Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 27th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

I'm so sorry pixie - I had all of my grandparents until I was 27 so we've been very lucky to have them for so long but it's horrid when they go. Hope you are OK.

What to Expect app is telling me that baby is the size of a tomato. A 15cm tomato?! Where the hell do they go shopping??

PixieChops · 11/05/2015 16:50

Thank you everyone for your condolences, it's for the best really but doesnt stop it from hurting unfortunately.

La I don't think I would've remained that calm with some pillock of a woman trying to squash my bump! I would've probably squashed her face..with my foot Grin
Purple sounds like you've had a lovely day Smile

I had a scan to check a heart murmur as well today (it's all going on at Pixie Towers!) well I was told there's no immediate worry so just have to wait for the results to come back now.

Went to the library this morning with DD and OH so they could pick up some books, was quite nice actually as OH really likes reading but he's never bothered with the library before, now he's asking me to reserve him books all the time and DD loves going anyway as we always read to her.
I feel exhausted and would love a nap but DD is being a nuisance and OH has fallen asleep watching cricket. Yes it is THAT boring. He plays it all day Saturday and then wants to watch it at any opportunity! Yawn!!

PixieChops · 11/05/2015 16:52

Lmao Bat!!! GrinGrin I don't have any apps this time. Basically baby is a fatty and I feel like I'm in the film Alien as he stretches me sideways and it feels like I'm going to come apart! Not very comfortable.

LaLaLaaaa · 11/05/2015 17:29

Is it one of those beef tomatoes bat?

Mine weighs a coconut!

LaLaLaaaa · 11/05/2015 17:47

Purple that's lovely about the beach trip Grin what a difference a year makes.

I'm in travelodge and I've stripped off and am lying in a star shape on the bed like a big pregnant starfish. Amazing

Purpleball · 11/05/2015 18:00

That's a lovely mental image La lol

I think the fruit/vegetable thing is the weight. Mine is 25cm and a mango. I've never seen a mango that big!

OP posts:
LaLaLaaaa · 11/05/2015 18:06

Yup I thought I'd share!

batfish · 11/05/2015 18:38

I'm not sure it's the weight either because I've graduated from sweet potato and that would be heavier than a tomato? Odd. I'll just go with the length and weight it tells me rather than trying to compare to fruit and veg! Either way I feel like 15cm is pretty massive for a foreign body inside me that I can't feel!

teejayem · 11/05/2015 19:08

Lots of love pixie

la that is a brilliant image. I vegged about earlier in a sports bra and boxer shorts playing xbox like a little buddha. We actually have some buddha things in the house, there's def a photo opportunity there.
That woman on the train sounds like a bellend, I absolutely abhorred the train when I was still commuting. People just don't think of anyone outside of their little bubbles sometimes. Good that that other commuters were supportive tho! :)
We've got a giant pasta bake for tea and I'm going to have a nice glass of Merlot with it. I was gifted a bottle of quite fancy fizz from a shitty client at work before I went off, and it's been sitting taunting me in the fridge for MONTHS. Mr Tee also has some client Fizz, although I suspect I'll have three sips and be totally shit faced.
Bouncing on my ball is making baby wriggle about, this is good, right? Although it's giving me a bit of the ol' fanny daggers, I want him to be leaning on the exit door when I see the consultant on Weds. :)

Fattycow · 11/05/2015 19:10

pixie, I'm so sorry for your loss!

la, what a shithead lady! And why did you tell me I'm 9th! It's still ages until I'm due, I can't be 9th on the list!

batfish · 11/05/2015 19:18

What big stuff do I need for baby? We have a load of stuff we are shipping from the UK (left it there 6 years ago when we left the UK 'for 2 years') so we're finally shifting it. Things here are a lot more expensive - for example a friend has a baby bjorn bouncer which is nearly 200 quid here but less than 130 on Amazon! So I was thinking we should buy the expensive stuff online and get it shipped over with everything else. We already got buggy, pram, car seat etc when we visited UK a couple of weeks ago so what else would be worth getting savings on? Bouncer....anything else? Do they use play mat/gym things when little or just when a bit older?

Toast85 · 11/05/2015 19:38

La i hope you gave her evil looks all the way on the train.

Bat u know what you mean, I keep looking at how big 13cm is and thinking how weird that it's already that big and I have no idea it's there (apart from the obvious expansion) and can't feel it moving!

Not sure what else you might want/need- unless something like a snuzpod?

batfish · 11/05/2015 19:46

Is a snuzpod a sleeping by the bed thing? My friend has a 3 month old so says that she is going to lend us her crib that her baby goes in next to her bed as she thinks hers will be out of it by then. So probably won't bother with buying something unless she changes her mind.

Cymraes17 · 11/05/2015 20:21

4 days of work to go! 33 days (ish) till i pop.
Have been having BH quite often today. Had 4 during dinner, we had pizza so dinner didnt take long. DH keeps checking that they are BH and not actual labour Hmm
Going to bed early tonight, feel soo tired.

WilHarlot · 11/05/2015 20:22

They use play gyms pretty early on. Maybe just some baby toys and teethers and stuff? Thinking of the toys you can hang on buggy/carseat and a few things to grab hold of. Mobile or something similar? sleeping bags? Not that any of these are big purchases so you might be able to get them just as cheaply where you are. I guess if you want a jumperoo or maybe a baby carrier. Can't think of much else. Have you got somewhere for baby to sleep during the day downstairs or are you all on one level?

Purpleball · 11/05/2015 20:25

Bat have you got monitors? They can be quite expensive

OP posts:
DulcetMoans · 11/05/2015 21:17

Thought you were telling me I was 6th chat - Phew! Im 11th so still double digits - all fine! Told DH about the stats and he thinks it's weird like a 'baby production line'. Think he admires the organisation though!

I am also loving the pregnant starfish image la, are you comfy?

I've barely got myself sorted so not sure what help I can be bat but I'm thinking if there is somewhere for it to sleep at night, sit in the day, method of transport (walking and driving), clothes to wear and clean up items (muslins and nappies) then it will be fine. I am not doing that well on that list!

tee - pasta bake for tea buddies! Keep your wine though, yuck! Red wine is for grown ups. I would like a Buddha photo op viewing if it happens please! Bump update photo time anyway for everyone?

So sorry about your loss pixie. Good news about the happy scan though, that is positive at least.

gaggiagirl · 11/05/2015 21:40

Sorry about your grandad pixie xxx

LaLaLaaaa · 11/05/2015 21:45

Oooh it was mega comfy! Gave everything a good airing too Grin

Been out for a nice meal by myself - had a massive ice cream sundae with whipped cream yum yum.

Bat in terms of big things - cot, crib, car seat, buggy. Monitor can be expensive but they sell them on sale on Amazon. I got a jungle play may for a tenner second hand and a bouncer £15 also second hand, both for putting baby in downstairs. Carrier was quite expensive I guess.

Otherwise though everything is quite reasonable to buy. Ooh - mobile? My bro is buying ours for us.

Loving the image of bra and boxers! I've just discovered my boobs have leaked. Must remember to use pads tomorrow before I stand up to do this presentation! Otherwise it could be a bit embarrassing.

We've not heard from lemon or gliding for a while. Are you lurking ladies? There don't seem to many people left on the list, been a bit of a flurry of babies!

How are the new mums doing? Splodge, kato, could?

Before - are you lurking?

Only 4 days cym, hooray!!!

LaLaLaaaa · 11/05/2015 21:45

Mat not may

gaggiagirl · 11/05/2015 21:46

Today at work I was offered an opal fruit (that's a starburst to you youngsters) ooh says I, I love opal fruits.
Supervisor pipes up "gaggia should you be eating that?" Shit I said am I not allowed them? I panicked in case they were a banned to preggers food for a moment.
No gaggia, says supervisor. I mean should you be eating sweets with a belly that size? You look like you're having triplets you should really lay off opal fruits.........

Sad

Cunt.

WilHarlot · 11/05/2015 21:47

How have I missed those minion things La? They look like something I could horse quite easily.

teejayem · 11/05/2015 21:48

Yes! dulcet Deffo More bump pix needed! I will do a bumpdate, been 4 weeks since my last one! but probably on Wednesday as am out for birthday dooo and will look mildly more presentable vain it's sil's birthday and we are going for curry. mil will be there too so I've already said no baby talk. It's sil's day and I would be peeved if the tables were turned.
I don't know if bouncing on my ball was a good idea, my back aches! And baby is going bananas. that might be the bar of popping candy chocolate
We're doing foof massage tonight. I don't find it very comfortable or sexy but after watching some horrifying birth videos on YouTube this afternoon, I feel like I should at least attempt it again. Mr tee now thinks he's on a promise.....

Have you got bedding yet bat? What about bath/bath rest, parasol for buggy...?

Jcandy · 11/05/2015 21:55

Ignore them ga! Eat all the opal fruits you want!

Can I ask some advice viroids? It's my good friends hen party in September. I'll be 27 weeks and don't know what I'll be up for..... It's going to be an afternoon tea party followed by takeaway and getting ready then cocktail making party and night on the town, then brunch the next day. Does that sound feasible? Don't want to pay for stuff if I'm not likely to be able to go. can you tell I've no idea what I'm gonna be like during pregnancy

gaggiagirl · 11/05/2015 21:59

jc can you just do the afternoon tea? I would just do that but if it was me a night on the tiles is not something I would enjoy at 27 weeks. I'm going on a hen do in July and just going to the meal, not the rest of it.
