Arrgh! itches like crazy
I was getting all worried there as my bump is mega itchy and felt like it was on fire. Further investigation revealed that my new Primark nursing/maternity vest is lined with some godawful netting! Why?! It feels horrid and serves no purpose whatsoever!

Lauren82000 · 27/02/2015 19:17

Can you not cut it out Mswibbles? Or is it integral to the design?

skyra13 · 27/02/2015 19:22

I would cut it out if you are able to. My primark does not do maternity :(

Lucky you Squatting - DD is talking the piss. And after I did a story marathon for her in our bed too (mainly bc it afforded me the opp to lie down but still). DH has come home tired from work and it feels like neither of us has much left to give tonight if DD decides to be a beast and mess around instead of going to sleep. Seriously considering going to bed after we've eaten!

RL I would be cross about the leak and all the cupboard emptying and bathroom nonsense as well.

I'm feeling slightly smug sorry ladies. DD was asleep before I even got halfway through the story. I normally have to read 3 and sit in the chair till she drops off. Smile

MoominMama22 · 27/02/2015 20:18

Not fully caught up yet but its Odd that so many of you had bad nights last night as I also had the worst night in a long time, only eventually getting to sleep once DH got up, but then couldn't sleep in coz I have a friend up staying.

Extremely grumpy now and already in bed. I'm really scared of my extreme grumpiness I do not handle sleep deprivation well and im about to experience it on a whole new scale!!!!
Fear fear fear Sad

mswibble · 27/02/2015 20:23

Im going to have to take the scissors to it but rather annoyingly, and most unlike Primark, its very thoroughly stitched in! Hopefully the raw edges wont be too scratchy.
To be fair, the maternity stuff on offer is pitiful, especially when you consider the size of the Manchester store. not worth a special visit anyway.

Lauren82000 · 27/02/2015 20:51

I'm in bed too Moomin just got myself comfy and baby has decided to wake up and poke me. Wish they would turn I'm not liking this position at all Confused

kismac · 27/02/2015 23:21

Lovely to hear that you and baby are doing well, dances.

Just woken up from a 5 hour nap. Oops! Going to Baby First Aid class tomorrow, so rock and roll.

dancestomyowntune · 28/02/2015 07:29

Well, when we went in yesterday there was even more good news! tiger-Rose had been offered a bottle for the first time and taken fifteen mls of milk without a problem.

She has also had her caffeine stopped, so i am hoping this means we are getting closer to getting her home.

We are pretty much prepared at home now, room is decorated, crib is up, pram is ready... All we need is the baby to put in all these things!

londonlivvy · 28/02/2015 08:13

that's great news dances!

another shocking night's sleep here. oof. I seem to get incredibly hot and even with the heating off and both windows open, I'm horribly hot. hum. maybe I need to open the windows earlier (eg 7pm not 10pm).

on the positive side, DH gets back at midnight tonight after eight days away so he can entertain DD tomorrow morning.

Lauren82000 · 28/02/2015 09:11

Wow dances your little Tiger has come on leaps and bounds.

Has everyone moved over to the new thread yet?

Well my lie in lasted only half an hour. Despite DH taking DD downstairs she soon came up and demanded I sit on the chair in her room while she plays in there! She doesn't do this to DH on his lie in.
