Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 29th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 47th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: stats

Imminent viroids....do me a favour....weigh yourself, then once baby is out get weighed again. I'm asking for scientific purposes not because I've bet my sister its around a stone loss on 'birth day' and she reckons its 2 stone Smile thankyou for your kind assistance.

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 03/06/2015 19:22

Depends on the birth gaggia. I made the mistake of weighing myself 2/3 days after DS was born and I had lost 7lb, which was less than DS weighed, never mind the placenta and waters etc!

For context, I had a EMCS and had been pumped full of all sorts while on the drip. I also got milk early and had mega full boobs. So immediate weight loss much less than expected in my case. I don't (yet) have experience of using the conventional exit tho.

Exciting contraction-type things have all ceased for now and I'm left with mega nausea. Lying down in sunny bedroom because that's all I can face. :(

ChatEnOeuf · 03/06/2015 19:24

Ga I can provide an approximation - I've lost 1st 6lb between two days pre delivery and seven days post. Half helpful for your 'study', yeah?

Hobbit19 · 03/06/2015 19:36

Flowers for you Before xx

WilHarlot · 03/06/2015 19:38

I wish your sister was right Gaggia. Sadly not in my case.

Jcandy · 03/06/2015 19:39

Cheering on you viroids who are hopefully nearing the end. Pom poms ready! Sorry things seemed to have slowed down before, hope they pick up again soon.

I'm sorry that I just come on here and moan all the time. Wish I felt differently. Just been crying at the thought of making food to take to work with me tomorrow. My day off today has consisted of me lying down and on/off sleeping. My friend came over for a catch up for an hour which was nice but I went to bed soon after she left. I just don't know how I'm gonna get through the next 5 days at work. I really feel like I should cope better. Then I think maybe I'm just making it all up and I'm not really that tired if I could just stop thinking how tired I was maybe I'd deal with it better. Then I worry about my mat pay coz I need to work as many unsocial hours as I can in the next 2 months to make my pay as high as possible so I can't afford to take any time off. Then i think I should just be able to cope with it then I cry coz I'm so tired. Again sorry for moaning. It just helps to write it down

Hobbit19 · 03/06/2015 19:48

Flowers for you too JC, I totally understand how you feel but you are NOT making it up, you CANNOT 'think' yourself better and I don't really think you should be at work. I think you should hopefully be feeling better soon and should be able to boost your hours up then but I think you should not be going I'm for 5 days this week. You are coping just fine wonderful lady, you are strong and you are growing a baby. Don't beat yourself up. Xxxx

batfish · 03/06/2015 19:49

Aww jc hope you feel better soon, I don't have any useful advice other than hang in there and it will get better, sorry you're feeling so horrid Sad

jellypi3 · 03/06/2015 19:51

:( jc sorry your feeling so shit. I hope you feel better soon. Just remember you are growing a mother fucking baby in you! That's amazing!!

I'm so gassy and bloated today!

gaggiagirl · 03/06/2015 20:09

chat and before that's interesting. I shall of course make note of it in my scientific journals and not at all go 'ner ner' to my sister. What was your loss wil?
With DD I didn't weigh myself for 10 weeks before she was born so I've no idea really.
JC oh you poor love. No words of wisdom but you have my total sympathy.

Lookingforadvice123 · 03/06/2015 20:30

jc Flowers so sorry you're struggling this much lovely. Agree with others though you can't magic yourself better, we all know people get different variations of ms and first trimester symptoms, and you have obviously got them bad and are clearly suffering. It's not pathetic at all I don't know how you're doing it, I'm nowhere near as sick as you and in finding it really, really difficult. You shouldn't be in work, you should be signed off sick and allowed to sleep for most of the day with your dp topping up your water/snack levels. You have the rest of your pregnancy to work as many shifts as possible xx

teejayem · 03/06/2015 20:31

Emergency eclairs for you candy xxx don't worry about moaning, it's what we're here for and its so hard in early days when you don't have many people in real life you can talk to! (And God knows I've done a LOT of moaning here!!)

I went mildly bananas on the baby clothes front and then stopped myself. It's a slippery slope. Then I went mad for funky Muslins. And now I can see myself getting sucked into the sling thing as well... I need to stop peeping in at the graduate grads, they are a bad influence!

I also read about that paracetamol thing pud. It's a bit of a catch 22 because I will struggle on my ball of I don't take anything as it niggles my back, but on the flip side. I felt like we were getting somewhere earlier, and just like before it seems to have fizzled completely. Still a bit queasy, although I am forcing down some Mac and cheese and a big lemonade and have done laps of the garden....

dulce the one show is dreadful. I agree! Actually the Beeb as a whole is (no offence to anyone that works there!) but my experience of them using footage and pictures of mine from Texas and Oklahoma, a couple of years ago was not especially great. And they don't pay, whereas the U.S. Channels and Channel 4 do. Channel 4 are good to work with, but they usually want whole compilations, which is easy to do when you're doing proper hardcore tornado noodling on the U.S. plains & are pretty much guaranteed pretty shots, but less easy to do when the weather is so hit and miss here.

Purpleball · 03/06/2015 20:40

Awww sending unmumsnetty hugs to those who are struggling. Hope you all feel better soon. I did have much less nausea and tiredness about 15 weeks.
Occasionally the nausea returns but it's shortlived.

Imminent viroids hope you get some action soon.

I made DH take me out for tea as I had a long crap day. Managed not to cry at work today so that's a bonus.

JC I've been known to sit in the car at lunchtime and have a 20 min power nap. It makes a big difference. Any longer and I feel rough so I set the alarm on my phone.

Jcandy · 03/06/2015 20:46

Thanks everyone. I'm gonna go in tomorrow and see how I do. My nausea has most definitely improved. I'm still constantly nauseous but I'm not throwing up every day now. The people I've spoken to in real life just don't seem to believe me (DP does but then he's seen me more often). They say but you seem Ok at the moment but I only see them in the 2 hours of the day where I kind of feel alright. If people say it'll go soon I just feel annoyed coz, although I'm sure it will, it doesn't feel like that right now. My friend even said to me at least you know you're not ill. I had to try and calmly explain that even though pregnancy wasn't an illness I still felt 'ill'. Not sure she got it

deeplybaffled · 03/06/2015 20:51

jc -feel free to moan. I never really understood the tiredness thing before, thinking "but everyone gets tired!" Once pregnant -and for me, the period round the end of the first tri, start of the second, was the worst for tiredness - i definitely got the idea! It will improve, honestly, but the key thing is not to beat yourself up about something you can't help in the meantime.

good luck for tee, cym and before - thinking of you all. Is it 2 for team willy and 1 for team filly?

gaggiagirl · 03/06/2015 20:51

I miss food! I'm on day 2 of the diet. I reckon my spd should improve if I decrease my mass (that's science talk for be less lardy).
Even if I just maintain for the next 18 weeks then I win. I need to do something. I can't walk properly without crying and pissing myself and its frankly embarrassing.

gaggiagirl · 03/06/2015 20:54

Love teams willy and filly! deeply what team are we? Team .......... I want to say yellow but it doesn't rhyme.

DulcetMoans · 03/06/2015 20:57

I'm still scared of buying stuff pud! Only got the pram this weekend as was scared it would come early and have to live at the hospital!

The friends and family I ever asked about it was about 1 stone to 1.5 stone gaggia. That's what I'm hoping for now anyway! How are you managing to diet?!

JC I am so sorry you feel this way. I am certain you are not making it up, you can't help it if you are ill. Doesn't help the work situation. Can you ask for some kind of alternative working arrangement for a bit? To get you through?

I'll add that to my list of reasons to not like The One Show then tee. I guess its good visibility for the images though? Can you sell them on if they have been used on the telly or does that make them less attractive?

pretzelpieces · 03/06/2015 21:10

Whoop whoop! tee and before hope things get moving soon (and that the sickness shifts)!

pretzelpieces · 03/06/2015 21:10

Also jc Thanks Sorry you're feeling so rotten

Purpleball · 03/06/2015 21:13

Gaggia team nilly?

Purpleball · 03/06/2015 21:16

Ga what sort of plan are you following?
I've lost weight because I'm not drinking and was overweight before.

pretzelpieces · 03/06/2015 21:33

ga team untilly? Cause you won't find out until...?

Hobbit19 · 03/06/2015 21:45

Ha ha!!

deeplybaffled · 03/06/2015 21:59

Liking team untilly! Was trying to think of something myself and my best shout was team silly, on the grounds many people think it's most odd that i want a surprise, but think untilly is better??
