Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Long night then la? Did you have fun though??

batfish · 07/07/2015 05:51

Wow late one la when you thought they'd be gone by 9! Hope they helped you clear up!

LaLaLaaaa · 07/07/2015 06:44

Morning! Have given up trying to sleep too much cake and scones been in pain all night with heartburn and food soreness and praying I don't go into labour because it would have been very difficult to tell which was labour and which wasn't! It's finally calmed down with half a bottle of gaviscon.

Ok firstly the important things:

Pud - yes mat clothes are amazing, I want to wear my asos leggings forever!

Jelly - good luck for this morning!!!! Hold your nerve, you will be fine. Let us know how you get on. Put Google down!

Pis - scones are my new favourite thing. According to everyone last night I make 'the best scones ever'. Pretty chuffed with that!

Dulcet - mum to be massage sounds incredible! I have put mattress protector on bed in case waters go.

Gaggia - loving your bumpie! You're looking amazing

Ok so the party:

Wow! My friends are lovely!

I got a bit stressed at the start - dh was meant to be home by 4 to move table outside and make punch but didn't get home til 5 so I was in big strop.

Then the texts started coming - loads of folk wanting to turn up early 'to help' which was lovely except you know when you have everything sorted in your head and just want to get things done and have some downtime? Anyways so by 6 I had about 10 folk already here, putting up decorations and putting out food which harassed me a bit as I wasn't expecting folk that early and so was still making sandwiches. But they were lovely and put up bunting in the garden and balloons and put out games they'd created and little message books for the baby.

I had what we're meant to be caterpillar balloons hanging in garden which looked like sperms, I thought of you lot when I saw them!!! They were brilliant!

Everyone arrived and dug into the food - they loved the sandwiches I'd made and the reheated frozen scones came out perfectly soft which I had been concerned about. Mr La ran away to the pub and apparently 'it was Mexican night so he had a burrito and chips for under a fiver' (he was very pleased about this when he told me later).

My friend had made this immense Victoria sponge cake with baby animal decorations. It was amazing.

They all brought baby photos so we had to guess who was who. There was a game to guess the hospital bag items through a bin bag, which I lost at! But I got to keep the items Grin

They all wrote down their predictions for arrival date, weight, length etc and I have to tell them who won after baby's here.

We also did a funny game where they had to make baby out of plasticine. I judged the winner. The baby's heads kept falling off.

All in all it was loads of fun and not cringy like I'd feared. They did make me open presents in front of them but I'd asked for toys for baby so there was no 'ooohs and ahhhs' at tiny socks.

People only started leaving at 10, I think they could see I was getting sore and tired.

The organisers packed up all their stuff and left around 10:30, at which point dh banished me to bed (he wa quite squiffy by this point - think he was taking advantage of other folk being available to drive to hospital if needed).

So he did all the cleaning up!

I meanwhile lay in bed and my feet and bump were in agony from standing up, followed by the heartburn.

But it was such a lovely night and I feel bit totes emosh for having lovely friends.

Oh and the person who was late because of eating food arrived at 8 while we were having group photos taken I'm garden so she had to wait at the front door til we'd finished to let her in.

She'd been texting me all evening asking could she borrow a book when she arrived. This was when party had already started and she was meant to have arrived. Very odd!

She's absolutely lovely so it's quite odd for her.

Morning. Glad you had a good time last night la. Although you need more sleep!

I had a terrible nights sleep. Was up about 7 times to pee (not an exaggeration) and now I've got a stomach ache from nerves. No idea why I feel so nervous.

Anyway thanks for the well wishes, gx I'll be back this afternoon with a pic or at least good news. :)

DulcetMoans · 07/07/2015 07:03

Wow, epic catch up there la, you must have been working on that a while!

Party sounds lovely, glad it was all the best bits without the cringe. Think there was something up with the late friend or just having a funny give minutes? I would totes be there for a scone but I'm lazy and very pregnant and you are too far away!

Moan alert: BIL pregnant GF is too much for me. She had 4D scan yesterday and now my Facebook is full of the video, 200 photos and a bump pic. Hmm she hasn't posted about anything not pregnancy related since she announced. The only other things are passive aggressive statements about her co-workers which also related to her being pregnant! (Ok, I'll stop hating now)

Jcandy · 07/07/2015 07:07

Sounds like a lovely evening la Smile would love to have cake but you're too far away from me too

Good luck today jelly. Looking forward to seeing your photo later

LaLaLaaaa · 07/07/2015 07:13

Jelly that's understandable you're nervous, deep breaths you'll be fine xx

Yeah sorry about mammoth post, it was vitally important you knew every boring detail ;)
Basically I was excited

Baby bores are the worst!!! I deliberately haven't put anything on Facebook this whole pregnancy, except for our announcement. People have asked for bump pics so I normally pm them. No one wants that rubbed in their face!

Ahh la sounds like such a lovely evening, glad you were well looked after and it all went well Smile

jelly totally normal to be nervous don't worry, I nearly vommed in the waiting room before my first 2 scans and I could hardly breathe. You will be fine, can't wait to hear all about it and see the lovely pics!

batfish · 07/07/2015 07:17

Ugh dulcet she does sound like one of those people who thinks they're the only one to have ever been pregnant! I know some people like to share more than others and I do like seeing little updates from people on fb even though I haven't put anything on there myself other than when I accidentally outed myself by clicking my attendance to a baby market but sometimes people share a bit too much. A girl I used to work with was a massive over sharer and every week she would post the update from the app - lovely now everyone knows that this week you're getting increased vaginal discharge and possibly piles Grin

Purpleball · 07/07/2015 07:40

Ugh Dulcet can you unfollow her then you don't see her crap, she won't know

La your baby party sounded loads of fun, and you have lovely friends Smile
Hurray for not having to clean up too Smile

Jelly post a pic when you can, looking forward to seeing jellybean Smile

Fleurchamp · 07/07/2015 07:57

Morning morning!

Sounds like you had a great time at your party la - your friend does sound a little odd!

GX today jelly

ga you look fab, people should just STFU!

I have a busy day of coffee and cake with the nct girls and then a mw appointment.

honeysucklejasmine · 07/07/2015 08:13

Gx today Jelly!

Ok, so... Had the faintest colour discharge when I wiped this morning. Tell me this is normal please. Will wipe again in a bit and see if it's there again.

batfish · 07/07/2015 08:24

honey try not to worry, if there is more then it is quite common to have spotting or bleeding, I think a couple of viroids have had quite bad bleeding and everything has been fine. Just keep an eye on it and call your docs if you are worried but I'm sure all will be ok, how many weeks are you now?

honeysucklejasmine · 07/07/2015 08:36

I am 7 weeks today. Just wiped again. Nothing, nothing, tiny mark, nothing, nothing. Keeping calm thoughts.

So do I go to aquarobics today? Is jumping about a good idea? I will need to go up there anyway to avoid a fee for not giving two hours notice. But do I just wait a few mins and sneak out, or get in pool? Like a ninja. A sneaky ninja.

jellypi3 · 07/07/2015 08:43

honey I'm sure it's nothing, but try to stay calm coming from me lol I would still go aquarobics, take your mind off of it for a little bit.

Thanks everyone, we are leaving soon for the hour and half trek to the hospital. I totally didn't just POAS for some reassurance Blush

Purpleball · 07/07/2015 08:51

Honey try not to worry. Lots of us had this. It's invariably nothing

I'd go about your day as normal. If it happens again, phone your midwife

DulcetMoans · 07/07/2015 08:53

Good luck jelly! You'll probably feel nervous until you leave the room after the scan. We will be here waiting!

Always scary honey but probably all totally fine. Aqua is low impact so you can still do that, you can't jump anything out. But only go if you want to. (Is that LA fitness? That's my gym and I've snuck in the gates, waited and then left to avoid the punishment!)

She is a total baby bore. Like you say bat, some people share more than others and I have gone the other way and shared nothing. I don't expect her to do that necessarily but it is all she does. She's very young and proper attention seeking about it. Not only is she the only one to have ever been pregnant but she is also an expert on it all and very hard done by. I can't get rid purple, it would be noticed. I could hide but then worry I will get questioned about it like a quiz and not know something!

Coffee and cake with NCT ladies here too fleur, we did this last week didn't we? On the same day? Maybe we are in the same group!

gaggiagirl · 07/07/2015 09:09

honey I get translucent but beige/honey coloured discharge. Keep an eye on it.
Enjoy NCT cakes viroids.
Not long now jelly.
I have to go to the solicitors and kiddos new school today and tomorrow.
I slept but the bump hurts.

Fleurchamp · 07/07/2015 09:17

dulcet we are nct twins Grin

I used to get a discharge with a slight brown tinge. My mw said it was normal but get it checked if it looked like blood. It stopped after a few weeks (it's funny how quickly I forget stuff).

I am glad I have mw today, the baby's movements have become much slower over the past day - still moving but not the usual arm and leg jabs, just wiggling. I am assuming it's normal as the baby is running out of room but it will be nice to hear the heartbeat and get some reassurance.

Purpleball · 07/07/2015 09:39

Dulcet I have a couple of friends that I've unfollowed, I tend to look on their pages once a week and like something so as to not arouse suspicion. It's less irritating than constant political ranting and memes

Purpleball · 07/07/2015 09:41

YY to the brown tinge. I only know cos I wear panty liners constantly

LaLaLaaaa · 07/07/2015 10:21

Honey if you're worried speak to mw but it sounds common as lots of folk get it.

I'm still in bed. I think party broke me

Fleur I have been worried about mine too. Definitely less vigorous movement

So my sister has just been offered her first midwife job to start later this year, I am SO proud of her as it has been a hell of a degree. I want to send her a congratulations gift, thought about flowers but would like something more thoughtful but I'm rubbish! Any nice nursey/midwifey ideas where she would remember it was a gift from when she got her first job? I thought about one of the watch things they wear but I don't know if she has one already and don't want to ask as it would spoil the surprise.
