Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 29th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 47th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: stats

Ahhhh she is gorgeous Rhi!

JC how are you feeling?

Niffertiti · 28/05/2015 13:32

Aww, looking that is wonderful news, I've got a massive smile on my faceGrin. What an emotional rollercoaster though! I second having a bloody good rest - you've had a nasty shock!

Rhi hoorah for a girl! I know it's probably different after 2csections but my mum had my two bloody ENORMOUS brothers normally after I was a csecttion.

But then, my mum is the sort of person who says labour was 'fine, I don't know what all the fuss is about, I was doing some gardening, went to hospital, popped a baby out and was back pruning the roses s few hours later'. She describes it as 'like doing a big poo'. I shit you not.

See what I have to live up to viroids?

Scan 7pm. Cross things please!

mountaingirl01 · 28/05/2015 13:33

Oh loking I am so happy and relieved for you! Yes, chance of mc decreases once a viable heartbeat is heard. I have cysts on my ovaries (one of the reasons why it took me so long to conceive) and had really bad ice pains and got a lot of cramps in early pregnancy. Also I had no symptoms till second trimester. Enjoy the next few days before the paranoia and fear kick in again!

rhi what a beaut! So pleased it all went well. You keep pushing for the birth you want. It's no one else's decision Flowers and actually as hcp s no one really has the right to say no

mountaingirl01 · 28/05/2015 13:34

PS e everything crossed niff ! Although everything will be fine.

Fattycow · 28/05/2015 13:35

looking, yay!

rhi, gorgeous baby!

PixieChops · 28/05/2015 13:36

Looking I am soooo happy for you right now! I'd even do a happy dance but I'd be dared of falling over with these legs of mine at the moment! Big squishy hugs for you! Had everything crossed that it was all fine and your doctor was being a "no nowt"
Rhi congratulations on having a girl!! Even if I didn't want to know the sex of this baby as soon as the sonographer put the scanner thingamajiggy on my tummy the biggest pair of balls appeared on the screen Grin it's a good news day today Smile

jellypi3 · 28/05/2015 13:36

good luck for the scan niff :)

Purpleball · 28/05/2015 13:40

I'll catch up properly later but Looking that's amazing. I'm sooo chuffed for you Smile

Hobbit19 · 28/05/2015 13:51

Good luck Niff, how many weeks are you?

Jcandy · 28/05/2015 13:57

I'm feeling better thanks pud I've not vomited for 4 days now! Though I have still been retching, nausea had reduced but seems to have kicked back in today. Still stupidly tired and napping all the time but don't feel as completely drained as I did last week. Even managed to make dinner last night for the first time in weeks Smile

Good luck for your scan niff

RhiannonElward · 28/05/2015 14:01

thanks all for your lovely comments, I'm so happy I have been singing a Double Vagina Song to dp and it took him a remarkable amount of time to work out why. Men are stoopid. :)

Niff crossing everything for your scan later, I'm sure it'll be fine. You mother sounds like a legend too, hopefully for you that sort of thing is genetic. My mother keeps telling me how she thought she was going to die every time she gave birth so we seem to be from different stock Hmm

Mountain thanks for the support :) I do want a vbac and it is something that's important to me personally, I've got two children but I've never experienced labour and vaginal birth and I really want to. Of course I am not about to risk my baby for it, but I do think surgery is also a risk and they don't seem to that into account. The NICE guidelines are on my side and hopefully after the Birth Choices thing I'll at least have talked it through properly and dp will stop thinking I'm being reckless.

Pixie congratulations on them massive testicles, boys are brilliant too!

Purpleball · 28/05/2015 14:01

Hurray JC Grin
Hopefully the knackeredness will wear off soon

Have to look at pic later as I'm on the app.

Software broken Hmm customer buggered off back to office and I'm sat twiddling my thumbs while techie works it out

Hobbit19 · 28/05/2015 14:02

Glad you are feeling somewhat better JC!

jellypi3 · 28/05/2015 14:03

yay for feeling better jc :)

PixieChops · 28/05/2015 14:08

Thanks! I get to meet him and his giant balls in 3 weeks time! Grin So excited!
DD has had her injections today (12 month lot) omg does that kid have a pair of lungs on her! Jesus she screamed the place down! Anyway she's tucked up in her cot now having a nap with Tilly the tortoise and has had some ibuprofen. Hoping she'll still love me when she wakes up and won't be in too much of a mood .

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 28/05/2015 14:53

Looking that's awesome. I almost didn't dare check back, I was steeling myself for bad news. Treat yourself today, you deserve it after the roller coaster ride you've been on.

Congrats Pixie and Rhi, it's certainly time for a good news day - and what I said about treating yourselves applies too. Actually, it applies to all of us, Cake all around!

So I have a dilemma viroids. I NEED to have this baby before next week. DH has been off all week looking after both me and DS but he's due back at work on Monday. I was highly confident to the point of being convinced that I would drop by now and therefore not worried about his increasingly imminent return. I just assumed (ha ha) that this week would lead seamlessly into his paternity leave.

My mobility is utterly crap and I'm only coping because he's here. There's no one around to help me on Monday, though I could drum up some help on Tuesday and Wednesday if it comes down to it.

"Operation have a baby" begins with a curry tomorrow night, followed by a (very local) walk on crutches on Saturday. My lovely childminder will be available again to look after DS from Sunday, so I'm gunning for Saturday night into Sunday morning. That would also get me out of enforced socialising with people I hardly know on Sunday, so would be a win all around. But baby may have other ideas.

We got the crib back from D-sis-in-law yesterday and made it up with all the lovely new bedding. It's in our room. Today... nothing yet.

DS was born at 39+2 (equivalent to tomorrow in gestation terms) so anything beyond that is uncharted territory for me. Anyone got any ideas to convince baby to come?

Meanwhile I'm trying to evoke LOS by letting DH take DS for a walk a good hour away and carb loading on home-made flapjacks. :)

teejayem · 28/05/2015 15:04

Oh looking I am so made up for you!! hurrah! can't comment on Cyst, but I did have Cervical erosion and an irritated womble which made me bleed (quite a bit) around 15 weeks. It was instigated by some possibly over enthusiastic shagging. I only had spotting after that around 30 weeks when he kept moving to transverse. The Gynae said to me that sex will probably make me bleed irrespective and it wasn't anything to worry about, but for whatever reason, it's not come back. (and until a couple of weeks ago we were having comedy dtd quite often). Yay for your little bean, so so chuffed!

rhi woohoo! congratulations! That is a fine scan picture! Yeah, it's a bit odd having a carful of things, we ended up taking some stuff out again yesterday (V pillow etc), it's kind of like going on a camping holiday, just with less tents. - And yes, I hear you with the whole seeing someone different each time, esp when you've got a bit of backstory to go through. It's just incredibly frustrating. I've got a community MW appt tomorrow which I'm going to go to anyway, but half expect to be told that I don't need to be there as I've already seen someone at the hospital this week. I just want someone to care about my absent mucus plug as much as I did! :(

pixie wahey for massive balls!

Glad you're feeling a bit better JCandy!

Good luck niff! my mum is a bit like that too, she got a bit eye-rolly when I was telling her about my epidural preferences, and she said 'well I just managed on G&A and popped you out in 3 hours!' - What she conveniently forgets to mention is the fact she was on bedrest for PE being continuously monitored from 34 weeks to term, and stayed in hospital for 7 days afterwards to 'convalesce' Hmm. Oh the 80s!

Lookingforadvice123 · 28/05/2015 15:11

Thank you all! So glad I have the support of this thread it's really helpful.

Congrats rhi a little girl!

tee it definitely wasn't caused by shagging as we have only done it once or twice since getting my bfp over 4 weeks ago! It seems to have turned into brown stained discharge now which im glad not to see red at least! Could be erosion I guess, could just be as in 8 weeks 1 day and would've been around the time af would've been due.

Should I be worried that I'm measuring 2 days behind what I thought I was based on LMP? My cycles were usually regular at 28/29 days but have varied between 27 and 31 once or twice since coming off bc last August.

jellypi3 · 28/05/2015 15:26

we've not DTD at all since getting my BFP, i was worried because of the spotting!

mountaingirl01 · 28/05/2015 15:48

Not at all looking dd by lmp is going ever a rough guess till scan can give a more accurate estimate- there's no telling when you iced or more importantly when you implanted. It's all guess work! And your dates may well change by a couple of days after each scan anyways. I'm still so made up for you. How lovely that we have had a day of good news!
rhi lmao over the double vagina song. I think I need to learn that one to annoy my dh! He freaked me out yesterday by mentioning that as our lo now has her ovaries etc I am not only carrying our child but also our potential grandchildren!

teejayem · 28/05/2015 15:51

X2 Bottles of aptimil & x2 Bottles and Teats in case boobs protest (in labelled bag)

x1 Guess how much I love you bunny mascot (Okay, this is mostly for me, but we'll say it's for him...)

Think that's it. Sounds a lot all written down, but it all fits in one medium holdall, the only things that don't are the pillows and the swimming towel, which are going in Mr Tee's bag. I wanted to group the things I thought we'd need together, hence the frivolous use of zip bags, but as I've listed above, the contents of each bag is on a shared list we've got, so if I ask Mr Tee for lip balm, he'll know which sub-bag it's in, and in all likelihood I'll want some of the other stuff out of there as well. It also means there's not much loose rolling around so if rummaging is required it won't bugger it all up.

There's probably some more food/squash things to add, but hosp has an M&S in the main lobby bit so I can always get additional things there.

RhiannonElward · 28/05/2015 16:10

Awesome list Tee although me being stupid thought you'd listed Tiny Tee as an item to remember to take to the hospital Confused. Good luck with your midwife appointment, but don't forget you've got an army of women very impressed with your mucus plug and if your midwife isn't having any of it then it's absolutely her loss.

Mountain I think that's a lovely thought, and it means we get to take credit for the grandchildren too. Invent your own double vagina song, mine wasn't anything special, but he hasn't heard my Two Arse Ditty or seen my Four Nipple Dance Routine yet, all in good time :)

Lookingforadvice123 · 28/05/2015 16:14

Thank you mountain makes perfect sense as I don't know when I iced!

And good luck niff!

ChatEnOeuf · 28/05/2015 16:40

Looking I'm so pleased to see happy scan news for you.

I miss you guys. Not that you or I actually went anywhere, but still...I miss the chatter, and I don't want to stop talking so if it's ok with you I might say a quiet hello every now and then. And tell you a squirty/sports bottle with tepid water is a labour ward bag essential. Squirt it as you pee, you'll thank me later.

jellypi3 · 28/05/2015 16:40

blimey tee that's a list and a half that is!!
