in all i put on 2 stone when i was preg which ive lost, but im not gonna be happy till i loose 1 more sorry, im babbeling about shite aint i

u watching BB?? american idol starts tonight

NatalieJane · 19/01/2007 16:25

I haven't even been on the scales since I was 10 weeks pregnant!! I have no idea how much I have put on, I know I have lost some since I had him because I am back in my pre-pregnancy clothes but until my belly firms back up I've no real clue if it is just because it will squeeze into anything at the moment!!

I haven't over done it on the crisps and chocolate, well not since Christmas anyway!! And I am trying to only eat when I am hungry rather than because I am bored or whatever. I figure if I am hungry then my body needs it for the milk.

peachy has had a show!!! She's 36 weeks & I know it can happen two weeks before baby arrives but it sounds to me as things maybe on their way???!!!!!!!!

I had a show with DD, 5 mins later contractions & the rest they say is history!!!

peachygirl · 23/01/2007 13:13

Hi everyone,
cori you eagle eyed girl!!! I did have a show yesterday am and a tiny bit more around midnight
I'm not having any BHs really so I'm not sure that child birth is imminent but we got the last few essentials today. Including one very small carton of formula in case things go pear shaped with the feeding.I am, however, determind to give the breast feeding a go.
My pram was also delivered so that's very exciting and I did quite a lot of washing yesterday.

Coriander73 · 23/01/2007 15:45

Hey Peachy!! Gosh, how exciting...makes me feel rather broody I can tell you!!! Am sure feeding will be fine, it's great that you want to give it a go I washed everything both first & second time!! When's your actual dd?

peachygirl · 23/01/2007 22:09

due date is 19th feb, so still a way to go. I'm very aware of twinges. Off to see GP tomorrow so he might tell me if it is going to happen soon.
Don't get too excited.. knowing me I'll be really over due

wuzzlefraggle · 24/01/2007 10:19

oooo, exciting news!!! my thoughts are with you peachy!!

good luck with the feeding, i'll echo cori and i think its great that you are going to try it

peachygirl · 24/01/2007 18:55

Hi all,
Thought I will fill you in with what was an eventful afternoon for me.
I went to the GP. DH came too. I persuaded him on the bribe of hearing the baby's heartbeat. I'm glad I did too.
I mentioned to the GP about a concern I had about the size of the baby in relation to me and he had a good feel about. He thought that the baby could be breech and rang up the hospital and we were duly sent over there. Thank goodness it's quite close to our house.
I was scanned and the baby is indeed breech we saw the consultant who went through our options. I was a bit tearful, especially when she was explaining the risks (not surprising with my family and employment history) and I have been boooked in for an ECV next thursday and then we will take it from there regarding what to do next.
I will be doing some leaning over the birth ball and looking at the ecv postings on here. I could go to aquanatal tomorrow to see if that helps too.
I'll try what I can but at the end of the day getting baby out well and healthy is what is most important to me and if that means a c section then I'm OK with it.

NatalieJane · 25/01/2007 09:21

Peachy, sorry you are having a hard time, but as I am sure you have read, there is still plenty of time for the baby to turn yet. Good luck!!

Hope everyone else is well Come on Lota, we want details of your little angel!!

wuzzlefraggle · 25/01/2007 09:26

peachy - im so sorry to hear that things arent exactly going smoothly for you. nats right, theres still time for the baby to turn, and as you said, as long as they get the baby out safely, its all that matters, big (((hugs)))) to you

lucy5 · 30/01/2007 21:09

Just wanted to say hello to everyone, been having internet problems and not having time to post as Leo is a feeding machine. Anyway hope alls well with everyone. Good luck Peachy xxx Lucy

peachygirl · 31/01/2007 17:27

Hi another quick pop in saw the GP today and everything is fine wth baby - although still in breech position, she could tell just by looking at the strange shape of my bump, even the lady who waxea my legs could tell
Hope everype else is good , nice to see you lucy5,

wuzzlefraggle · 01/02/2007 13:14

wuzzlefraggle · 01/02/2007 13:14

how longs left peachy?

jabberwocky · 01/02/2007 13:20

Peachy, I had emergency section with ds1 b/c of undiagnosed breech and scheduled w/ ds2. So well done for getting this found out ahead of time! The scheduled section was a breeze. Try not to fret too much if that's wgat they decide to do.

Good luck
