Nat hold on love keep him in 28th nov my birthday perfect day for george to be born .

Wuzz she sounds like a angel my aidan never used to sleep at her age, well he did all day and then would be awake all nite , im 32 weeks now and counting.

Peachy glad you are in the pink club

wuzzlefraggle · 14/11/2006 15:04

nat - it wont be much longer now...it cant be!! i bet you cant wait. still going for the home birth?

cori, anna is doing well thanks. health visitor called in yesterday and the baby is now 8lb6. i cant believe that jack is 8 weeks already

laughalot, not long for you now either! its mad, it seems like just yesterday we were all trying on the positive threads.

ok, so when are all you ladies going to put up your decorations? im in the christmas spirit in a big way this year, but am trying to hold on untill the 12 days before thingy...if i can lol

NatalieJane · 14/11/2006 15:25

Lota, 32 weeks??? Bloody hell that crept up!!! And no offence but if this baby is still in me on the 28th, I may well be a complete and utter mad woman by then. I am trying to make light of the situation, but TBH, I am actually dreading going to 40 weeks, let alone OD.

Wuzz I am as excited about not being pregnant any more, as I am about meeting the baby now, I know everyone gets big and uncomfortable at this stage, but seriously, if you read any of my (many many many moany!!) threads, you will see what has been going on! Glad little Anna is getting on well

Decorations normally go up on the 1st of December in this house, but aside from the baby being here or not by then, we are having a real tree this year, so we won't put them up till probably a week and a half before Christmas, and if I have my way, they will be gone by the end of Boxing day

Oh and yep, the home birth is still on Everything is here now, the midwifes equipment, the gasses and drugs, the pool, the TENS, everything the baby and I will need, it is all sat in the dining room, ready to be brought into the living room when it starts.

Have been doing more lurking than posting on this thread recently but wanted to let you all know my 12week scan went really well and my pod was boucing around all over the place.

Scan was very positive and am feeling upbeat about the nuchal result, which I'll get on Monday.

Promise to post more soon. Supposed to be working so better look like it! [girn]

Have a fab weekend xx

MrsMcJnr · 17/11/2006 14:16

Juicy - I know I shouldn't be here but caught sight of your name so I thought I'd check up on you. Great scan results - I am so pleased for you hope Monday's results are as good

peachygirl · 18/11/2006 08:04

congratulations juicy, welcome to the other side!

NatalieJane · 18/11/2006 11:44

Congrats Juicy, there is no relief like it is there?!!

Well something is happening here, been having mild but regular contractions since 5 o'clock last night, I was feeling really sick and shaky with them but that wore off last night, and have been getting a bit of pressure in my back, all very different to the contractions I have been having for the past five weeks which were down to the irritable uterus.

Still not really sure if this is it or not, but I will keep you all updated as and when

Any news Natalie Jane??

NatalieJane · 20/11/2006 08:10

Nope Contractions had gone when I woke up yesterday, have had a handfull of strong contractions since, but they feel more like what they were last week so think they are just down to my uterus playing up again, I have a midwife appointment tomorrow, don't know if I should I should go ahead with a sweep or not.

Hope everyone else is doing OK?

OP posts:
Juicylucythe2nd · 20/11/2006 12:32

Natalie Jane - still no sign of the big push?

wuzzlefraggle · 20/11/2006 12:40

nat - im wishing the labour vibes on you. I bet your getting really frustrated now!!

NatalieJane · 20/11/2006 14:46

I lost the (TMI warning) biggest greenest jelliest piece of my show this morning, and have since been having mild contractions, maybe 2 every half an hour, but once again it isn't seeming to get any quicker/painfull/intense.

I think I am going to get the midwife to do the sweep, it can't do any harm!

One of my sisters have just rang, one that I don't always get on with very well, and she very kindly reminded me that she went 16 days over due with her second son... Even the thought of it gives me nightmares, I have already had 5 and a half weeks of strong contractions with hardly a break from them, I really don't fancy another 3 and a half!

Wuzz, how is Anna getting on?

OP posts:
wuzzlefraggle · 20/11/2006 15:26

nat - anna is getting on great. she was 8lb8 at the last weigh in, and the health visitor is coming tomorrow, so im curious as to what she will weigh now.

re having a sweep, the day after i had my sweep i was in the hospital go for it!

NatalieJane · 20/11/2006 15:30

Awww, she sounds like she is thriving - well done!! It is such hard work at the beginning, but so so so worth it

Did you get any of the 'baby blues'?

OP posts:
wuzzlefraggle · 20/11/2006 15:49

yeah, in fairness it is damn hard lol. as for the baby blues, yep, ive deff had that...crying for no reason, getting upset very easily. i still have the odd tearful moment now too, which annoys the living shit out of me, but there you go lol

how far gone are you now??

NatalieJane · 20/11/2006 18:58

LOL I will never forget, DS was about 4 or 5 days old, he had actually gone to sleep upstairs for the first time (and I will add the only time until he was about 2 and a half!!) we were sat down stairs watching The Royle Family and I was laughing my head off, the next minute I was laughing, but absolutely bawling my eyes out at the same time LOL And every day for a week, bang on 6 o'clock in the evening I started crying, didn't matter what I was doing, who was there, how I was actually feeling, I just couldn't stop myself from crying!!

It does get easier Wuzz, I can't say that the over emotional reaction to seeing things on telly (especially anything to do with kids being mistreated/hurt) ever goes, but you do get more control over your tears as the weeks go by

Hey ladies!!

Anywho gotta go, too much work not enough time!

Love, Hugs n Kisses to all who remember me!

NatalieJane · 21/11/2006 13:05

Blinkin' 'eck, hello stranger

It sounds like your new job has taken off well - well done! How's the house going? Have you settled in well?

I won't answer for everyone, especially Wuzz, I am sure she will want to tell you her news herself! But, as for me, I am due next Wednesday (not tomorow, next week) have just been for a midwife appointment everything is fine and ready to go, just waiting for him to make his move now really

Keep in touch, it would be nice to catch up properly xxx

Jenswish · 21/11/2006 14:43

House is going good. I now have a living room, a half tiled & grouted bathroom (although the tiling should have been done by a professional. lol) a painted hallway. A computer room and a bedroom.

so just need finish off the half done things then. Get a door for bedroom. carpet for hall. Curtains in the comp room. And do the kitchen!

:-)

Nat - I'm excited for you, can't wait to hear how it turns out, I want ALL the details. Weight, name, height EVERYTHING!!

NatalieJane · 21/11/2006 17:13

I am glad the house is getting there

Oh believe me, for all of the moaning and whinging I have done on MN over the past 8 months, especially in the last 6 weeks or so, and since I've not exactly been shy of detail so far, I don't think the birth announcement will spare any detail!!
