Thanks for all the birthday wishes. It's not a cold glass of fizz but I have had some delicious lemon drizzle cake this afternoon and off out for dinner in an hour or so.

Just need to work up and appetite for something other than crap food! Last night I had curly fries and chicken kiev, basically only want school dinner type food.

Had my booking in appointment, all fine.

Had a bit of a bleed again this mornig but seems to have settled now. Midwife contacted EPU but don't think I need to go.

Was in the shower this morning and had to sit down, when I got out had to crawl to room to lie down. Felt terrible, kept heaving, was dizzy and so shaky. Boo! Hate this bit!

On the subject of down there.. I had my booking in appointment today. I got a brilliant leaflet for post natal physiotherapy classes. One of the things it says it helps with is:

"get the area where the baby has just come out from back to normal quickly"

Perish the thought that women who have just spent a good few hours stripped to the waist at least and pushing a baby out might be indelicate enough to be comfortable with the word 'pelvic floor' or, god forbid, 'vagina'

Sadly I think my area where the baby has just come out from is beyond help, but a kind thought

That's one of my worries! What do you do with it when you can't see it? I'm not brave enough for a wax! Lol.

Hello everyone! S1mmy is back!

After my traumatic experience with two miscarriages in a six month period in 2013, we are finally up the duff again. (started trying again in Aug 2014)

Have just today POAS and things are confirmed! yay! Nervous, sh1tscared, excited and panicky but I am determined to keep this baby and see it through.

Think my EDD is 28th Nov but have yet to book in dr or EPU. Have updated the list below and put baby #3, is that right? (obviously can't forget my other two precious babies that didn't make it into the world)

happy birthday lady and congrats s1mmy so had pregnancy induced rage earlier. dh came home and put the deep fat fryer on omg the smell made me retch. then he sat down next to me on the couch and started munching away i wanted to smack the plate into his stupid face. disclaimer i am normally a rationale person and love my dh.

So much for me being chuft that the sickness goes away after i have vomited spent since 5pm vomiting pretty consistantly. Trying to cook and serve tea was horrific!

I've had a bit of a scare today. Pink in urine on wiping a few times then bright red blood streaked discharge. Rang hospital and told early assessment place had closed at 11am. Spoke to ante natal ward and a midwife was quite red to me and said the can't do anything as I'm only 5 + 4, told me it wasn't normal and probably was a sign things weren't going well. Told me not to teach my classes for a few days and see what happens. Pfft! Hoping it is all okay and normal. Did another test and still pregnant and feel horrendous so!

That midwife you spoke to doesn't sound the caring sort!! I've had pink when wiping and then a bit of red spotting and was referred to the epu. All ok on scan and no heavier bleeding so far (fingers crossed) so it's not always bad!! She sounds like she was just a bit fed up. Cow bag!

You have to cut and paste to update the stats list.

I would be tempted to ring the EPAU again in the morning and get advice from them. I hope the bleeding has stopped.

Hope your spotting goes away. You could go have a private scan I guess. But the thing is, you shouldn't have to, should do, as you are entitled to prompt and necessary care on the nhs. I know it's so hard to sometimes find the strength to keep calling and persist, but persist you must till the EPU see you. What if you get an urgent morning appointment with your gp and get a referral through him or her?

Been awake since 5.30am! But I did fall asleep at 10pm last night so I guess that still counts as a full nights sleep. My insomnia is improving but all this waking so early is the opposite of what I'm usually like lol I normally have to drag myself out of bed each day, but soon as I wake now I'm bright as a button and up for the day! Crazy! (I need my sleep now while I can still get it!!!!)

After 3 long days at work, I'm enjoying a relaxing bath this morning, with a big fat smile on my face because I've just done another CB digi and got 3+ Yey!! I'm 5+5 today. The paranoia is still there but feeling better seeing that. Hope you ladies are all feeling well this morning
