Anybody else out there??! Just got my faint BFP on a first response test! Only 9DPO so shouldn't really have tested - I told myself I wouldn't till I missed my period! - but was just feeling very pregnant. My due date is showing as 1st March. This would be number 2 for me, I already have a little girl, 20 months. Only symptoms so far are very sore boobs and a snuffy nose first thing in the morning!

maybe although I've got sore/tender boobs, I've found the level of soneness/tenderness can varry a lot. It was the same when I was pregnant with dd.

bambi I can remember the horror of finding spotting, unfortantly it wasn't good news for me, it got heavy very quickly, within an hour or so of noticing initial spotting. A little brown spotting on it's own shouldn't be anything to worry about. But personally I'd want to see my gp asap with anything like that just to make sure. I know he'd give me a referal to epau. The advice I was given was to rest as much as possiable and try not to worry, which I know is impossable.

BeautifulLiar · 07/07/2015 11:21

With my first two pregnancies I didn't have one tiny spot of blood the whole way through - not even a show with the first.

Then came the third. At about 5-6 weeks I had brown discharge when I wiped. This went on for a few days. I was so upset and did go to the gp (who was lovely but couldn't do much) however it did stop and the rest of the pregnancy was fine she's been trouble ever since!

I've never tested early before so feeling symptomless for a week now is so strange (apart from the crying!)

Embolio · 07/07/2015 12:01

With ds1 I had barely any symptoms the whole way through, just tiredness. I feel like I tested very early this time too - all feels a bit precarious. 6 weeks will feel like a mini milestone for me I think, then 8, then 12.

BeautifulLiar · 07/07/2015 12:04

Same here, embolio. I keep thinking "bring on 6 weeks, when it'll have a little heartbeat". Ignoring the fact morning sickness will probably rear its ugly head! How far along are you? Think I'm 4+5.

Embolio · 07/07/2015 12:11

Same as you! 4+5 March 11th due date I think? Need an app to keep track as brain like a sieve!

BeautifulLiar · 07/07/2015 12:51

ooh exciting! I can't wait for the scan which will give a definite due date. My cycles have been 30-35 days... just going by 4+5 as Thursday is 3 weeks since we last had sex Blush

Brindler · 07/07/2015 12:52

Thanks Embolio!

Bambini - I had brown spotting about 3 or 4 times during my pregnancy with dd1. It's terrifying and I used to race to the hospital every time it happened only to find it would stop and everything would be fine. They couldn't explain it but said not to worry

I actually had spotting last week which I thought was a sign af was on her way but must have been implantation!

Chickpea1983 · 07/07/2015 12:53

5 weeks today! Yay Smile. Only 35 more to go!!

JoannaZZ · 07/07/2015 12:54

Thanks dobbythedoggy, I'll try to resist taking another digital test for now. It helps that they are expensive and the shops are a long walk away :)

JoannaZZ · 07/07/2015 12:57

That's a good attitude Chickpea, it's a good thing 4 weeks are done already by the time we find out, gives us a head start :)

marmitemofo · 07/07/2015 14:01

Bambini3 · 07/07/2015 14:07

Thank you maybee and brindler. I've had nothing else so starting to feel more confident. I'm at the Drs on Friday.
Congrats to everyone! Smile

Chickpea1983 · 07/07/2015 15:12

We have a Facebook group as well in case anyone wants to join. PM me your email address and I will send an invitation.

Kittykitty05 · 07/07/2015 15:33

Is it all private? Worries me about making an unintended public announcement!

Lucy61 · 07/07/2015 15:50

Not sure about facebook- I like the anonymity and privacy of mumsnet. Besides, it could isolate those who don't have it. Wink

WouldRatherHaveCake · 07/07/2015 18:31

Corr I don't come on for 3 days and look at all the newbies! Congrats and welcome all!

kitty yes it's all private, no one will see you're a member or anything.

Not much going on here. 6+2 and was feeling pretty rotten today - not sick just yuck. Starting to wish I had some decent symptoms!

dobbythedoggy · 07/07/2015 19:39

Well booking in appointment for me tomorrow, going to make it all feel a bit more real. Really hoping midwife will surrgest referal to epau, but must remember to ask not freeze up. Not sure if I'm going to have to take dd with me or not yet. Hopefully dh won't be called into work tomorrow morning and I can get away with him keeping her.

Is anyone else experiencing the joy of fanny daggers yet? Never got to many when I was pregnant with dd. But had a couple today...just ouch! Think it's a good sign.

maybebabybee · 07/07/2015 21:28

What are fanny daggers?!

Dreya · 07/07/2015 22:02

Going to have a read through and try and catch up. Hello and congratulations all newbies. I pm'd a little while ago to be added to the fb group. Have not been added yet. I shall try again.

ImGoingForATwix · 07/07/2015 22:14

Hi all newbies! ?????

Brown spotting is old blood which I think is usually ok, but worth a chat with your mw/GP if it's worrying you.

Missdee2014 · 07/07/2015 23:14

Is anyone else over sensitive? I've burst out crying twice in the last two days over things my oh has said that I'd normally laugh at him for. Also, feel my boobs a wee bit tender today and felt kinda sicky all day. I feel like I'm too early for any symptoms Shock

Oh, and we told both sets of parents tonight despite the fact we weren't going to tell a single soul until after first scan Grin

Missdee2014 · 07/07/2015 23:15

I don't remember having any other symptoms this early with my previous 3 pregnancies.

I have 2 dc (11 and 8) and had a mc between them.

Bambini3 · 08/07/2015 07:06

missdee I cried at a bank advert yesterday, the best dad scarf one! Blush

PeggyO · 08/07/2015 07:35

Thanks Embolio. I'll hold off calling the GP for a couple more weeks, I think. It still all feels so early that I don't feel ready to do anything that would make it 'real', if that makes sense!

Missdee, I have been surprised by early symptoms too - I'm not even at 5 weeks yet but have been feeling nauseous, have heavy, tender boobs, and yesterday afternoon had this overwhelming sudden tiredness. I didn't expect any of these things so early!

Missdee2014 · 08/07/2015 07:50

Lol at the advert crying. I can remember crying at nappy adverts with dd1 Smile
