Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 28th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 46th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

Thanks ga. Yeah anyone else too please do let me know what you didn't need!

Lemondrizzletwunt · 23/05/2015 14:31

La how funny about you and Before! Pud and me have discovered we live half an hour apart so are hoping to meet up for pizza next week. We have both promised not to turn out to be crazy axe-murderers.

ChatEnOeuf · 23/05/2015 14:40

Ah loving the JS mini-meets! Widdly and I met for waffles a few weeks ago - I'll extend the same invite to anyone else finding themselves over here :)

Useless purchases...
That BF scarf thing (to be fair, I didn't buy it).
Pram parasol
Socks
Sock-ons
All of the bottles
All of the dummies
Bath thermometer (came free with the nail clippers Hmm )

Boooo why can't anyone live near me!! Sad The closest I've come across on MN is Bahrain and KSA on the October bus, rubbish!

Pisghetti · 23/05/2015 15:17

That is an awesome dream Tee! I go to a breastfeeding support group (aka booby group) and MrPis did speculate whether we had competitions along those lines.

Useless purchases - only scratch mitts this time. I used them all the time with DS but now babygros have them built in. I've used socks (with sock ons which I had as a gift - genius!) but not shoes. Last time around I regretted the nappy bin. I just have a little lidded bin in the nursery now which I empty every morning. I use the changing table all the time despite considering it a useless purchase previously. I got the hensvik (sp?) which reverts to a bookcase when you don't need the changing bit any more. I've heard great things about jumperoos and managed to pick one up for £15 Smile although I found last night it's missing a piece - the seller is going to look for it Hmm

PixieChops · 23/05/2015 16:16

Cheers for all your support and help everyone Smile hugs for all!! Xx it's nice that you lot don't think I'm some benefit scrounger. I've lodged a complaint about the man (for giving false information and making me go to sign docs in the first place) and the horrible cow of a woman who made me feel worthless when I got there! I should get a letter in 2 weeks to tell me the outcome.
I've calmed down a lot now a I've managed to extend my EESA until babies here and then hopefully the top ups from child tax credits and working tax credits should help. It's not like o don't want to work, I was looking for work the entire time I was pregnant, just nobody wanted to bloody hire me because I was pregnant. Their excuses for not hiring where they needed someone permanent and I would be classed as temporary. So yeah even in this day and age pregnant women are still discriminated against.
Tee hope things start moving for you soon!
Sounds lovely all these JSers meeting up! Any of you live in the Cheshire area?

PixieChops · 23/05/2015 16:21

Useless purchases for us were ridiculous fluffy pink tutus and pink frilly dresses. My baby was bald and resembled a gargoyle, those kind of clothes looked ridiculous on her! lso I got bought a breast pump even though I was formula feeding. I took it back and got a steriliser instead and some more formula. My stepdad was very keen that I breast feed because of the benefits, unfortunately I was unable to for various reasons (baby being tongue tied, exhaustion, not being able to produce much milk so midwives were topping baby up with formula anyway etc)

Hobbit19 · 23/05/2015 17:54

Raspberry magnums are half price in Tesco!!! (They were sold out though so did not get to try one.) Good news though, chocolate is back on the menu so I got some salted caramel chocolate icecream (tescos own). Highly recommended.

PixieChops · 23/05/2015 18:01

Ooo Pud that sounds divine!! Still yet to try raspberry magnums. I feel I'm missing out.

Purpleball · 23/05/2015 18:06

Pixie I'm in yorkshire. I think Pud is too.

How fab that people are meeting up Smile

teejayem · 23/05/2015 19:38

Naaah, nothing happening. Lots of quite thick white/yellow cm but I'm not reading anything into it. And I walked around a garden centre, and squeezy pains are still there but nowhere near as harsh as before, just a hey foof. Decided no labour today, so I'm having a glass of wine. Mr tee is at his mums, (totes got out of dinner) I'm considering ordering pizza. I picked up the most beautiful petunias have turned into gardening psycho they are called banoffee pie and are purple with yellow star middles. Will be furiously potting tomorrow.
Love your gold top boobs chat! I quite like the idea of competitive pumping, can we add to the Olympics?
Excellent find in the half price magnums! I will add to my tesco order. dulce I've got a DustBuster, will bring with eclairs.

teejayem · 23/05/2015 19:41

A hey foof = achey foof. My vagina isn't waving to get attention or anything.

jellypi3 · 23/05/2015 19:58

tee really hope it's not too long for you now!

Had cramps today and a slight backache so have been on pants watch. Are cramps fairly normal?

DulcetMoans · 23/05/2015 20:09

I liked a hey foof tee, good description of fanny twinge! Enjoy pizza night.

Cramps are normal jelly, and will last a while probably. Only worry if there's bleeding and pain. Take it easy.

EUROVISION!! Smile We loves it!

Hobbit19 · 23/05/2015 20:22

Unfortunately Jelly, quite painful cramps are normal. Mine were worst in the evening (and I thought I was going to die at one point after an orgasm) but they settled down after a few weeks, I found that a warm hot water bottle helped. Big Os are back on now, thank the actual Lord

Pixie, sadly I've been exiled to the South :-(

Loving the pictures of double rainbows over Dublin tonight, how awesome is that?!

jellypi3 · 23/05/2015 21:29

Thanks folks they have been a bit sore today but no bleeding thankfully. I fell asleep during Eurovision so sent myself to bed :(

PixieChops · 23/05/2015 21:33

Boo Pud!
I have nobody to watch the eurovision with... Cricket widow as usual on a Saturday Hmm my mates will all be using the bank holiday to get steaming no doubt!
Oh dear about achey foof, I keep getting weird pains in mine so bad that I can't stand up and it takes my breath away. I'm assuming it's just pest 2 lying on a nerve but I'm not sure. Got an appointment with the midwife on Wednesday so I'll ask her. Tuesday is a big day where I cry and demand an ELCS Confused

PixieChops · 23/05/2015 21:35

Aww Jelly, hope they pass soon, you can take paracetamol if it gets really bad but you are better off with hot water bottles/ wheat bags. I still get them now and again and I'm 35 weeks pregnant.pregnancy is not fun!

gaggiagirl · 23/05/2015 21:36

Hallo dulcet this is gaggia calling! Haaaaaaaaa #eurojoke

LaLaLaaaa · 23/05/2015 21:36

I'm totally congratulating myself on having decided against all the pointless purchases you guys have listed! I even picked up a parasol the other day, contemplated it and then put it back! I have some 2nd hand scratch mitts but didn't buy any. Also talked dh out of nappy bin he wanted to buy.

One of the girls in my nct class was eating a pink magnum today. We will be friends I'm sure!

Course was long but good. They were very nice. As well as labour we covered slings and holding baby. She showed me how to put on my caboo, hooray! One less thing to worry about.

Just catching up....

DulcetMoans · 23/05/2015 21:45

Good evening MN, thanks for a wonderful show, dulcets 12 points go to... gaggia!

Do you see the NCT group again la?

LaLaLaaaa · 23/05/2015 21:45

Jelly cramps are normal - they are your embryo implanting and your womb stretching getting ready for baby to start growing. Can be quite uncomfortable and worse when tired or dehydrated. Make sure you drink lots of water and get rest.

Not watching Eurovision- I'm a big Scrooge I hate it!

Fantastic result for Ireland today!

Love the gold top boobs!

I feel like a bit of a talkative parrot in nct but I seem to know answers to everything teacher asks and others say they don't know. So I'm looking like a know it all! Quite often I just didn't say I knew answer coz I thought they'd think I'm a nob show off. But it's because of all you lot! I've picked up so much information from you all that other people don't seem to know. Everything from when to call hospital to pain relief options to stretchy wraps versus baby bjorn. It's quite disturbing how much I knew compared to the others but it was nice to be able to reassure them that they'd be ok or something was normal.

Dulcet - I'll remember that next time you want a foot rub - mean...

LaLaLaaaa · 23/05/2015 21:48

Nil points!

Purpleball · 23/05/2015 21:59

I'm not watching Eurovision either. Can't stand it!
True Lies is on E4 so I'm watching it for the millionth time.
DH has plugged in his headphones in disgust and is now annoying me by breathing heavily. Seriously why do men breathe so fecking loud?

Pud, you're a deserter Hmm

Anyone else a bit disheartened by these normal mummy blogs? I found them funny and helpful at first to know that toddlers are tiny wankers and so on. But the more I read, the more scared I am of this tiny person that's going to take over my life and suck me dry and I'll never sleep again. It's quite frankly terrifying and ramping my anxiety levels up high Confused
The womanly art of breastfeeding didn't make things any better. I though being informed would help but it's telling me how I'm going to go wrong by not having a natural birth when the baby is ready
What to expect when you're expecting isn't that great either Sad
