin

Waves at all the preggos Who's next to pop??

pretzelpieces · 10/07/2015 23:08

I made it home, viroids! And I even parked the car twice after changing my mind about where to leave it. Grin I still think driving is terrifying and stressful! Blush Hoping I won't always feel that way if I persevere with it.

I'm southern and I don't know what a saveloy is Confused

RPopz · 10/07/2015 23:09

Dulcet its yoooou! Shock

DulcetMoans · 10/07/2015 23:13

I know popz, how did this happen?!

Nice one pretzel! You'll get all the firsts out the way and then feel more confident.

pretzelpieces · 10/07/2015 23:15

Aw thanks dulcet I hope so

oneyorkshirepud · 10/07/2015 23:22

Keep at it Pretzel, your confidence will increase with time. I was so scared that I would run someone over to begin with, but I like driving now just not in cities.

Toast85 · 11/07/2015 00:40

I don't know about a saveloy but Mmmm battered sausage. Mmmm onion rings. And hooray for bake off, I was talking about when it might be back on with my friends this evening, when does it start?

deeplybaffled · 11/07/2015 00:58

pud - don't rule out it being something medical and perhaps iron related. My levels were fine at 12 weeks, but I started getting dizzy spells where intermittently I had to lie down or sit down after even mild exercise like a few flights of stairs as my head was swimming and I was panting. And whilst I wasn't mega fit before, I'd run a 10k at 14 weeks, so it was definitely more than normal tiredness.
. When they rechecked my levels at 28 weeks, the iron level had dropped dramatically and since taking spatone , I've not had any more really wobbly spells. So whilst it might not be the same for you, it may be an idea to check it out. Can completely sympathise though as the dizziness was nasty :(

deeplybaffled · 11/07/2015 01:00

purple - I thought they could start mat leave earlier if you were signed off with a pregnancy related illness. Is that not right?

LaLaLaaaa · 11/07/2015 04:14

Spatone helped me too!

Pain coming and going here but no pattern as far as I know and doesn't feel strong.

As long as I can fall asleep through it I'm not counting it as contraction!

Baby's jumping about though, he's excited

DulcetMoans · 11/07/2015 04:32

Mine has a proper disco every night too la. They obviously know something we don't! Think we will still be here saying this in two weeks?

Low iron took me by surprise as well pud. Didn't appreciate how it could affect breathing and energy etc. worth checking at next appointment maybe as it's an easy fix.

Probably having fish and chips for lunch now. And by that I mean battered sausage and chips!

Just woken up from a dream that I was being paid to do a 10mile race on 24th July. I was being used as a 'human interest story' by work (although weirdly not my department!) to be the pregnant lady ran a race. Had to go in and tell them it would be here by 24th. They've were as thought it was still a good news story. I was dreading it though and needed baby out so I could train.

Brain must be scared I will make it run once I've popped!
