My nausea feels exactly like motion sickness which I get really badly unless I'm driving! I've not been sick though. Only thing that works is 'keeping my tummy busy' i.e. Stuffing my face Blush hope you're all feeling better soon! Had a meeting with the oral health lady at my booking in appt, it was basically exactly what we're told as teachers before we start doing toothbrushing with a class Hmm

BlueBananas · 28/03/2015 19:16

I've just sent DP to Boots (he was less than impressed) i will report back, it says they work instantly so fingers crossed!

BlueBananas · 28/03/2015 21:03

Well I've had them on for about 1 & 1/2 hours and I can actually feel a difference! I don't feel completely better like I was hoping but I do feel less shit, and for the first time all week I actually want to eat something, so definite progress
Now, to have what I fancy - a toasted tea cake, or what will be easier on the way back up like porridge or soup? Decisions...

Lauramum23 · 28/03/2015 21:21

Well pretty regular day here but nice birthdays are not the same when u r an adult are they!? Felt quite queezy on and off all day mega tired and holy shit my tits hurt!
I can safely say I will not be rushing back to KFC for a long time quite a disappointment Hmm I'm glad that craving has been and gone SmileSmile

cryingbabymess · 28/03/2015 22:08

Evening ladies! I have come to the conclusion that I don't have MS I have NS (night sickness!)

ashboo76 · 28/03/2015 23:05

After 48 hours my blessings stopped fx night night all hope MS or NS goes away xx

Unthoughtknown · 29/03/2015 06:48

Travel sickness bands at the best! Unfortunately I managed to lose one but one is better than nothing. I am about to fly back from a ten day trip overseas, feel okay but the nausea is definitely kicking in! Mainly during the night and first thing in the morning.

HeirToTheIronThrone · 29/03/2015 09:18

Ok, does anyone else have massive nipples??

Lauramum23 · 29/03/2015 09:28

Yes to the big nipples! Shock

CishAndFips · 29/03/2015 09:47

fx ashmy nipples arent massive but they are permanantley sticking out. worried im going to take someones eyes out Blush

Lauramum23 · 29/03/2015 09:49

And I got up for a pee 4 times last night!!!! That is so annoying!

BlueBananas · 29/03/2015 10:32

These bands are definitely working, I usually feel sick all day but only actual be sick in the middle if the night (between 2 & 4 generally) I slept with these bands on and slept right through last night, no vomit atall Grin

And yes to the big nipples, mine always get really big and darker too, DP loves them - weirdo Hmm

Crumbelina · 29/03/2015 11:30

YY to the bands - I have mine back on now the nausea has ramped up and they definitely take the edge of it. Mine were £8 something for the blue Boots ones.

Crumbelina · 29/03/2015 11:31

And press down on them when the nausea is feeling really bad - that really helps.

roughtyping · 29/03/2015 11:33

Same as cish. Only realised when I was wearing a sports bra under work clothes (all I can fit into just now) and realised just how obvious. Cringe.

cryingbabymess · 29/03/2015 11:34

I think I need to venture to boots for these bands! Although morning I'm alright, as long as I have toast!

Ahhh just had my best mate on the phone speaking about going to see her Tuesday. He DS is 6 months and she has always said she's keeping all his toys etc and her maternity stuff for me so it was super difficult not to tell her today. I'm planning on telling her Tuesday face to face anyway! Smile

The other difficult thing is my BIL and SIL are coming round today and my OH is close to his bro so is dying to tell him but I keep saying I want my dad to know first, am I being selfish? Shock Should we just tell them when they come round? We'd be telling them next week anyway. Also if we don't tell them I don't know how I'm going to survive the day as I always smoke with my SIL and she will know something is up!

Help!!! Confused

Mamama31 · 29/03/2015 11:53

Crying baby, it's up to you when you tell them but they might guess anyway if you don't. I'd probably go ahead and say if it were me, but you have to do what feels right for you. I don't think it matters the order you tell people, as long as you do it face to face with those close to you when you see them.

cryingbabymess · 29/03/2015 12:15

I've just got it in my head that my dad needs to be the first to know but he's home from hols tomorrow so I dunno just feel a bit selfish!

MissMrsMummy · 29/03/2015 12:16

Hi everyone

Glad to hear the bands are working!

Sadly my brown spotting has turned red. Spoken to out of hours and I just have to wait. Not feeling hopeful Sad

Mamama31 · 29/03/2015 12:58

Missmrs I'm so sorry to hear this, get some rest I really hope things turn out ok. I'm still very anxious with my spotting, going to call GP tomorrow and it just can't come soon enough.

Mamama31 · 29/03/2015 12:59

Are you having any cramps?

ashboo76 · 29/03/2015 13:05

Mama stay positive and ring your EPu tomo (they were the only sympathetic ones after ringing docs and mw ) they will get you straight in for an early scan. I've got mine tomo after period cramps and bleeding on thu that didn't stop til last night. It doesn't necessarily mean the worst but I'd recommend rest. I worked yesterday after they sent me home two hours of rest and they stopped ??

ashboo76 · 29/03/2015 13:06

Sorry that message was for you mrsmummy !

MissMrsMummy · 29/03/2015 13:29

Thank you ash and mama I have spoken to epu and you were right, the nurse was lovely. She said not to worry unless it's like a full-blown period. I have had some more bright red blood so it's not looking good. No pain but some cramping. Too early for a scan but I can book one for 10 days if all still ok.

Sorry to bring the board down with this news! At least if we lose this one we know we can conceive so there is hope. ash fx for you tomorrow x

Mamama31 · 29/03/2015 13:45

Missmrs I'm so hoping the bleeding stops for you, so scary. So how far along would you be in 10 days? Just wondering what the earliest time is that they will scan you? Take it easy today, it's such a stressful time. Hugs!!
