Come put your feet up in the Zen den and let the dh's wait on us hand and foot whilst we nurture the fruit of their loins in our bellies :-)

Oh gosh you're all being so good and careful! I've had prawns, they are fine if properly cooked. And ricotta is basically fancy cream cheese right? I hope so as I had a giant bowl of tortellini when out for dinner yesterday!

I have managed to sleep the latest I have in ages today, but now lying in bed listening to DH snore. I may have to kill him...

Hairstylisttoboris · 29/05/2015 09:10

Just popping over to wave at you all :) and to see how chops is? Hope you are feeling ok lovely lady? Is DH looking after you properly?

chopsface · 29/05/2015 10:15

Home sick today Boris feeling sorry for myself. Apparently you get a different surge of hormones around this time as the placenta takes over. They don't agree with me! As for dh, no he's not looking after me enough! Well he made me beans on toast last night but he won't help in the house! It really is a flipping tip, shocking! I'm waiting for the promised wellness and energy of trimester 2 to start nesting! Thanks for asking after me and I hope that wasn't too complain-y. I'm grateful for being pregnant obviously! I've never done 'ill' very well. I'm a bad patient. I lay around groaning and asking for my mommy lol!

I feel fine today so now feel worried about feeling fine Hmm 4+6 today. I'm trying to just carry on but really I'm never not thinking about being pregnant.

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 30/05/2015 10:46

oyster I'm not getting many symptoms and I'm 7 + 5 today. Had a little nausea last week, just been a bit tired and hungry this week. So i am gonna keep eating until the days were I can't. I read somewhere sickness doesn't start till about 6 weeks so try not to worry.

chopsface · 30/05/2015 11:34

I didn't get my first nausea until 5+5 but I did have mild hangover feeling before that. Oh to just have that mild hangover feeling again! 11 weeks tomorrow and feel like death on a stick :-(

I have had minimal nausea all the way through and haven't been sick once...so far. I would gag in the mornings from around the end of week 7 but feel fine all day then struggle to eat my dinner in the evenings as felt a bit sicky but nothing too bad. My boobs have felt sore on and off but now feel much better and I had quite strong cramps around week 6 and 7 which I was worried about but everything was fine at 8 week scan. Oh and a couple of headaches. That's about the extent of all my symptoms!

Now my symptoms have really worn off at 11+3 - apparently they do around this time as the placenta kicks in but I am worried to death if I'm honest Confused Will be pleased to have my next scan and know everything is still ok...fx

tessiegirl · 30/05/2015 11:54

Oh and the tiredness I felt in the early weeks was unreal! Absolutely exhausted and in bed by 9.30 - I am normally a night owl who stays up until 1am so dh was [shocked] and Smile as I normally keep him awake reading!!!!

mslightyear · 30/05/2015 12:12

oyster don't worry. My sickness only really kicked in at 6 weeks and since then I have struggled eating anything really. I have the nauseous feeling and the actual vomiting, which is pleasant. From weeks 4 to 6 I just focused on eating a lot of fruit and veg as I knew once sickness kicked in I wouldn't be able to. I figured at least the baby would get some nutrients before a carb based diet began lol.

chopsface · 30/05/2015 12:33

Oh and I am super tired now, fell asleep on the sofa when eastenders started and the theme tune at the end woke me again! Moved myself up to bed after that and watched the end of BGT. Normally it took ages for me to fall asleep and now I'm out like a light!

Is anyone else having frequent sex dreams about ex boyfriends?! Or is that just me?! Confused

Oysterbabe · 30/05/2015 12:47

Thanks ladies, I'll try not to over think things.

Not so far Chops maybe they kick in at 11 weeks?!

tessiegirl · 30/05/2015 12:54

Oyster please try not to worry. You may not even get many symptoms and continue to feel fine - some ladies do. The lady at my scan said these pregnancy hormones affect everyone differently and even two pregnancies may not be the same. I have had some days where I feel so normal if it wasn't for the scan and the positive tests I wouldn't even know I was pregnant which is madness when all that amazing stuff is going on inside of you Smile

Ok tmi Blush - has anyone noticed they have dry nipples?!

chopsface · 30/05/2015 13:12

You're so lucky having no symptoms tessie well jel!

I don't have dry nipples but when they go hard when I'm cold they are agony! Like someone is burning them off!

Oyster. I echo the others, nothing kicked off for me really until six weeks.

Exhaustion? I slept for 15 hours last night, except for the 20mins I got up to make toast at 4.30.

I now feel like a nap again...

babsbunny · 30/05/2015 13:33

Chops, I'm so sorry you are still feeling rough. You've got to be getting to the end of it soon though right? I think you are about 1.5 weeks ahead of me right? I'm just coming up for 10weeks on Mon.

Rainy34 · 30/05/2015 13:39

Hi ladies,

Thought i would pop my head around the door to check on you all!!

Dojo what a great scan pic, must make it all the more real now!!!

Hope you all start to feel better and the nausea begins to pass!!!

babsbunny · 30/05/2015 13:51

Hi rainy. Thanks for popping in to our worry/moan fest!

How are you doing?

chopsface · 30/05/2015 13:54

I'm 11w tomorrow babs. I was coping with the nausea through eating, and it would go away for an hour. The start of the week I was feeling tons better and only eating at proper mealtimes and no snacking. Then suddenly from 16.20 on Thursday afternoon, from nowhere, I feel terrible! Constant nausea that's not got rid of by eating! Argh!

OP posts:
babsbunny · 30/05/2015 14:15

Oh crumbs Chops. That's not fun. Just keep resting and hydrated and stay out of work as long as you need. No point in being there if you are feeling awful.I made that mistake last week, and now I have no idea how to fill out my time sheet as I was so unproductive. Took me all week to get done what I should have done on tues/wed.
Keep hydrated is the main thing. Eating when you feel sick is so grim xxx

loopylou1984 · 30/05/2015 14:53
