Fitnotfatthistime · 22/03/2015 21:25

Hiya! Nice to speak to another fitness instructor! I'm really excited to be pregnant and fit this time :) what did u teach? I teach Les Mills pump, combat, jam and balance and I do outdoor Bootcamps and HIIT classes. The Bodybalance will be fine as yoga based, pump fine as can lower weights and incline my bench, Bodyjam is dance so I will just have to drop intensity and range of movement I think. But combats the problem! It's not even recommended for participants now. Going to have to be careful. I am excited but apprehensive about teaching preggers. Great to make contact :)

Fitnotfatthistime · 22/03/2015 21:30

Hi ch - no tips on containing excitement I'm afraid :) congratulations!

I'm not feeling morning sickness yet I don't think but only 5 weeks. I found out yesterday and for the previous 4 days I had gastroenteritis! I've lost 8lbs in 4 days as been so ill. I felt so sick it made me think to check when my period was due! Which lead to the test yesterday. Forcing myself to eat today to try and get some strength back. Can't believe I've had such a bad bout of D&V in such early stages of pregnancy

TwoBeesInTheHive · 22/03/2015 22:04

fitnotfat I worked more in the gym and personal training than classes, and the ones I did teach were mainly circuits so I didn't have to do much other than keep time and torture people Grin

annatha · 22/03/2015 22:16

walkd I found that snacking on dry crackers pretty much constantly really helped (especially first thing in the morning- keep a little tub by the bed), and also crunching on ice as I struggled to drink much water without bringing it back up. I ended up craving ice pops all through my last pregnancy, I think all the ice early on started it off!

cryingbabymess · 23/03/2015 06:53

Omg I feel horrendous this morning!!! Confused Sitting eating a digestive on the train wondering how I'm going to get through the day?! Sad I don't deal with feeling ill well!

ch1134 · 23/03/2015 07:36

So sorry! Hope it subsides...
Just wanted to say a huge congrats to all, but especially those who ttc for ages... it must feel amazing to have a baby on the way!

Mamama31 · 23/03/2015 08:25

Morning ladies! I am thinking today is cd30 (crazy I'm still thinking like this lol) and my cycles are usually 23-25 days. So I'm at least 5 days past my missed period! Why does this excite me?!!! Haha! I think this calls for another preggo test end of the week followed by a digi this time next week to reassure me that the weeks are going up on the conception indicator! (what am I like?!)

Morning CH, congrats to you too!!! It is certainly a fabulous feeling after ttc for 19 months and on the waiting list for ivf! Such a relief it happened naturally (eventually!) but also just so so so grateful, it's still very surreal! Really believed ivf was our only option! Ecstatic beyond words :)

CoffeeTwo · 23/03/2015 10:02

Mamama I'm still testing, I just did my second digi this morning and got 2-3 weeks! I've got one left so I'm going to test again in a week and hope I get a 3+!

19 months is such a long time to try. I was trying for 8 months (7 cycles) and it felt like an eternity. I'm still waiting for someone to tell me this isn't real. Keeping everything crossed that we all have uneventful healthy boring pregnancies!

Mamama31 · 23/03/2015 10:38

Coffee! Yay 2-3 wks! Love that! I am going to do just a cheap test through this week for reassurance but saving my last digi for next week as I really want to see 3+ on it!!!!

19 months felt like forever, I must say I lost positivity from time to time (mainly first 2 days of af) but I managed to keep myself sane always hoping and believing it would happen. I did have quite a dark period of time when we had our referral to the fertility clinic, it was all so overwhelming and I couldn't believe it had come to that! I took it for granted we would conceive quickly and the realisation that we needed treatment was a lot to take in! But I had a lot of support from friends and DH was fab! I also had lots of prayers coming my way from others and that kept me going.

I agree, I hope we have a very boring and uneventful pregnancy! But for now we must celebrate with our pee sticks each week!!! Haha!!!

Mamama31 · 23/03/2015 10:39

Ps coffee what is your edd?

CoffeeTwo · 23/03/2015 10:51

I'm 4+4 today, due 26th November :)

Those are my calculations from ovulation, I have longish cycles so from my lmp I'm 5+2 but I know I'll get moved back at my scan.

So glad you got there in the end Flowers

Bumpingalong84 · 23/03/2015 11:09

I hadn't thought about doing another digi test I only had my 1-2 weeks, it would be nice to see a 2-3 or 3+ so might have to do one towards end of the week.
Agree with you ladies, here to a boring, uneventful pregnancy Smile

cryingbabymess · 23/03/2015 11:10

Congratulations to the new comers GrinGrin

I cannot shift the MS/nausea today! Digestives seem to work for me! Already had 3 and that's all I took with me! Wish I took the whole packet! Confused it is 6 weeks exactly today and that seems to be when the MS hits!

I'm drinking loads of water too! After me worrying about not being able to drink tea and buying decaf tea bags I've not had a cup for over a week! I must have gone off them!

Trousers were a bit tight today, I'm more bloated than anything else though! I've also got a headache today!

Mamama31 · 23/03/2015 11:18

Thanks coffee! Your slightly ahead of me then my edd is 29th Nov, I have short cycles (which meant loads of cycles in the 19 months ttc :/)

Good luck with app Annbag!

Bumping do it!!!! Another digi with 3+ would be exciting :)

Crying, I am just waiting for the MS to hit I had it bad last time (albeit 14 yrs ago!!!) but it was pretty horrendous! (I was skinny though lol)
I have been enjoying peppermint tea, I did however cut way down on caffeine over the last 6 months having only one coffee each morning and decaf or peppermint or fruit teas throughout the day. So I'm not missing it and actually don't feel like drinking coffee. I'm loving the peppermint tea and it's very good for bloating also as well as being quite refreshing to drink in nicer weather :)

Bumpingalong84 · 23/03/2015 11:25

Mamama31 I'm 5+2 today, when would you test to get a 3+?

I'm feeling really good today, no nausea as yet!! Wondering how things will be this time next week. It's so weird being at work with no one other than my bosses knowing!!

Crying, I hope your nausea settles soon.

ashboo76 · 23/03/2015 11:27

Morning girls as not told anyone except DH this is a great outlet for just sort of talking outloud. I work from home on a Monday (yes very lucky) I'm having to lie down at the moment is the cramping normal it's eased a lot but today I feel wiped out and dizzy ish? I'm 5-6 weeks Confused

Crumbelina · 23/03/2015 11:28

Crying, eat whatever you need to get through it, lovely - even if it's 3 packets a day! I worried about drinking too much Lucozade and all the sugar in it, but that soon went out the window.

I had some lovely pregnancy insomnia last night - wide awake from 4-6:45am. Shattered today and it makes the nausea worse.

BowiesJumper · 23/03/2015 11:34

I got my 3+ when I was 5+1 I think.

Mild cramps are normal ash don't worry. It's everything stretching and growing.

annatha · 23/03/2015 11:44

Best of luck Annbag, hopefully being in a different hospital environment will help and also excitement over hearing the the heartbeat, scans etc later on will fill it with positive memories.

I just rang the midwifes to arrange my booking, was nice to speak to my midwife from last time who sounded elated for us. Because of clinic being off over Easter she was struggling to get me in, so she's coming to open up on Easter Sunday just for me! She reckons I'm about 8 weeks but seeing as I've only had one visit from AF since stopping BFing it's anyone's guess. Really looking forward to the dating scan to get a better idea!

Mamama31 · 23/03/2015 11:58

Bumping I'm hoping to get a 3+ this time next week or maybe the wkend. It will be exactly 3 wks since conception this Thurs/Fri so might do the digi Sunday. But will do a cheap test this week just to see the pink line lol

Crumbelina, wow we could have been chatting, I had insomnia at those exact times last night!!! Since I found out on thurs I have only had one full nights sleep on Sat night when I was so exhausted. I've been eating a banana before bed as apparently that helps! It worked sat, but not last night :/

ashboo76 · 23/03/2015 12:00

Thank you bowies just wish the cramping would let up it's been everyday since wed and makes me worry and a knicker checker lol. And I think MS is a perfect excuse for biscuits Smile.

Opening Easter Sunday that's so lovely of them bet you can't wait! I booked mine for the 10th my docs do an 8 week booking in app.... Gosh this is all so new and exciting! GrinKeep soldiering everyone xxx

cryingbabymess · 23/03/2015 12:09

I've got my booking in when I'm 7 weeks exactly, is that ok? I see people going after 8 weeks! Only problem being I think I'll go then have to go see a different one at a different surgery as I've not moved surgeries since I moved house! Confused

cryingbabymess · 23/03/2015 12:10

Also I've just had my sandwich roll for my lunch that my OH made and it actually tasted like heaven today!

Dixiebell · 23/03/2015 12:11

I'm still not sure if my nausea is MS or something I ate. Yesterday I was 5 wks exactly and woke up 4am feeling sick. It eased a bit throughout day, and today is still there but low level. I never had any nausea with my last two. Anyone have views on MS related to gender? My first two are boys...
