Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 27th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

Aww cute!! I still can't equate that there is an actual, real life baby inside me.

LaLaLaaaa · 07/05/2015 12:08

I have stuff leaking from every orifice of my body, I'm knackered and I can't see my bits to shave.

Romance is off the cards completely in the La house!

batfish · 07/05/2015 12:49

He would bloody love a blow job but I am really not a fan - I think because I think I'm doing a crap job!! Maybe I should make the effort though Hmm I think I just need to man up and shag the poor guy more often - but then when we were TTC I thought he would be well chuffed with the extra action but then I got complaints that the shagging felt too functional! I couldn't cope with the thought of putting on a porn show 4 nights a week so sometimes it had to be quite quickie. It's exhausting I tell you! We do have date nights but they usually end with me being massively over full from dinner (hubby still happy to shag when full to bursting) or super tired (hubby still happy to shag when tired) - basically he is always up for it and I rarely am, I need to just do it anyway I think before baby comes along Confused

batfish · 07/05/2015 12:50

Ahh splodge I will check out the pic later when I'm on a non work computer and colleagues can't see I'm on MN!

Purpleball · 07/05/2015 13:39

Bat I can't be arsed either, we've managed about 4x in 20 weeks. I do need to make the effort, its usually weekend mornings for me when I'm not knackered or full of food Smile

La that sounds delightful Envy

Splodge well done you, he's gorgeous Flowers

Glad you're feeling a bit better kato sounds like he was being an eejit and just not thinking through how it will be with a newborn again. Sometimes I don't think they think things through in their heads properly; my bil spent his whole paternity finishing off building work in their garden - my sis got really upset thinking he didn't want to spend time with them, yet he said to me that he really wanted to get things done then so that when back at work he could spend all his weekends with them -- and they complain that we think they should be mind readers! Hmm

Great news splodge what a gorgeous bundle...now tell me how you managed to get away without a torn fanjo!

Enjoy your meal tonight niff I'm very jealous! We are eating out tonight but nowhere as fancy - just the village local after submitting our votes! Sitting in my office on an admin day; my colleague is googling who she should vote for, and I am looking at the pub menu - obviously my priorities are in order.

bat we haven't dtd a lot this pregnancy, at first I was too scared, then too tired and now I think he is too scared! I had to initiate this weekend. I wouldn't say that romance is dead though - if anything he is being more attentive and we are going out for dinner a lot more because I'm just so tired. We have weekly dance lessons as well (have done for years) which I would recommend to anyone as a date night!

My bones ache today. Like really just hurt!

rm00054 · 07/05/2015 16:12

Yay, Splodge! You did a gorgeous baby!

All caught up on the Fred now after totally neglecting my work all morning (that's gonna come back to bite me later!)

Happy for all those who have had good scans this week.

Thinking of you today Kato! Eagerly awaiting news of the next js baby Grin

I have been given some raspberry leaf tea from a friend. It's supposed to tone your uterus to help when in labour. Has rlt been discussed here? What do I do with it and when?! (I'm 33 weeks, is it too early to start drinking it?)

rm00054 · 07/05/2015 16:14

(meant tomorrow, Kato)

WilHarlot · 07/05/2015 16:53

I like your priorities Mountain.

Think you can start drinking it now rm and build up the amount towards the end of your pregnancy. There are lots of contraindications though so make sure none apply to you before drinking it (think it's things like c-sections and family history of particular cancers).

Will visit website to see photo splodge. Hope you get home soon.

Purpleball · 07/05/2015 17:16

Good priorities Mountain

We've left the house and an hour down the road I realise I've left trainers and sandals at home! I'll have to manage without or buy new Smile

Have just found a mamas and papas cotbed for £40 on local fb site. It includes mattress and sheets but I'll prob bin them. Told my bro we don't want the 7th hand cot. I'll pick it up when we get back Grin

Splodge hope you're home now and not too sore

Thanks for all the kind comments. Just been discharged so off home very soon. Yippee! Can't wait to introduce Jem to his big brother. It's gonna be emotional!!

Toast85 · 07/05/2015 17:35

Bat if you find out how to do romance let me know, I think I lack the romance gene. I don't really get the whole hearts and teddies romance thing. Don't get me wrong I love being surprised with a bunch of flowers/chocs etc and love a good date night because I get a nice meal but I feel like I don't really 'get' being romantic and if I try it feels forced. I think DH understands me now though and isn't too offended anymore. I just try to make sure he feels loved!

I had 16wk mw appt today- lovely heart beat and first time we've heard it. 150bpm, no idea if it was a horse or train though. I thought horse, DH thought train. Anyway, it was there and it was fab. Otherwise v quick appointment and nothing out of the ordinary to report.

Toast85 · 07/05/2015 17:36

Congrats Splodge, have a great first night at home! Is Jem his RL name? Or short for something? It's great!

LaLaLaaaa · 07/05/2015 18:36

Awwww splodge he is beautiful!!! Look at his wee face :)

rm popz and wil are the experts on raspberry leaf tea! I remember tonnes of chat about it last year :D

kato tomorrow is your day - woohoo! Good luck lovely, let us know how you get on.

toast hooray for feeling the heartbeat!

Are any of you ladies further on a bit freaked out by the movement? I've got random arms and legs coming out of my belly and it's giving me the willies...

Lookingforadvice123 · 07/05/2015 18:46

Congratulations splodge he's beautiful!!! You must be so in loveFlowers

So I just got turfed out of an "ante/post natal" yoga class at my leisure centre for being under 12 weeks preg Angry the teacher was adamant I should do NOTHING until after 12 weeks, which is so conflicting as I'm supposed to be going to a big yoga charity event on Sunday, which is organised by Yoga Fever, a well known yoga company, and they have said its fine for me to come and just make sure I go at my own pace.

So frustrating as I've been given such conflicting advice, the 3 class/spin instructors I've spoken to have said its fine to continue with spin, so long as I don't over heat and go at my own pace. I also thought it was generally known that you can carry on with exercise that you're used to. But then I know a few people on here have been told not to do that kind of exercise, and this yoga teacher today has made me quite anxious. I can't give up exercise altogether as I'll go mad, but feel I'm so limited on what I can do Sad

gaggiagirl · 07/05/2015 18:59

kato I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. I'm very excited for you x

WilHarlot · 07/05/2015 19:05

I'm pretty sure athletes keep training whilst they're pregnant Looking. It's probably like any pregnancy issue - there is no definitive answer because it's unethical to do studies. I had to wait until second trimester to start the yoga class - it's probably because mc is more likely in first tri and they don't want their class to be cited as a possible cause, even if that's improbable.

I'm not a rlt expert - maybe it was zyla or Min - I tried it in first pg and thought it tasted foul. I just remembered that advice from all the chatting about it Grin .

WilHarlot · 07/05/2015 19:07

Splodge he's adorable.

DulcetMoans · 07/05/2015 19:19

Eurgh. Elections and work are trying to kill me! Hopefully I can sleep all weekend.

Congrats splodge! Amazing news and sounds like it went really well. Welcome to the world Jem, looking gorgeous!

I know the moment has past Kato and glad you have had the chat but I would have agreed that he probably hates to turn down the work as self-employed and thinks he can be there working and help at the same time. Hope you feel prepared for tomorrow!

There is a thing about heartbeat speed too toast - faster is male and slower is female. 150 is faster end I think. Slower is nearer 140. So maybe boy!

I got told the same thing by a yoga teacher looking. Told me I shouldn't do anything for 12 weeks but its nonsense. Just do other things until you can go, if you even want to. I wouldn't have gone back there if I was allowed anyway as she was quite rude and mean about it.

Another shit DH here la and fleur. Not sorted paternity leave and I didn't know about the 15 week thing until yesterday. He reckons it will be fine because his boss dinged the car door this week... not sure it works like that!

Fleurchamp · 07/05/2015 19:32

dulcet I am so angry with DH. He still hasn't told work. If I ask him he gets annoyed.

So, he says that he will take 2 weeks holiday and then paternity leave later (fine, he can do that) except, he has to give 2 weeks notice for leave and cannot take the time if someone else in his team has already booked it. I am due at the beginning of the school holidays so it is v likely his team mates will have booked holiday and unfortunately babies do not give 2 weeks notice of arrival!

He seems to think the rules do not apply to him (in fairness, he never does).

He also doesn't seem concerned that I am worried about this which infuriates me.
