Yes I'm the same Missmrs! Don't know what's wrong with me I have cried all morning!!! (I am honestly not like this at all!) off with DH to walk the dog and feed the ducks, then out for dinner again! (can you tell he's trying to cheer me up lol). I hope I'm not this dramatic all through my pregnancy or you will be banning me from this thread!!!!!

Mamama31 · 28/03/2015 15:22

Missmrs did you get an implantation bleed? I had that for 3 days just though af was on its way but then nothing for 5 days which is why I tested! (usually spot right up until af arrives) and got a bfp!

Dixiebell · 28/03/2015 15:35

Anyone out there not on their first pg, did anyone suffer from sore hips at nighttime? I did both times, starting about 17 weeks... It was so painful by the end, I couldn't sleep for more than 20 mins at a time. In the end I resorted to sleeping propped upright which was marginally better. Anyway I'm hoping to implement preventative measures..anyone found anything that eased it? I'm wondering about buying a memory foam mattress topper to see if that helps...anyone got one and have a recommendation?

Mama your implantation bleed was it like a period?

Mamama31 · 28/03/2015 16:19

No Ash it was very light occasional browny/red streaks and very light spotting over a 3 day period 6-9dpo. Did you have it?

Mamama31 · 28/03/2015 16:20

7-9dpo not 6 actually.

FlossyLil · 28/03/2015 16:27

Mamama31 and MissMrsMummy - I had brown spotting/discharge from before my bfp. I thought it was AF for sure, as like you this was normally the clue it would start. However it went on without turning to a proper period, so did a test and bfp. Was a bit worried as the brown continued, but gradually got less over the next week until just before I was 5 weeks. I mentioned this to doctor and they said it was absolutely fine - so try not to worry.

TwoBeesInTheHive · 28/03/2015 16:37

so we told some friends today. turns out they already knew. through a friend, who heard through his wife's sister. who knows MIL and SIL. seriously I am so angry and so upset I don't know what to do. I don't know who else knows. could be loads of people if they are all blabbing to everyone. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and so not ready to deal with this. what would you do?? would you still wait to announce to everyone at 12 weeks after scan? risking everyone already knowing? or would you beat them to the punch and announce now when it's likely most people still haven't heard? I don't feel ready for everyone to know but maybe its better than not knowing who knows and who doesnt and it gradually spreading on its own anyway. argh I really can't believe it I'm completely gutted AngrySad

Mama no didn't have it just wondering if that's what I have now.

Twobees that's awful! I bet you're fuming and rightly so. Go with your gut instinct. People will always understand that it's early and you didn't want to tell ... I've lied to 3 friends this weekend over wine invites and a tummy bug I'd love to say I'm pregnant But it's too early for me while I'm not sure what's happening. If all goes well or indeed if it doesn't when they do finally know they will understand ... That's what friends do ... I'd understand if it was the other way around xx

roughtyping · 28/03/2015 17:21

I'm still spotting Sad trying hard not to keep googling, especially as I've seen baby's heartbeat last week. EPU were great - had my booking in app this week and MW phoned them, they invited me back for another scan but it stressed me out a lot last time, don't want to go unless I really have to. Is that stupid?

I am beyond irritable at the moment. And so hungry still. Hmph.

Mamama31 · 28/03/2015 17:36

Thanks Flossy! That's very reassuring :)

Twobees that is so annoying I'd be livid. I wouldn't be wanting to tell everyone if it were me I would address it with the people who know and say you absolutely do not want anyone else to know until you are ready to tell them. But I know it's a hard situation to deal with!

Roughtyping I understand where you are coming from I'm sure the build up to the scan to find out if everything is ok is so stressful. Do what you feel is right for yourself.

Ash I think implantation is generally between 6 and 14dpo. But apparently there are lots of reasons for early bleeding (I've googled them all of course) and mostly it seems that there are no good reasons! But hoping for you that everything is ok and that your scan goes well on Monday. It's such a stressful time for you try to take it easy until the scan.

roughtyping · 28/03/2015 17:39

Thanks maman. Still reading back to catch up - my goodnes you can all chat Grin

BlueBananas · 28/03/2015 17:49

Hello!
Bit late to the party (am I allowed to join in?) I'm due 09/11/15 with baby #3 so I'm 7+4 (I think)
Morning sickness has kicked in the last couple of days, thought I'd escaped it this time as I usually start much earlier, anyone else? Thinking of trying sickness bands, I've never tried them before has anyone got any experience with them? I'd forgotten how horrible this stage is!

BlueBananas · 28/03/2015 17:51

Just seen the stats on the previous page, I'm 25, just in case I'm accepted into the club Blush

Bronzemoth · 28/03/2015 18:05

bluebananas welcome. I'm sure it's an open invite. You can add yourself by copying and pasting.

Sorry I'm going to be a bit of s weekend poster. Work is full on especially when combined with a toddler. lol eased to catch up and find the bleeding scares seem to be turning out ok.

twobees I would be fuming and have dh straight in the phone.

I've not been feeling pregnant. I think the first felt such an event and I'm sure I had quite early symptoms and I thinl this one isn't quite as exciting which I feel bad about. But equally feeling good that I'm feeling relaxed and not a mad googling ball of anxiety. Also I went Rock climbing today and realised I did dial back anything too risky which means that I do still believe I am. Sorry for waffling.

Bronzemoth · 28/03/2015 18:06

Not lol eased I mean pleased

CishAndFips · 28/03/2015 18:08

welcome blue not heard of sickness bands what are they. really struggling with nausea today

FlossyLil · 28/03/2015 18:16

Sickness bands are the travel sea bands you can buy for travel sickness, that you wear on your wrists. I've been trying them to see if they help as heard about them for MS, but can't say either way whether they've made a difference. If they have it's not a big difference as still got the nausea alot of the time, but may be different for others.

BlueBananas · 28/03/2015 18:33

Ah I see, I thought the OP was doing all the stat handling for some reason, my phone won't let me c&p, if someone could add me on the list i'd really appreciate it Smile
Flossy I've heard a few people say the sickness bands didn't completely cure the sickness, just sort of took the edge off and usually stopped the vomiting but not the nausea, I'd be happy with any kind of break ATM so I'll probably pick some up and pray they work!

Sleeplessinnorthlondon · 28/03/2015 18:38

Twobees in exactly same boat - think you need partner's support here as shouldnt be you that has to fight the battles when it's his family. Made it clear to my dh that he needs to make it clear with them we won't tell them any more news if they can't keep it private as requested...will see if he actually does though, tends to like an easy life...

CishAndFips · 28/03/2015 18:46

ok thanks flossy

Stroan · 28/03/2015 18:52

I bought sickness bands today and feel like they've taken the edge off the nausea a little. Although that could be my imagination - I'll try anything!

Boots have them in the travel section, with flight socks!

Mamama31 · 28/03/2015 19:08

Welcome bluebananas! That's a great tip about the sickness bands, I will be keeping that in mind for when MS kicks in. Still just having lots of food aversions but no actual sickness.
