I don't know Dixie, but my first is a boy too and I hardly had any MS with him. I wasn't really that tired either. I did have incredibly painful boobs though. I had to sleep with a bra on or they kept me awake all night Grin. I also had very clear skin and I put on an awful lot of weight.

This time I feel rotten and tired and covered in spots, but my boobs feel normal period sore. Completely different experience thus far. I hope that means I don't put on quite as much this time round.

HeirToTheIronThrone · 23/03/2015 12:21

Ash I have those cramps too - almost like period pain, have had them on and off since a few days before we found out so that's about 2 weeks now. I have done a lot of looking and I think they're fine as long as you don't have bleeding.

I am v nauseous today, having to keep grazing to keep it at bay. Also (sorry if tmi) my nipples seem bigger than usual! Weird.

BowiesJumper · 23/03/2015 12:30

crying that is fairly early but if it's when your midwives want to do it then it's fine! Mine is next week at 8+3 so not vastly different. Mine is earlyish because I went to see the doctor and was in the system so early (3+6!) though I think!

Do you your midwives have a clinic at your GP's then? That's handy. I have to go to the hospital for my booking in.

ashboo76 · 23/03/2015 12:32

Thank you Heir no bleeding at all so all ok I'm sure. hoping work ok tomo. Told them it was period pain last week need a new excuse lol.

Massive range of symptoms we have so nice to share with people and get a human response rather than scouring google like crazy .. Thank you xx

cryingbabymess · 23/03/2015 12:34

Bowies I phone the surgery and said I'm pregnant I need an appt with the midwife and gave the date of 30th, I've a day off and she asked how far I would be so I said 7 and that was that! Yea they've got their own wing at the surgery but I've a funny feeling I'll need to go to a different one once I register with the other surgery!

My nipples feel super swollen too Heir! I think I'm noticing it a bit more as I've got 1 of them pierced! Blush

stace1986 · 23/03/2015 13:06

I am really struggling with the nausea today. :( feeling terrible.

Crumbelina · 23/03/2015 13:13

Mama Smile I understand nausea and not sleeping when you're 30+ weeks, but now? I don't think it's helped by the fact that I instantly need the loo the moment I wake up.

Oh Stace, lots of us know the feeling. Sad Are there any foods/drink that help you?

Mamama31 · 23/03/2015 13:44

Just got my app with GP for 16th April, ill be 7 and a half weeks by then so I think that's a good time to get the ball rolling! Just wishing the weeks away so much!! Going to try and keep very busy to make the time go faster.

tootsroots · 23/03/2015 13:47

stace and crying I am
also struggling badly with Ms - all day and getting worse by 8pm retching and gagging to the point I am panicking about food , the idea and the kitchen sets me shaking! So far I am 7+1 and off work today as I feel so weak and sick - since I found out at 4weeks I have lost 3kgs...last night Dh was amZing and pretty much pressured me into a plain salmon and rice bowl- I ate it crying but wow I felt so better after!

I saw my booking midwife at 5+5 but my lmp was dec!

Hope you are all doing ok!

cryingbabymess · 23/03/2015 13:50

Toots that's not good!!! I seem to be ok eating, I've not tried to cook anything yet! At least it's only mince tonight!

stace1986 · 23/03/2015 13:51

Crumbelina I am finding either something sweet or ready salted crisps help but only as long as I am eating them. Five mins after I stop its back again. :( I'll be the size of a house by my EDD at this rate!

BowiesJumper · 23/03/2015 14:08

Apart from very occasional bouts of nausea I'm not feeling sick at all... which of COURSE is worrying me. Ha. Never happy!

Mamama31 · 23/03/2015 14:34

I'm finding I am not really very hungry but I am eating meals and healthy snacks, fine whilst eating but afterwards feel either bloated badly or just a bit off. I'm kindof dizzy today as well, even when I'm sitting down!

thatduck · 23/03/2015 14:37

Hello there ladies :)
I got my bfp today! I'm over the moon/terrified
Edd 29/11/15 and It will be my 1st child if all goes well and the bean sticks

ashboo76 · 23/03/2015 14:47

Hi thatduck Congratulations! I only got my BfP Friday still unbelievable my EDD is 20/11 so excited my first god willing too Smile

thatduck · 23/03/2015 14:52

I took a picture of the stick and keep looking at it at work because I don't believe it's real. I've been ttc since September and both df and I were getting a bit down about it not happening, I showed him the stick we was a bit indifferent, is that normal anyone?

Lauramum23 · 23/03/2015 15:10

Hi ladies! My boobies are sore today and I'm quite frankly buggered! I've been at work today ( new job bee there 3 weeks) then got bfp ! only cleaning hotel rooms but just needed extra cash. But it's bloody hard work!
Anyways im pooped and I've got to go and get my 3 from school in a mo can't arsedto shift.
Congrats on the new ladies, men don't always get giddy till scans etc so don't worry.
I've got my booking in appointment in 2 weeks, I'm hoping I get an early scan to see dates as I've not had a period after I miscarried last month. So I'm not 100% sure of dates but I'm guessing around 24th November ish??

Crumbelina · 23/03/2015 15:16

Ahh, Stace – you’re the same as me. I’m all about sugar and crisps and plain boring food. I still can’t look at a vegetable (bad, I know).

Oh Toots, I really feel for you. I was exactly the same a few weeks ago – really bad by 8pm. I was staying at the in-laws at the time and I’d come home and be presented with a big dinner which made me feel like I’d be sick there and then. I’d be walking back from the train station physically heaving at the thought of what I’d be given (aren’t I grateful). Smile I ended up coming home late so I didn’t have to eat with them and could scrape 90% of it on to DH’s plate. They were truly dark days. Wink

halestone · 23/03/2015 15:18

Duck i've found that like us the men seem to go through every stage possible in the next couple of months. Indifference to Elation to saying it can't be done should we terminate? back to elation, back to worrying about things massively.

Congratulations to all the new BFPs Thanks

Lilliana · 23/03/2015 15:20

I can barely keep up with all the chat! :(

Managed to get a bridesmaid dress that will be perfect at 5months pg without having to tell anyone I am pg - God knows how but it worked out well :)

No symptoms here but v tired and waking early. DD is being woken early by the birds too so we're both shattered and on the sofa now.

Still waiting for a phone call from the mw for my booking in app. I have changed surgeries since last time so really want to meet her and see what they are like as my last one was brilliant and she has a lot to live up to!

Will try to be around a bit more so we can get to know each other

Thatduck we've been ttc since sep too! Got a little lapse as nothing happening only actually 'did it 3 times last month so couldn't believe the BFP sorry if that's tmi .. My DH even joked about the milkman so don't worry he'll be bouncing soon enough xx

stace1986 · 23/03/2015 16:39

Crumbelina I know I wish vegetables and fruit were curing my nausea rather than crips and chocs! :) oh well anything to keep it at bay!

Toots I feel your pain! Hope you manage to eat something today

TakesTwoToTango · 23/03/2015 16:44

Hi all. I'm having a crappy day. Upset tum that I'm scared is food poisoning and spotting. Passed a few very tiny clots last night but slowed to just a bit of pink when wiping today. Lots of nausea too so on the whole feeling a bit sorry for myself. Added to which I'm on my own looking after two dcs under 4 and in a new country (only moved a few days ago) so have no doctor and no access to anything but emergency health care for a few weeks until permanent arrangements kick in. Not sure what amounts to an pg-related emergency, but pretty sure a bit of spotting and a loose movement or two is not it. So feeling pretty alone and at sea Sad

BowiesJumper · 23/03/2015 17:08

Aw TakesTwo , sorry to hear that. So there isn't an EPU equivalent there? That is frustrating for you.
