Congratulations sunbathing!

Chookford · 31/05/2015 10:20

sun massive congrats, does baby sun have a name yet?

trying sweep is in 20mins they booked me in the wrong day... So hopefully by tomorrow eve I may have my monkey!

Hope everyone is well!

zahaziland · 31/05/2015 12:23

Congratulations sun and jazz
So many babies and we are not even technically in June yet!

Next week is my last week at work... I hope I don't end up on my own on this thread!

Trying, I'm also back to symptom spotting, can't wait to meet baby.

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 31/05/2015 14:19

My "symptoms", which I am trying not to spot as that way lies craziness, are running up and smacking me in the face in a bid not to be ignored. Fab. Doesn't mean anything's happening!! It's maddening.

38+6 today and well ready to have this child out! A few months ago my dh gave me a target date of 1st June (he says everything these days has to be measured in targets, preferably unattainable ones). I do appear to be missing my target.

Chook hope the sweep does something for you Smile I have one booked for 40+2. With dd I had one at 40+7 and it definitely started things moving although she didn't actually arrive until I'd had 2 more of the bastard things at 40+12. I'm hoping this time that a) we won't get to 40+2 and that b) if we do, my body will remember what it's playing at this time!

Tryingreallyhard84 · 31/05/2015 15:12

zahazi - I've got a week of work left too. So much to do in 4 days (let's face it, the 5th day I'm going to be on major wind down). Grin I'm only in the office for 2 of those days. Friday will depend on how many of my team are in the office.

Chook - fingers crossed! In fact, everything crossed!

Pas - really do hope your body is more cooperative this time then.

rolypolybird84 · 31/05/2015 17:48

Don't worry zaha I'm not due until 25th June so there's a few of us still here!!!

I've now finished work and tomorrow is my first official day on maternity leave!!! I've had a week holiday which I've spent rushing around like crazy trying to get the house up together. It's one of those "worse before it's better" scenarios!

Hope everybody is feeling well and congratulations to ALL who have their beautiful babbas in their arms!

Must admit I'm beginning to get really nervous as I really don't know much about babies especially newborns!!!

comeagainforbigfudge · 31/05/2015 22:11

Rolypoly me too. I can look after the sickest of the sick patients but the thought of a newborn is scaring the bejezus out of me. We will manage though. I'm sure of it.

I swear this baby wants to escape out my right side. Bloody sore kicks/stretched all down that side. Gah!

Hope you all had a nice weekend Smile

I'm not full term either just yet so will hear our d a bit longer. Hopefully 2 or 3 more Junebugs born tomorrow!

I still can't quite believe we're actually having a baby. My bags are packed, the Moses basket is set up, were pretty much ready, but my brain can't quite compute that someone is going to hand me a brand new human to look after. Eek!

zahaziland · 01/06/2015 10:44

Hello everyone,

First day of June, so who will be the first official June Baby???
I've lost track, anyone due today, or being induced, or having a C-section today?

Baby was moving a lot last night - sometimes it's quite uncomfortable, but I'd still rather baby moves than not!

comeagainforbigfudge · 01/06/2015 10:53

I'm having a scan. Does that count? Wink

I've lost track as well.
But to be honest, I'm more disappointed that it's the first of June and it's STILL raining here. Blooming cold as well.

hahah comeagain, I was thinking the same thing about the weather.
I remember early on imaging my last weeks of pregnancy and thinking that I would be struggling with the heat and sun, but no need to worry about that!

jazzyjenbo · 01/06/2015 13:21

1st june and our baby count is upto 26 including 2 sets of id girl twins.

We have our first 2 junebugs born today aswell and another lady being induced.

Any of the MN only girls had their babies yet that i have missed?

I've updated the stats if you can find the link by scrolling back x

Chookford · 01/06/2015 13:52

I'm still bloody waiting jazzy next sweep tomorrow... Lazy lazy baby!!

rolypolybird84 · 01/06/2015 14:21

Wow jazzy 26 babies? Out of about how many?

X

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 01/06/2015 15:24

Personally I think 26 babies born before it's even June is just rude - designed to make the rest of us feel like we're waiting forever WinkWink

I've ordered over £100 of food to come today - this week's meals plus double batches of lots for the freezer. And then my brother invited himself for supper which is genuinely lovely but he has no idea the planning that's gone into this week's menus!!! ConfusedGrinConfused

comeagainforbigfudge · 01/06/2015 16:44

Ha, I know pas. Tis very rude indeed Wink

Well scan has shown baby now head down. Not engaged but right way round at least.

However the baby measuring small (10th percentile when previously 50th) so concerned about placenta. Ended up going back for a 2nd scan after monitoring. But they've decided all is good and probably just way baby lying.

To go back for another scan next week just so they can keep an eye on me/baby. So we will need to wait and see.

Tryingreallyhard84 · 01/06/2015 19:14

Pas - I've just run my freezer down in the hope I can do some preparatory cooking too.

Chook - still nothing?! Now that is rude!

I'd like the sun to come out...partly because trousers are the work of Satan himself so maxi dresses are my last resort.

We are getting overrun with squidgy babies...I've not got my head round that one of those will be mine soon. Shock There's a small human in my stomach. Nope. That's just still odd.

comeagainforbigfudge · 02/06/2015 08:55

Aw thanks sunbathing, that's reassuring. I reckon I'm going into "arrrgh I'm not ready to be a parent despite being mid thirties" mode Grin

Oh chook I too hope baby chook makes an appearance soon.

Was anyone kept awake by the wind n rain last night? Gosh it was miserable. Think someone is playing a trick on us or they just stole summer Confused
