Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 27th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

mountaingirl01 · 06/05/2015 10:51

:) :) scan was this morning.. telling everyone in rl that we haven't found out, but had to tell you lot.. now to think of a name!

mountaingirl01 · 06/05/2015 10:54

Piccy on facebook

Pisghetti · 06/05/2015 10:54

My boy sounded like a horse and my girl not so much. My kids can't do anything right! In fact I had the exact opposite of what the old wives predictions say - MS with the boy when they say it's with a girl, hairy with the girl when they say it's with a boy.... Still waiting for my tummy carpet to piss off Angry

KatoPotato · 06/05/2015 10:55

Eeeek! Mountain!!! That's amazing! We Are most honoured!

Can I ask though, what would Hb sound like if not horses?? I'd describe this one like that? And we're banking on a boy!

Pisghetti · 06/05/2015 10:55

Congrats mountain! Girls are ace Grin boys are ace too Grin babies are ace!

Hooray mountain!!!! So glad all was well and congratulations on your wee girl! :) I'm delighted for you.

kato it's meant to be horse galloping for girl and train for boy. I used to think mine sounded like horse but then it was clearly more train-like and it turned out to be right! still not sure about these old wives tales...

teejayem · 06/05/2015 11:29

Aww brilliant mountain! Congratulations!

Ankle is still huge and non moveable. I've got a flexi boot thing on order from osteopath, Mr tee is working from home today (although is driving me up the frigging wall),so I'm staying upstairs with my colouring books and telly. I'm ignoring all social media today as the team I usually go Stormchasing with are all flying to Dallas today for the start of the season and it's making me feel shit and jealous, and then guilty because I am having a baby and should feel more grateful. I think I'm just a bit fed up of my body feeling like it's falling to bits! Was talking to Mr tee last night about induction etc and what the next appointment might entail, and he can't quite fathom why I don't want to wait and let it all happen naturally. Honestly, The thought of being in pain/having bits fall off/ being a human spdisaster zone to 42 weeks makes me cry.
Who said salt and vinegar crisps? Can you send me some? Will trade in ice cream...

Thanks tori - fx you get the go ahead! I'm seeing consultant next weds, I'm hoping he'll agree to inducing at 39 weeks, which will mean 3 more weeks from then. I think having an end date in sight will pick me up a bit too.
Just reading the essential waitrose shopping thread. It's basically pointless as has no inclusion of rasp. Magnums. Only crap like quails eggs and antisocial cheese.
I do love it in there but can't do a normal shop. Just bits.

WilHarlot · 06/05/2015 12:19

you'd have to remortgage to do your whole shop in there.

Have just burnt my tongue on something which didn't feel hot Confused

Sadly I have no crisps Tee, I just want them.

Hobbit19 · 06/05/2015 12:53

Mountain, eeeeep to a girl, how exciting!

JCandy, hope your scan is going okay.

Felt rough as a badgers at work today so came home after teaching my exam classes and nearly crashed my car, stupid pud. Now in bed with the cats and going to sleep!!

teejayem · 06/05/2015 13:12

I'm on bed with cats too pud although the bloody blanket I'm under has fluffed all over my leggings. Mr Tee has gone out and is fetching back crisps. He gets good husband points.

Lookingforadvice123 · 06/05/2015 13:16

Congrats mountain!!! A girl how fab. Must say I'm hoping for a girl Blush but convinced it's a boy, and I know I'll be over the moon with a boy, I just have no clue what I'd do with one as I'm from a family of girls. I don't want to find out the sex but dh does and says he'll keep it a secret from me, we both know that won't work!

Sorry to hear those suffering with mc. I'm 5 weeks 2 days and have had no sickness, haven't had many symptoms apart from sore boobs (which come and go), mild cramping and general forgetfulness/stupidity...should I be worried?!

Fattycow · 06/05/2015 13:23

Don't worry, looking. Every pregnancy is different and everyone has different symptoms, or even none at all!

I love to shop at waitrose. When dd2 was born I mannaged to get DHs approval for waitrose delivery! We stil do it on weeks when I cant get to a shop, usualy go to morrisons and go to butchers and greengrocers for the rest. Waitrose delivery are fantastic, even if they have to substitute its almost always good stuf, prob better than what you ordered in the first place. Plus its free delivery after you spend x amount, wich is easy with a family of 5. Plus the mywaitrose card gets you some money off and a free cuppa every day (if you live close enough) DH thinks im slightly too in love with waitrose, but doesnt complain!
Anyhooo, mw app in half an hour. DS and DD2 in front of a recorded session of 'cyw' (welsh cebeebies). Lets hope my bp is lower than last week, and please no protein in urine.

Fattycow · 06/05/2015 13:34

Would it be very bad if I ate the last Magnum? Considering it is DH's and I already had two yesterday...

Fleurchamp · 06/05/2015 13:56

I badly want chips now!!!

I am an ocado lover, hate going to the supermarket (except m&s food which is currently bankrupting me but it all just looks so nice).

gaggiagirl · 06/05/2015 14:09

There is no Waitrose any where near me. Think its 50 odd miles to the nearest and it has no parking!!!!! What's the point of that??? Its in the big city, like the centre of the big city squashed between other posh shops.

mountaingirl01 · 06/05/2015 14:17

looking like Kato, I had NO symptoms in first trimester. Didn't feel upduffed until I got a bump! (And still have people who don't notice it-should I be offended?! ) also was convinced I was having a boy thoughstill not convinced they were right
I only go to wait rose if I'm in the area and only for things like black rice that I can't get anywhere else and free coffee if I'm out and about doing home visits
teedefinitely good husband points there! I was very annoyed with dh the other day when he wouldn't go out and get me chive Pringles! sounds like you're really suffering though, hope you're ok.

mountaingirl01 · 06/05/2015 14:21

Should also point out I love shopping for food! I go to 3 different supermarkets, butcher and farm to get our food! and we live 7miles from the nearest town let alone city Blush

teejayem · 06/05/2015 14:29

Eat it fatty men can't claim ownership of magnums.

I do love Marks and Sparks fleur. My mum worked PT there when we were kids, and and before the advent of yellow labels on food about to go out of date, it all went in the 'staff shop' and got sold off for like 10p per pork pie, ready meal etc. It ruined me for other supermarket deli things :( I just wish it wasn't all so expensive, but it's sooooo delicious. Even their 'essential' orange juice is lovely. And the raspberry meringue chocolate bars.

Just text my mum to ask if she can take me there tomorrow. Blush

splodge77 · 06/05/2015 15:07

Hi viroids. Quick check-in from the eternally pregnant splodge!! Had a sweep this morning which was a wee bit painful but the midwife was hilarious - a real character, so I was laughing and wincing at the same time. She said I have a very stretchy cervix and bulging membranes eek! And thinks it v unlikely I'll be coming in for induction on Monday which was all good to hear. Now at home getting mild period-like cramps so hoping hoping hoping that things may be kicking off at last (now I've jinxed it saying that!) so looks like I'd better print off the forms for an emergency proxy vote tomorrow. Naughty baby interfering with my democratic duty. Heh heh.
