If you're due in November 2015, well here's your ante natal club! Come and talk about vomit inducing man-scents, cheese roasties you simply cannot do without/or stand, the picked ice cream you must have right now, and the bubbling desire to tell the world but checking dates to restrain yourself!

going really slowly for me too. I've always found out at around 6 weeks before, this time I've known since 10dpo!! so feels like its taking ages to get to 12 weeks. still got 5 whole weeks yet! Sad but 7 weeks today yay! Grin

cryingbabymess · 05/04/2015 18:25

I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and have known for 3 weeks and they've been the longest 3 weeks ever!!

annatha · 05/04/2015 18:43

I'm 9+4 and it's dragging for me too. My booking appointment is rearranged for tomorrow as the midwife wouldn't be able to take blood today. I forgot about that bit just as well really as I've felt sick all morning. I'm hoping that after the appointment I get my scan date soon so I've got a date to focus on.

Is everyone having a nice Easter? I made a roast dinner but oddly the beef and the stuffing (the best bits!) Made me feel sick so I just had veggies, puds and gravy. Probably the healthiest meal I've had in weeks. Was hoping to enjoy the sunshine but dh is fresh off nights so is a bit of a zombie and I'm not much better!

flyingsprocket · 05/04/2015 18:50

Me too, How can time actually move this slowly??! I'm 8+4 & I've known for 4 weeks. What's making it worse is I haven't been to work since I found out- yay 4 weeks off but it's such a massive change to my routine that I'm struggling to find stuff to do! I know I can't really complain about this and I'm sure I'll be looking back longing for these long, carefree, responsibility free days but my god they are DRAGGING!!

roughtyping · 05/04/2015 20:03

annatha I'm 9+4 too Smile feel like I've been pregnant forever!

mrscatmad31 · 05/04/2015 21:23

Been to the in laws today, baby now has two cardigans and a blanket.. im not even 10 weeks pregnant yet!

Poppyninja · 05/04/2015 21:37

Yes. 8weeks today and boy is it dragging. 12 week scan booked for 5th may ?? rather excited. MS lot better today thankfully but blimey had a real swift mood change. Poor hubby doesn't know what to do with me

TakesTwoToTango · 06/04/2015 02:25

8 weeks today here too and I've known since 3.5 weeks Shock Still nauseous, still spotting but roast lamb with mint sauce and gravy really hit the spot this evening!

idontknowmyusernameanymore · 06/04/2015 02:46

I'm 8.2 here! Due 14th November, it's been a long sicky ride since finding out around 5 weeks ago! Just 4 to go to stop hiding it, just saying hi and bookmarking my place! Star

bugoven · 06/04/2015 05:27

Morning all! Hope everyone is having a lovely Easter weekend.

Anyone else suffering from insomnia? I am awake from around 2.30am onwards, which is similar to what happened throughout my pregnancy with DS. Last time I put it down to anxiety but now I'm convinced it is newborn training.

Thankfully DP is happy to let me have a morning nap over the long weekend but next week I won't be so lucky. Amazing that my tiny little 8w5d baby already has me so well prepared.

cryingbabymess · 06/04/2015 08:13

Bugoven I woke up every hour last night! I'm shattered today! Shock Don't know how I'm going to get through the day! Thankfully my boss is off this week so should be a bit quieter!

ninjabeer · 06/04/2015 08:15

Morning all. Slept until nearly 7 today woot! I was outside yesterday and appear to have sunburn?!?!?! Will be cracking out the factor 30 today.

Is anyone else still poas? I know I'm just bring paranoid but it's the limbo of not knowing if everything is okay and it feels like an age until I'm 12 weeks. Currently 7+5.

Hope you all having a lovely weekend. Smile

sophiaslullaby · 06/04/2015 08:24

Morning all
I sleep all through the night so sorry to hear of your insomnia nurofen -at least, like you say, your in new born training! It's a nice day today so if off work maybe have a lol outside in the shade? Thing is I'm sleeping all through the night AND needing naps in the day.

Monks -no I weren't POAS at this stage (9+6). I did the one test and then just reacted my symptoms. If it's just a sickness bug then it's the worst I've ever had! I just keep fingers crossed and trust what will be will be for good reason. (No I'm no religious! :-)

sophiaslullaby · 06/04/2015 08:25

I don't know why I wrote 'monks' that's autocorrect for you. Ignore it I've only been up for 10mins !

Poppyninja · 06/04/2015 09:03

Bugoven yes to insomnia. It's really annoying me never had problems before. I love my sleep! Def need to get into training I guess for broken sleep Wink always awake 2/3 am for an hour or so

Ramadamdam · 06/04/2015 09:25

Good morning everyone. Sorry I haven't been active but I have been reading.I have been totally miserible with 24hr sickness and inablity to eat. Last week at one point I realised that I hadn't eaten or drunk in 48hrs :(

So I have booked an acupuncture session and looking forward to that. I also bought a whole load of ready meals from M&S so hopefully I will have something to eat with out having to cook.

Tinymrscollings · 06/04/2015 09:58

Hi all, been quietly lurking for a couple of weeks. Can I ask those of you who are on the approach to 12 weeks how you're feeling? By dates I'm 10+3, by scan I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow and I'm feeling...ok again

I felt utterly dreadful between 6 and 9 1/2 but that scatterbrained feeling and nausea seem to be abating. Had a scan last weekend so I assume all is still well. Still knackered and funny about food. Can't remember a thing about my pregnancy with DS or when I felt better.

Anyone else starting to see the light at the end of the T1 tunnel?

BowiesJumper · 06/04/2015 10:38

Hey hey. Happy Easter all. I hope all the sickness recedes!

I'm 9+2 today and 12 weeks still seems an age away.

I have the date for my 16wk midwife appointment but not got a 12wk scan date yet!

I'm still concerned there's not going to be anything in there anymore (since my scan 3 weeks ago) due to lack of symptoms.

annatha · 06/04/2015 10:58

tinymrscollings I've read somewhere that ms is meant to peak around 10 weeks then it should start to go completely (unless you're one of the unlucky few who suffer all through pregnancy) and I remember by about 9-10 weeks last time I felt loads better, too better actually, I was worried about my lack of symptoms! I'm 9+5 and feel fine today touches all the wood

Just had my booking appointment and I'm genuinely gutted that we're moving away. Was more like catching up with an old friend and dd was fussed over. If by the off chance any of you are in Appleby or having your babies in Carlisle, you're in very good hands!

NewMrsX · 06/04/2015 11:27

Hi everyone

Bugoven and everyone else suffering with it, sorry to hear about your insomnia. I don't have this problem but it's not all good. I'm struggling to be on time for work, never getting anything done and still feel shattered even though I'm getting lots of sleep. Ahh the joys

The highlight of my day at the moment is reading the update on my Ovia Pregnancy app. I love watching the days go up. Every time I start a new week I screenshot it and send it to DH. Today I'm 9+0 and the baby is the size of a wild strawberry apparently. I definitely recommend it as its keeping me up when I'm low

annatha · 06/04/2015 11:53

I'll have to have a look for that app, thanks! I loved pregnancy+ on the iPhone last time but it doesn't load as well on android.

cryingbabymess · 06/04/2015 11:54

NewMrsX I'm exactly the same with the Ovia app! I send my DP a screenshot of what size it is and what info it gives me etc! I love it. I'm exactly a week behind you! Smile

I'm seriously suffering at work today, I'm exhausted and have a thirst that will not go away! Off out for lunch soon to find juice that will help and also sick bands from boots!!

Also random question for you all....what does heartburn feel like?! Confused I've never had it but thinking I do now but not 100% sure!

CoffeeTwo · 06/04/2015 13:22

Afternoon ladies, hope you're having a lovely Easter weekend!

I've been very nauseous over the last few days and been 'sick' a few times but it's only when I have an empty stomach so it's more retching or spitting up stomach acid (sorry). So I figured the key is to not let my stomach get empty, easier said than done though. It's worst in the even once my food has been digested, then through the night or in the morning. Need to keep something by my bed to nibble on!

I'm jealous of all of you nearing the end of the first trimester. I'm only 6+4 and I've known for over 3 weeks! It's going so slowly. I'm glad I booked an early scan but even that is a week away and it feels like forever. Just want to know the little tot is ok.
