Happy Birthday lady! You are so right, without champers it's gotta be about the cake! And lots of it! :) enjoy your day!

Also happy Birthday to your hubby lauramum! Have you anything nice planned for him? Some joint bday celebrations at the wkend? 32 is fine, I'm 33 but started ttc at 31 so wasn't quite prepared for coming 34 when baba is finally here. It's all taken so long, I feel I've lost 2 years of my life wishing/worrying/hoping! But I'm not complaining it has all been worth it to get my bfp :)

BowiesJumper · 25/03/2015 10:32

Happy birthday LadyStark !

I'll also be pregnant (fingers crossed!) on my birthday in August, I'll be 35! Eek!

HeirToTheIronThrone · 25/03/2015 10:35

Ha ha Dixiebell - I know what you mean about the biscuits being a giveaway - I have a pack of ginger snaps on my desk and am convinced people are looking at them and will see right away why I have them :)
I am 6 weeks today! It's going so slowly!

Lauramum23 · 25/03/2015 10:39

The kids are at my mums Friday night so we will do something I'm not sure what as we are just a bit skint lol, nothing much on tonight it's parents evening!! Exiting not. So just tea and cake for us. Don't think he's best pleased at the big 4-0 tbh Shocktho I'm sure he will get over it lol
This is why I wanted one more because we started early I was only 20 when I had my first and 26 when I had third child I just thought I've done it all and there's so many my age only on thier 1st child! I'll be bored and I've got so much more to give I love children! So I managed to talk him round ( he did originally want 4 but then changed his mind when I said come on then!) I'm trying not to get exited after last months disappointment but I'm hoping this is gonna be ok, I've had 3 easy pregnancies which I'm thankful for just hope this one follows suit! I have more symptoms than the last pregnancy so that should be a good sign. Smile

tootsroots · 25/03/2015 10:42

penny I have not heard much about rib pain this early on? Do you still have it?
Welcome sasha
Focus loving how you are totally focussed on health.. hehe - I am trying ginger in boiling water at work right now. Fresh ginger! I cannot abide salt at the mo... makes me gag.. weird!
I seem to be suffering from 'teenager' food cravings. Wotsits.. malteasers, pizza and ... PESTO PASTA. om nomnomn. then I am sick but it is worth it! DH does not agree. He has made me promise to eat spinach today. hmmm.

BowiesJumper · 25/03/2015 11:00

Watercress has more iron in it than spinach if that helps? ha.

Mamama31 · 25/03/2015 11:21

Lauramum the symptoms are hopefully a good sign for you. I'm hoping for an easy pregnancy I was so sick last time, I'd love to just enjoy it this time. Enjoy your eve with your hubby! Sure 40 is the new 30 ;)

I'm quite lucky in work, everyone loves ginger biscuits so we always have them and no one will suspect a thing when I wolf them down me!

TakesTwoToTango · 25/03/2015 12:27

Happy birthday lady!!

stace glad to hear things have settled for you.

I had pesto pasta for dinner here too. With tomatoes peas and broccoli to make me feel like I was at least getting some nutrition. Made me feel so sick.

Still bleeding here. Relatively lightly but red still. The dr said it could go on all pg!

BowiesJumper · 25/03/2015 12:33

Yeah my sister (midwife) said some people bleed/spot all through their pregnancy. This was when I was freaking out about my spotting.

mrsscarlettbutler · 25/03/2015 13:23

Hi all. So pleased you had a good scan TakesTwo

Im 8 weeks today and I'm bleeding again, 4th time now - last time was a week ago. Thought it had gone but apparently not! Trying really hard not to freak out, it seems to have slowed down after the initial bit this morning but I keep thinking I have cramping (this could well be wind..!) I also dont feel as sick as I did yesterday which is worrying me as well.

Having the day from hell - combined with the bleeding, this morning started with my boss having a go at me about something that happened while I was off ill last week (so completely out of my control). Ended up crying in her office and telling her that I'm pregnant. Which I REALLY didnt want to do but I've just been overwhelmed with stress at work lately, which she is contributing to and I just wanted her to back off.

She was very nice about it, but it doesnt really change anything.
I just want to go home and cry, but having to pull together two urgent releases (work in PR) instead.

BowiesJumper · 25/03/2015 13:39

oh mrsscarlett that's shit. How heavy is the bleeding? Here's hoping it buggers off and all is well!

I hope your boss backs off too!

I've just been given my next project so had to fess up to my big boss because it runs into December, and involves going out on a shoot at the start of July (work in TV). I think it'll be ok, but I had to share at 7wks rather than 12, which I didn't want to do! She won't tell anyone though.

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 25/03/2015 13:47

I'm feeling truly hellish - like being constantly hungover mixed with car sickness. I felt exactly like this with DS so convinced this baby is a boy

I just wNt to lie down on the bed in the dark and keep my head totally still - unfortunately not an option!

Good news is that I have gone titally of crap food and can only really stomach fruit and very cold water. Cooking is like hell - I feel like looping a carrier bag handle over each ear just to be on the safe side to catch any sick in a nosebag!

Hope all bleeding settles down soon

Hope

Lauramum23 · 25/03/2015 14:08

Gobblin that's how I feel today totally poo! Not actually been sick but I feel tired out I've just had a nana nap in fact!
I've got an hour to chill then I've got to pick kids up and go to swimming lessons Shock hate it cos it's mega busy down there! By the time parents evening finishes I'll want to curl up in a ball and sleep! Im glad of half term next week so not rushing about

stace1986 · 25/03/2015 14:14

I am feeling like i have a hangover today which of course I haven't! So tired and grumpy. Just eaten my own body weight in strawberry laces. Willing it to be friday already to have my scan, no more bleeding. so hoping for the best. Reassuring to know others have had this and gone on to have healthy pregnancies/babies :)

tootsroots · 25/03/2015 14:22

gobo carrier bag idea - inspired. I need this as I sitting at my desk slow breathing as the man next to me has the audacity to eat an egg sandwich must not be ill however taking focus's PMA - am eating some cold fresh fruit right now - Melon is blissful.

Ladies and Team November. I believe I am the victim of a SEVERE medical emergency or a horrid prank I seem shudder to have groan wail a moustache overnight. WTF.

Mamama31 · 25/03/2015 15:28

Toots that made me giggle!!!! Haha! Get some wax strips they will do the job. I have very light hairs but I wax them off monthly, I am uber paranoid that others can see them even though others tell me they can't see them. Could be worse....could be a beard lol

HeirToTheIronThrone · 25/03/2015 15:32

Send him my way Toots, I am craving egg sandwiches! White bread only please :)

Lauramum23 · 25/03/2015 15:52

I get hairier in pregnancy too! Horrid, regarding the tache I beach mine as waxing top lip makes me spotty! U could try that?? Boots own brand hair lightner it takes minutes too.

Mamama31 · 25/03/2015 15:56

Scared of turning in to a hairy beast....

tootsroots · 25/03/2015 15:59

What is worse than a tash?? SPELLING MISTAKES!!! Groan.. I meant GROWN.

Blush

Just popped to Boots.. have wax strips. I cannot seem to fit any more spots on my face so will give it a go. will also review the 4 black hairs that appeared under my belly button over night

Mamama31 · 25/03/2015 16:07

Nice work toots! Wax strips are just the ticket...make sure you moisturise after to get rid of the red skin...

Lauramum23 · 25/03/2015 16:28

I went to aqua fit yesterday morning luckily I put my cossie on before leaving the house cos when I looked down there was a hell if a lot of pant moustache on showShock thank god I had some of them ready wax strips on hand I whipped the worse off and did it properly last night!! soon we won't be able to see our lady gardensGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

BowiesJumper · 25/03/2015 16:34

Haha! I'm always hairy because I have pcos, I'm hoping to God it gets BETTER not worse in pregnancy!!

BowiesJumper · 25/03/2015 16:36

I asked my sister how most women were down there during labour etc. She said most were wild and free. I guess by that point you can't reach it yourself to tidy up and you can't be arsed to go and get someone else to do it?! Ehem.
