If you're due in November 2015, well here's your ante natal club! Come and talk about vomit inducing man-scents, cheese roasties you simply cannot do without/or stand, the picked ice cream you must have right now, and the bubbling desire to tell the world but checking dates to restrain yourself!

cryingbabymess · 08/04/2015 19:44

Is anyone else struggling to go to the toilet? I've not properly been for at least 5 days and have just been and only a little bit came and was really sore but had to go back and it was just water? Sorry if TMI!

Mulligrubs · 08/04/2015 19:58

Been ages since I posted, hi everyone! Hope all is good. Got my scan on Monday am hoping all is well with the little jellybean! Nervous as hell that they will tell me there's nothing there - I felt like this with my son last time when I saw him on the screen I went "wow, so there's an actual baby in there!" much to the amusement of the sonographer and student!

Mamama31 · 08/04/2015 20:08

Liliana I'm so sorry to hear that. Please take care and I hope you have lots of support around you. Hugs.

Blueblink · 08/04/2015 20:22

Sending my love liliana

Today I have been so ridiculously bloated and uncomfortable :-( I'm not sure if these antibiotics have started to kick in to boot this UTI or not! The waterworks are working better but I feel worse, it's difficult to tell if it's pregnancy related nausea or UTI related sigh

Mamama31 · 08/04/2015 21:11

Roughtyping I'm sure the wedding will be lovely! Great time of year for a wedding, nice spring weather :) we got married in spring and it was so sunny and fresh! I hope you all have a fab day!

reb2g08 · 08/04/2015 21:12

Thoughts are with you Liliana. Cryingbabymess I know how you feel it has been 4 days for me!

I went for a curry tonight and ended up throwing it all up in the toilets! First time I have actually been sick this whole pregnancy, up til now just felt nauseous. I actually feel a bit better now I have been sick!

sophiaslullaby · 08/04/2015 21:41

Liliana very sorry to hear your news. Sending love and comfortFlowers

sophiaslullaby · 08/04/2015 21:44

reb2g08 oh dont say that -ive got a curry evening this weekend! So far only felt nauseaous (cant spell!) and would just be my luck that a meal out upsets me! Maybe stick to a mild korma? What did you have?

BowiesJumper · 08/04/2015 21:47

I had a lovely curry at the weekend (little piggy that I am!!)

I've got my sisters wedding in just over 3 weeks and I need to fit in my bridesmaid dress! Will lay off the treats.

reb2g08 · 08/04/2015 22:07

I had a chicken biryani so I think I should've stuck to something dry like tandoori chicken. I also think it might have been coz I didn't have much to eat today so I went from eating nothing to loads!

annatha · 08/04/2015 22:11

Anyone see OBEM just now on 4seven? I wish they gave as much info on the births as they do for the couples. Every woman on it ended up with some kind of intervention with little explanation (to the viewer anyway, I'm hoping the women had more information!) and it gives the impression that all births in some way go "wrong".

HeirToTheIronThrone · 08/04/2015 22:16

Reb I wish I could be sick! Managed half a jacket potato for dinner but couldn't face any more. Now in bed feeling shocking. I have bad back ache too, does anyone else? I could understand if I was further along but it's not like this little bean weights much yet!

BlueBananas · 08/04/2015 22:49

Oooo you're all making me want a curry! I'm still eating the whole world, I'm gonna weigh about 85 stone, bit of nausea might be good for me at this point!

tootsroots · 08/04/2015 22:55

Liliana - am so sorry for your loss.

heir I have had such bad back pain I went to my private Physio and have an unstable pelvis / sacro iliac joint- so bad that by the end of the day I can barely lift one leg or stand:( she said it was 100% pregnancy and a tad weak core contributed. And being sick and retching 15 times a day,.And yes I am only 9 weeks :(. It's so bad but gp said its part if being pg and I just need to cope. Grrrr. Physio offered me a support belt - sexy it is not.
-and Dh is in the spare room to stop him rocking the super king bed/ me.

Try pelvic tilts lying on floor and engaging core to stand and walk?

Keep having nightmares about my 12 week scan - it is consuming my every thought. Mostly that I have had a mc or mmc as my mum had 6 and scared me. Anyone else anxious ?

ehealy · 09/04/2015 06:28

tootsroots I totally sympathise. I have had very few symptoms just bloating constipation and sore boobs. I had diahorrea last night and woken this morning to boobs normal, the scan can't come soon enough to ease my paranoia. Also saw doctor whose taken a week off the pregnancy with her card board wheel when by all the online calculations I'm week 9 +4 she says im 8! Also the scare mongoring with info pack she gave me on the test for Downs shocked me!

ninjabeer · 09/04/2015 08:10

Morning ladies. Thank you for sharing your work stories. I hope I am overreacting about bosses reaction. Will have to wait and see.

Wishing you all sickness and backache free days. Enjoy the sunshine.

BowiesJumper · 09/04/2015 09:00

I felt really nauseous last night and didn't want to yak on the tube home, so I bought some ginger nuts and ate one. It really sorted me out! I now have them in my handbag for emergency purposes. Grin

flyingsprocket · 09/04/2015 09:59

So sorry liliana

flyingsprocket · 09/04/2015 10:01

I had my booking appointment yesterday, the 12 week scan still feels so far away. I went out on my bike for a lovely sunny 2 hour ride which made me feel normal again. I'm not pushing myself like I was before the pregnancy but I'm hoping I can keep riding for as long as I can, it keeps me sane as much as anything else!

nehagarg · 09/04/2015 10:21

I hear you flyingsprocket .... I am staying on my bike for as long as I can too, even if it is just for leisurely rides down the canal! When is your 12 week scan? My booking appt is only 2 days before my 12 week scan. They are both more than 2 weeks away!! What is a girl to do for some peace of mind!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 09/04/2015 10:37

Glad there are some other cyclists here! I'm going to keep going as long as I can. Will probably have to stop by 24 weeks or so as I'm having twins and I have drop handlebars. Could switch to my other bike but it's not as fun Smile Currently working out how to keep cycling after they're born. I carry dd in a trailer but with 3, I'll have to have the two babies in the trailer and dd on a seat. Guess I'll be pretty fit at least!

flyingsprocket · 09/04/2015 10:38

Hello neharg nice to have another cyclist here! I haven't had a date for my scan yet but I'm only 9+1 so still 3 long weeks away. I had a scan at 7 weeks and saw a heartbeat but to be honest I don't think I'll be reassured til the 20 weeks scan!
