Well, my scan date has finally come through, but for tuesday next week! The one day next week when I absolutely can not make it (have to be 100 miles away for a board meeting), and really 3 days notice is not enough to cancel my entire life when the board in question don't even know yet!!

So I phoned to rearrange, and the midwife who answered was pretty close to reducing me to tears because she originally said that because it's tagged onto a consultants appointment for me, there's pretty much no choice on appointment dates. I have to call back late afternoon to see if they can fit me in the tuesday afterwards (which still isn't great for me, but at least I should be able to juggle that one), but I will be 13+2 then so it's getting towards the end of the time they can do the NT measurement isn't it?

Really not happy. Particularly seeing all the lovely pics on here (and almost as much from hearing the disasters) the idea that my scan could have been in just a few days time would have been lovely! Good luck to everyone getting them at the moment, and massive sympathy to sebs.

ditzzy a 13+2 scan is still well within dates, they have till 14+1. That is still really frustrating, I'd ring back later and really push for another day next week if at all possible.

My scan went well this morning, got to see the heartbeat which was great. Got dated back to 8w (thought I was 8+6 today), so guess I'll just wait to see what the 12 week scan says. If I am only 8w my edd is 2 Oct but guessing you'll let me stay in this group

To be honest if the lady on the phone talks to me the way she did when I first made the request, then I'm going to transfer my case to a different hospital (the one 10 miles away that DP thinks is better anyway. I've been telling DP he's being silly, and we'd have to drive past the other one to get there, but maybe now I'm thinking he might have a point!) She did go and check something before coming back to say I could call back later, so maybe she was checking I'd still be within dates the week after....

So lovely to hear some good news on here today

10+3 and the last two days I've felt the worse I have during the pg I'm absolutely starving yet feel sick when I eat, very constipated - (TMI) the last time was a bout of diarrhoea yesterday morning...
Didn't go to work yesterday but they were calling me all day so went in this morning and had to come home at 12:30 (the hour commute didn't do wonders)
Sorry for the rant but DF really doesn't seem to understand that I can be this drained when I'm not showing... And obviously no one else knows

Ive just had a call from local midwife dept sonographer who was checking i have a scan booked in as she couldn't see an appt (i have but it but its booked at bigger Royal Shrews Hosp), i mentioned i will be around 12+6 and she was happy with that as they "can do downs screening until 13+6" ditzzy it looks as though it may be different between Trusts so def worth checking

Scan date now Monday 2nd March . Too long away to be classed as a perfect date, but I got the same lady on the phone and she was perfectly nice to me this time. I expect she's made someone else happy by bringing them forward a bit!

I've just added my scan date to the spreadsheet and see there's a little list of us getting scanned that day too - should be a whole pile of pics to compare by the evening.

Dittzy, I'm the second too but can't get to the spreadsheet, must be a good day!

I'm one on the 2nd! I've then got to go straight to Yorkshire so hoping all will be well.

That's great ditzzy :) Mine is on the 6th March :) I'll be 12+4 by my dates, no doubt I'll come out of it as 11+ something thoughas I always get moved back :(

Excellent! I knew there were a few names there, but I didn't realise there were that many! Fingers crossed it is a lucky day.

I'll be 13+1 according to the date from my 7 week scan, but wouldn't be too surprised to be put back the three days that the last one put me forward by!! Still safely in September though

OMG, pregnancy brain - just got back from the childminder, accidentally packed a pair of my own pants in his bag as spares!!! They must have been together on the fairer but argh, how embarrassing!

Ooooh, thanks for sharing Boodly! I feel so bloated and uncomfortable already that I've already worn a maternity jumper out a few times. It keeps away awkward questions I'm not ready to answer.

I'm the 6th too.

Another bad day. Just feeling so dizzy and nauseous and I have the weekend to look forward to where it's just me and 3 year old DD as DH is away for work.

My scan is also on the 2nd!! Busy day it seems.
Not really posting as after two late miscarriages I'm finding it hard to relax yet! But hi especially to all those in the Gloucestershire area!

Sorry you're feeling so rough chuch. I think it's difficult for people to quite grasp how ill pregnancy can make some people. I like to give DH a running, detailed commentary of my every symptom until he either a) feels sorry for me or b) decides that letting me just go to bed while he does everything is much preferable to having me lie on the sofa whinging!

Oh god Shinjuku, it was so embarrassing! At least they were clean!!!
