Guy brush same here I had a week off of the nausea but it came back with a vengeance yesterday! Couldn't eat a thing!

I have been taking bump pics and it looks like it has gone down over time as I am not bloated any more and have lost weight due to all my food aversions! It just looks flat again now :(

Blue hope you're ok please let us know how you're doing!!!

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 26/04/2015 09:03

It's Ann bag here - I name changed a little while ago but had been changing back for this thread. Now it's too much for my brain so hope you don't mind another name changer

I hope you're ok Blue thinking of you

I'm thinking of paying for a 16 week scan to check where my placenta is, has anyone had one? I don't want to know the sex though and I know that's the main reason people pay for a 16 week scan! I'm in 2 minds really, if it's high I won't have to worry but if it's not I've just paid money for an extra month's worry

cryingbabymess · 26/04/2015 09:05

Blue hope you're ok! I think we're all worried that we've not heard anything from you! Thanks

I know that most of the symptoms should start to disappear but does the tender breasts disappear? It seems to be the only symptom I've got left and I wish it would bugger off! Lol.

flyingsprocket · 26/04/2015 09:55

abbey I guess you can pay for a scan for whatever you want. I'm considering paying for one if they don't check my cervix next week at 12 weeks. I had a MC at 17 weeks & it may have been a week cervix. I'm not sure if it's routinely checked & I'm not seeing the consultant until 15 weeks to ask about it. I forgot to ask midwife at booking in. If you think it will reassure you then go for it!

Good luck to your DH toots running a marathon is an amazing achievement

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 26/04/2015 10:01

Thanks flying I hope everything is well with you this time.
I'm unsure whether they can check my placenta at 16, although I see on mn that in other countries they check at 12 weeks. I know it's not routine to do so in the UK, but thought given my history they might do, but no.
I just thought it'll be quite funny (I have a weird sense of humour) to turn up to what's called a gender scan and say 'don't tell me the sex'
Just had a quick Google and it's 50 quid, cheaper than I thought so I might do

Hi everyone!
Sorry I haven't been on, I feel bad now seeing how many of you were asking about me
I am still losing blood and some very small clots and I'm still none the wiser
Out Of hours took 2 hours to ring me back on Friday (2 hours!!) and sent me to a hospital close by that the EPU is open 24/7 so I was so relieved I'd be getting checked and scanned and what not until I got there and they told me they didn't have the facilities to do any tests until Monday morning?! I was like Hmm why the fuck are you even open then?!
So I was sent home very pissed off at 6am to rest! Slept most of yesterday after a long night
So now I'm gonna have to go to my GP in the morning to get a referral to EPU and pray they've got the time to see me tomorrow
It's been a loonnnnggggg weekend!
TakesTwo thankyou so much for talking me down on Friday night, well Saturday morning, I was seriously panicking and you genuinely did help to calm me down and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it
And everybody else that shared bleeding & spotting stories they really have made me less concerned about this and really have helped so thankyou everyone!
Just got to get through today now and will hopefully have some answers tomorrow

mrscatmad31 · 26/04/2015 12:33

(((hugs))) blue bananas

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 26/04/2015 12:36

I hope it goes well tomorrow Blue and take a book or something, when I went last pregnancy I was there 7am (had to wait for them to open properly at 9) until the afternoon. It wasn't all waiting, just had to wait for various bits: doctor, scan, doctor again, then wait for pharmacy. It took ages all together
Have a good rest today if you can

I'm sorry you lost a night of sleep for the privilege of learning nothing at all blue, that's very frustrating. Good luck for tomorrow and no problem at all for fri night - very glad if it helped in a small way. I 'll keep everything crossed for tomorrow for you.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 26/04/2015 15:09

Hope you get answers tomorrow Blue
I got my five-a-day today for the first time in about a month! Granted I did have them all in one dish, but still.

MamaGotABrandNewBag · 26/04/2015 15:29

Hope all goes well tomorrow blue.
I've got my 12 week scan tomorrow, partly excited and partly terrified.
Sometimes I think I can feel little flutters but surely it's too early?

Blueblink · 26/04/2015 15:56

Hope all goes well for you tomorrow blue and you're able to get some rest today!
I had a super upset tummy last night and have been feeling like crap all day! Just managed to eat a breakfast bar, going back to my blanket fort on the sofa!

BowiesJumper · 26/04/2015 16:22

Fingers crossed for you Blue

My scan is tomorrow too and I'm terrified.

mrscatmad31 · 26/04/2015 17:06

I've got my scan tomorrow and so worried something will be wrong Sad

Emsyd89 · 26/04/2015 17:22

I have my first scan tomorrow too and I am so scared! Had a mmc last time, with absolutely no symptoms so really nervous!

Good luck to everyone else with their scans soon!

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 26/04/2015 17:23

Good luck for tomorrow Bowie's mrscat Mama and anyone I've missed.

Flutters - I've heard they are earlier the more babies you've had? Nothing for me so far, 1st pregnancy was around 20 weeks. I think because I connected the kicks I saw on screen at the scan with what I was feeling and realised what they were - I'd thought it was gas Blush

annatha · 26/04/2015 17:43

I've got my scan tomorrow too, looks like a lot of us! I keep feeling something, I'm not sure if its kicks just yet though.

I'm aiming to get my diet back on track this week. I'm 13 weeks on Tuesday and we move house then too, so new house, new trimester, new start. I'm so uninspired though! Any quick, healthy dinners you can recommend?

cryingbabymess · 26/04/2015 18:05

I've just had the best dinner I've had in the past 11 weeks.....just cooked a roast chicken dinner for me, my OH, brother and dad! Was lush!!! Profiteroles for afters yummmmmmm!

FlossyLil · 26/04/2015 18:47

Hope you get some positive news tomorrow blue.

I've got my scan tomorrow too, not til late afternoon though. Good luck to all fellow scanners!

mrscatmad31 · 26/04/2015 19:20

Lots of scans tomorrow, good luck everyone Grin

tootsroots · 26/04/2015 19:28

Woop! Spent all day trotting about London cheering dh and mates on and was such fun! No sickness or anything! He did sooooo well I am more in love with him than ever! He sobbed when I saw him after - he never cries so now I am predicting his reaction at the birth will be emotional!

Have my 12 week scan tomorrow too!( though I know I am about 13 weeks!) good luck everyone!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 26/04/2015 19:28

So many scans tomorrow! Looking forward to lots of good news Smile
Still two weeks to mine.
