If you're due in November 2015, well here's your ante natal club! Come and talk about vomit inducing man-scents, cheese roasties you simply cannot do without/or stand, the picked ice cream you must have right now, and the bubbling desire to tell the world but checking dates to restrain yourself!

Good tip loulou I'm afraid I gave in to Crumbelia's encouragement and I'm in my may jeans (new ones at that - I'm going to blame her for my extravagance Wink )

laura that is quite a stat! It is incredible quite how much they change so quickly. In just three and a bit weeks at the 12 week scan it will actually look like a baby, despite being a blob today!

Ooh crumbelina I love sketch! Very envious!

TakesTwoToTango · 10/04/2015 19:12

Loulou maybe if you are anxious you could call the hospital to check your scan date has been/is being booked in? Very glad to hear you had a reassuring scan too. The dr told me that placentas generally have a lot more connections to the uterus than they need so a bleed in one area should hopefully not impact on the bean in any way.

TwoBeesInTheHive · 10/04/2015 20:33

I am SO tired. would it be wrong of me to go to bed at half 8?? I can barely keep my eyes open!!

LouLouCheese · 10/04/2015 20:55

I may just do that takes two, also just trying to get my head around the different tests and scans that are available so looking forward to speaking to a midwife, it's a lot different to when I had my daughter 6 years ago, I'm 38 now which is also adding to my anxiety!

Just trying to relax Smile

Poppyninja · 10/04/2015 20:58

I'm in bed. Got home from work, instantly napped on the couch so gave up and went to bed. absolutely shattered! I can clean the house tomorrow Zzzzzzzzzz

ch1134 · 10/04/2015 22:15

Just checking in as really I have nothing to report. Nearly 8 weeks now. A couple of evenings of nausea early this week, now nothing. No exhaustion, no sore boobs... hard not to worry/ forget!

cryingbabymess · 10/04/2015 22:27

Been in my bed since I got home at 5 thanks to this lovely cold I have! I've just woken myself up with extreme coughing away to throw up! ??

This won't be hurting bean will it! My stomach is in agony because of the coughing! Sad

TakesTwoToTango · 11/04/2015 01:02

Oh crying it won't be hurting the baby, just you I'm afraid Sad look after yourself and rest as much as you can. The only things that are not great for the little one are extreme dehydration or high fever so try and sip fluids and take paracetamol if you find your temp goes up too high. Otherwise it's just a case of riding it out I'm afraid x

nehagarg · 11/04/2015 07:29

My turn to go into the hospital. :( Was bleeding yesterday so went to the EPU. After a lot of undignified checking and blood tests i have been told i am ok.

Been asked to come in for an early scan today though to make sure bean is fine. Crossing everything. :(

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 11/04/2015 07:39

Fingers crossed neha. How many weeks are you? What time is your scan?

mrscatmad31 · 11/04/2015 07:47

Was late finishing work last night, was supposed to finish at 7 and left at half ten, so tired today, can't do this job pregnant!

nehagarg · 11/04/2015 07:54

I am 10w5d GuyBrush - scan is at 9:30. Not too long to wait thankfully.

feathergirl1 · 11/04/2015 08:22

Morning all, I posted on here on the first thread but have been laying low due to 24 hr nausea and generally feeling shite. Sickness is just coming on in the evenings now but I've now developed horrendous sensitive teeth. Ahhh! Apparently it's to do with being pregnant, hormones etc. Or it could be to do with the fact that I've eaten shedloads of cake and chocolate the last fortnight!
Back to work on Monday after 2 weeks off and dreading it - back to feeling exhausted every night! Hey ho, suck it up I guess!
Have a good day everyone and good luck with the scan nehagarg!

CoffeeTwo · 11/04/2015 08:25

neha hope your scan goes well Flowers

Focusfocus · 11/04/2015 08:46

Focus I bought bands from boots the end of last week and they actually work a treat! Smile

BowiesJumper · 11/04/2015 11:19

neha hope you had a good scan! Fingers crossed for you.

I'm off to visit my friend and her new baby today. Can't wait!

Mamama31 · 11/04/2015 11:28

Hope the scan went well nehagarg!

Mamama31 · 11/04/2015 11:30

Is this normal!? Soon as I wake up a certain type of food comes in to my head and I have to get up and make it straight away! Today it was french toast, it was so good! If MS doesn't hit I'm going to be a whale!!!!

annatha · 11/04/2015 11:33

Mamama31 it was beans for me this morning. I'm dreaming of a fry up but I've been sick once already today so its not a good idea!
