tori best of luck, hope Ollie makes an appearance very soon!

zahaziland · 19/05/2015 11:32

best of luck with the induction tori. Keep us updated!

The mumsnet pregnancy calendar tells me that the baby's head might start to engage this week. Have people felt this happening?
I feel baby's bum right up by my ribs, so I can't bend over any more!
Any experience of when the baby might engage, and what this feels like?

comeagainforbigfudge · 19/05/2015 12:26

tori good luck!!! Hope it's all going well and wish you a speedy and straightforward labour! Not long until you have your beautiful babba in your arms!!!

pas your names are beautiful! It is indeed a responsibility!

My midwife is very funny and quite informal don't think she was "officially" telling me it's a boy but she clearly thought it was! Smile it makes me so excited although if she says girl I would also be ridiculously excited!

I'm getting jealous of all the ladies who have had their babies...I'm still at work and only 35 weeks!!! Feels miles away.

Ladies you are all doing this amazing cooking and I feel bad about the amount of toast I'm eating because I can't be bothered to cook...

comeagainforbigfudge · 20/05/2015 07:59

Noooooo!!! Woke up this morn by OH asking me if I knew why we had no water (coz in my sleep I am all knowing of course!)

It'd be fine if the plasterer had finished yesterday. But noooooooo!!!

It is finally up on website saying they know about it. But still!

I will not cry, I will not cry, I will not cry

The plan was nearly perfect Sad

comeagainforbigfudge · 20/05/2015 08:35

Phew! Crisis over. The water is back on!!
Now I just need to spend the day feeling manky as can't have shower until plasterer has gone Blush

come good news about your water... That's the last thing you need! Hopefully baby doesn't decide to show up in the middle of all of this! Grin

jazzyjenbo · 20/05/2015 13:58

Hope you are all doing well? Any twinges? Signs? Symptoms?
I'm getting so excited about all these babies..... Have any of the non-FB members had there babies yet that i've missed?
If not then we are upto 11 babies now x

htf2 · 21/05/2015 00:56

Just checking in all. 11 babies! I was trying to count but couldn't keep track with the last rush of them. We aren't that much past half way through may! I don't know whether I want mine to come out asap or not - I wish the house was cleaner and more organised (i'm 37+5)

Bazza2 · 21/05/2015 05:47

jazzy I have been having pains on and off for a few days but nothing seems to be really kicking off yet! My dd was late so fully expecting this one to be too! Hmm

jazzyjenbo · 21/05/2015 13:45

Hmm Sorry to here that chook, these babies seem to be abit unpredictable atm.
Really want mine to arrive soon.

Bazza2 · 22/05/2015 06:12

The very wonderful Angus arrived yesterday at 1:15 pm. I have had shit loads of morphine and ten minutes sleep but I'm totally besotted. The specialists still think he might have achondroplasia so he is having further tests today.

comeagainforbigfudge · 22/05/2015 09:01

Aw congratulations bazza Flowers

(Hope the tests go ok.)

OP posts:
Chookford · 22/05/2015 09:35

Tryingreallyhard84 · 22/05/2015 19:02

Bazza - I don't know what that is but hope it's all okay. even once they get here, these babies keep wanting to cause us worry.

zahaziland · 23/05/2015 08:35

Congratulations Bazza and welcome to the world Angus!

comeagainforbigfudge · 23/05/2015 14:55

Oh how I wish this baby would decide which way it wants to lie. Keeps moving about. Transverse/breech/battering my bladder. Gah!

Sorry to have abandoned you all for fb, things have been a bit manic with house move at 37+1, car catastrophically failing at 37+6 and baby Alexander arrived after a short 25 minute labour at 39+1 luckily I had already been admitted for induction due to pre-eclampsia, so was in the hospital already, and DH was with me.

Due date tomorrow and everything finally feels calm and lovely for us, albeit with a 6 day old
