Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 29th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 47th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: stats

So glad all is OK after your scare yesterday mountain!

Hobbit19 · 28/05/2015 09:38

Has anyone heard from Lemon? Are you okay my dear?

jellypi3 · 28/05/2015 09:39

mountain i might try seven seas after ive finisbed the pregnacare, i wish it would give me arse rain, i'm so (tmi) constipated

Fattycow · 28/05/2015 09:42

bat, we haven't found out for the following reasons:

  • we just don't want to know, as we don't care
  • I think it will help me through labour as I will find out the sex of my much beloved baby at the end
  • sometimes they are wrong! I know a couple who was told girl, painted the room pink, bought a million dresses, bought a pink pram, had a lovely name for a little girl... Only to find out upon birth that she had a willy...
  • it is hard to keep it a secret once you know. Even if you don't want to share it with other people, you might slip up and say the name.
  • I know people who have been disappointed upon finding out during a scan. They then had 20 weeks of feeling a bit disappointed, before the baby arrived and then falling in love with said baby. If you find out upon delivery, you will fall in love there and then, even if it isn't the sex you were hoping for.
Lookingforadvice123 · 28/05/2015 10:21

Thank you for your wishes viroids. I'm not optimistic - didn't have any more bleeding last night but have mild but very definite cramps across my lower back ever since, and this morning there was brown blood rather than red. GP seems to think I'm miscarrying but unfortunately I can't have a scan at EPAU until Monday afternoon. Luckily one of the many private places we were looking at can fit us in this morning so at least we'll have an answer, I'm fully expecting there not to be a heart beat as still no signs of nausea, but I know it will still be horrific seeing it happen.

I really thought I was safe at 8 weeks gone. Had a huge cry yesterday before this happened as I was worried about my lack of symptoms, it's almost like I knew. Gx for you all. Dh and I are keen to try again so I may go back onto the Conception JS thread. Hope the viroids there will have me back.

honeysucklejasmine · 28/05/2015 10:25

Looking I am so sorry your GP is not optimistic. I hope he's wrong! But if he is right, of course come back to the undergrads. Sadly a number of us have had the same journey, up to the grads and back again, so we are well placed to help you. Flowers But we'd of course rather you stay with the grads. Gx for you.

mountaingirl01 · 28/05/2015 10:31

looking that is ludicrous that you can't be seen till Monday! Come over to a&e and we'll refer you. If you are no longer bleeding, I wouldn't lose all hope yet

teejayem · 28/05/2015 10:37

Oh looking I've got everything crossed for you lovely girl, viroids across Freds will be here for you no matter what.

bat they sound like Toni's! I got them quite early on. Bit of a squeezy feeling? They shouldn't hurt, lots of baby wriggling, sex and if I was rubbing stretch mark cream into bump used to make it contract. It's a bit peculiar, but think of it as your uterus having a little gym session to get limbered up for the big push. My Tonis only started to nip a bit about two weeks ago, but I think to start with it was because of just the SIZE of it and the squeeze felt odd. Now I get them if I spend too long on my feet, and get excited that it's the real thing.

I'm trying to think of something nice to get Mr Tee from tiny tee for after birth. Nothing massive, just a keepsake, but so much I've seen (engravings, key rings, photo frames, etc) is personalised and we are still undecided on a name. Maybe I should wait.

gaggiagirl · 28/05/2015 10:43

tee just give him a blow job (the gaggia answer to everything)

looking were here to handhold. Its a shitty time it really is.

RPopz · 28/05/2015 11:17

I'm ok thanks La Smile Mamapopz is not so well at the moment so spending a lot of time travelling to and from hospital and being with her. Quite time consuming and tiring! She's on the mend though Smile

Hoping for the best for you looking x

Tee haven't you dropped yet!? Longest Pregnancy Ever!

Not caught up properly but love again to you all! Thanks

LaLaLaaaa · 28/05/2015 11:37

Looking I'm crossing everything for a positive day for you. Brown is old blood and is v common in early pg. I think it's quite irresponsible of GP to tell you it's MC without you being examined. We are here for you x

Pregnacare guidance says to take with main meal so I would def not take on empty stomach,

I'm disappointed that I didn't hoodwink you all into imagining me as a giselle lookalike!

I can't remember what I thought everyone looked like! I have you all in my head now though as your real life pics.

Glad to hear minimountain is ok, sorry to hear you were in hospital

Tee - blow job!

Bat those sound like Toni's. Mine have stopped in past few weeks

OP posts:
PixieChops · 28/05/2015 12:02

Aww Looking, I also think it's quite irresponsible for the doctor to say that to you. I have everything crossed! X
Sorry to hear you've been in hospital Mountain but glad everything was ok in the end.

Theres nothing worse than thinking theres something wrong. I was referred straight to triage with DD as was told during a midwife appointment that they couldn't feel any movement and couldn't hear a heartbeat..... Got to hospital and they found the heartbeat straight awayHmm pointless worry, especially when I told the midwife that I'd felt baby move when she was doing the examination. So health professionals do get it wrong.
Just took DD into the local village and to the library.. We didn't take the pram and thought her reins/ fairy backpack was a good idea. It was not- she just wanted to run in every direction but the direction we needed to go in!. Trying to juggle a very excited toddler whilst 36 weeks pregnant and sorting out a bit of shopping was an absolute nightmare. We nearly left with a "slippery floor" sign Hmm

batfish · 28/05/2015 12:25

Aww looking don't give up hope - would never want to get your hopes up and set you up for a fall but I don't see how the GP can say that without checking you over. I never had any symptoms either and it panicked me no end but all was fine so that doesn't mean anything. I can't believe there are saying Monday, surely someone should see you before then - I would do what mountain says and go to A&E. I used to work in A&E so wouldn't advocate going there for non emergencies but I think this counts as you will go out of your mind by Monday, you need to know either way. Hope you are OK, what a stressful time and the last thing you need is to not be able to get an appointment anyway.

Ooh the Tonis - that all sounds a bit real. Not sure if that's what it is as it can sometimes be hard for quite a while, is that normal? And quite often? Actually though tee now you mention it there have been a couple of occasions where I have had very mild squeezy feelings like pressure is building up or something - assumed it was baby moving around. It's all very weird!

teejayem · 28/05/2015 12:26

Aww popz Love to mamapopz and yes, I feel like I've been pregnant forever. It reminds me of that last couple of weeks of your final year in school. I'm on my ball as I type!

Pregnacare made me so constipated, along with the codeine, I actually stopped taking it about 30 weeks...

So, blowjob then! ... Not anal?! not a fucking chance

Lookingforadvice123 · 28/05/2015 12:33

It's good news from me viroids!

Went to the private scan convinced the baby would be gone, combination of the bleeding, cramps, lack of nausea/sore boobs. Plus what the gp said!

Lay down on the bed and the sonographer did her thing, almost straight away we heard the heartbeat! It was so amazing. She said everything looks great with the baby, good heart rate etc, healthy looking sac. She looked around the sac and couldn't find any reason for the bleed so said its most likely to be a cervical erosion. She said I have a 6cm "simple" cyst on my left ovary which could be causing the cramps. She said not to worry as it wouldn't effect the baby but to tell them when I go for my EPAU scan on Monday as they may want to keep an eye on it. She said of course no one can ever guarantee that you won't miscarry but that everything she saw today looked great.

The sheer elation and relief from being so low was amazing.

What do we think viroids, anyone had one of these cysts before? Can't find much about it online. She assured me it wasn't related in anyway to PCO. Also really hope the bleeding stops and the cramps as they're still there over my lower back and a bit on the front. And cervical erosion, anyone? I've heard of them before as I think a friend had one at a routine smear.

Trying not to worry but it's hard! They do say that the risk drops significantly when they see a heartbeat around 8 weeks don't they? I thought I was 8 weeks 3 days based on LMP but I'm measuring 8 weeks 1 day.

honeysucklejasmine · 28/05/2015 12:40

Star Hooray!

batfish · 28/05/2015 12:45

Oh my goodness looking I am SO pleased to hear that - I remember the relief at my early scan and I hadn't even had anything to make me think anything had gone wrong other than my overactive imagination so to have been as convinced as you were and especially after what the GP said you must be so ecstatic! Absolutely brilliant news, it's made my afternoon Smile And yes you're absolutely right that mc risk is dramatically decreased after 8 weeks.

LaLaLaaaa · 28/05/2015 12:55

Yaaaaaaaaay!!!! Great news!

I think cysts popping and causing bleeding is quite common as I've heard a few people to the same. Try not to worry this is a good sign :)

jellypi3 · 28/05/2015 13:02

yay looking great news :) :) :)

gaggiagirl · 28/05/2015 13:10

looking isn't that just lovely news! Yaaaaaay! Really pleased for you.

RhiannonElward · 28/05/2015 13:12

Looking that is bloody brilliant news, I am so pleased and relieved for you. I read the thread with held breath, honestly.

Tee you are so organised it scares me, and it's so exciting to have everything good to go, is it weird driving around with a soon-to-be-full car seat in the back? It makes me want to jump up and down and it's not even me Grin

Anyway, I had the scan. Placenta is high (yay!) and it's a little baby girl! Here she is, all pretty like :)

As for the consultant, she said enough terrifying things to have dp think I'm stupid for even attempting a vbac, but I think she's wrong. We have a Birth Choices clinic to go to in July to get as much information as we can before we give them a final decision on the birth at about 28 weeks. I am going to take stats and research with me next time, I am being told different things all over the place and I have to put some stuff together to show the next consultant. I still haven't seen my actual consultant yet and it would be nice if I only have to persuade one person, not someone new at every appointment.

Hobbit19 · 28/05/2015 13:12

YAY looking! I was being all positive for you in my post earlier but I was so worried for you!!! I'm so glad everything is okay. Put your feet up and try to chill out if you can. Well done baby looking! Smile

jellypi3 · 28/05/2015 13:13

yay for a girl rhi :) cute scan pic there

Jcandy · 28/05/2015 13:18

That's excellent news looking I'm so pleased for you Smile

Beautiful scan pic rhi

jellypi3 · 28/05/2015 13:25

I am so crampy today!! Not overly worried yet but just so so crampy!
