Spam yes I agree with the tit colour thing. I've noticed mine doing the same. Most unappealing Hmm

My appetite is just insatiable. I am a human dustbin.

ag123 · 18/01/2015 19:57

On my booking appointment letter it lists which clinic I need to go to and then says Consultant: Mrs Bloggs or whatever her name is. Do you think they've decided from my history on the referral form that I'm even going to have a consultant booking me in?

Dailylurker · 18/01/2015 20:00

Ooh allypin, whereabouts in Calderdale? I'm in cleckheaton so we could be close. I've heard good things about Calderdale hospital too.

pocopearl · 18/01/2015 20:02

eek! Im really nervous, had mc end of last year which I guess I didnt really do anything about (ie i didnt really cry, or get too sad) now Im pg I am so excited, more than I was last time. I feel guilty for being excited about this baby and not the one I lost. Now I am getting cramping, I cannot remember what it was like early on with DS1 and I know you get cramping around this time but I cannot remember how much. I didn't get anything with my mc I don't think. I have just blocked it out like it never happened. Sorry had to share, feeling a bit guilty for being happy.

sebsmummy1 · 18/01/2015 20:51

Urgh I have been feeling sick for about a week now. Im obviously pleased I have symptoms but wow it's hard work with a toddler mauling me constantly when I feel totally green. I do remember feeling nauseous last time from about 9 weeks, so it's hit me two weeks early this time. Is anyone trying ginger capsules? I'm contemplating taking them but i want to check with my acupuncturist first. Roll on 12 weeks.

Novia · 18/01/2015 20:59

Hola! May I join please? I got my BFP this morning. It's incredibly faint (husband not 100% convinced!) but a line is a line! I'm 36 and this is my second baby. Due on the 22nd September I think. Came off the pill last month and period was 3 days late, then v light so must have been implantation bleeding. Excited, but it doesn't seem real yet (until I get a darker line). Already trying to think of excuses for the numerous socials I have booked over the next couple of months as they will NEVER believe I'm not drinking without a reason...! Just got some mild cramping ATM, but no other symptoms yet. Hope everyone else is feeling okay!

Stoatystoat · 18/01/2015 21:00

My sickness just feels like hunger without wanting to eat so not severe really. My back is bothering me though.

pocopearl I have the guilt but for different reasons. I'm in shock as had resigned self to aaages of trying and it happened quickly. I am very happy but surprised. Feel lucky. Just got to try and enjoy it. Sorry about your MC and happy to have you here.

NatalieBee · 18/01/2015 21:11

Sebsmummy, my daily vitamins have ginger in them but I don't feel like their doing anything Hmm even my travel sickness bands don't seem to be kerbing it!

9 sleeps to my 2nd scan Grin cant wait to see the little fluttery heart beat again!

wafflesandpeas · 18/01/2015 21:27

I will have to think about phoning the Dr to sort out my booking appointment this week.
On another note, and poss TMI...... anyone got horrendous wind?? My DH had to leave the room earlier tonight!! Blush

Stoatystoat · 18/01/2015 21:34

I'll admit to the wind. More noise than smell though. Comedy.

wafflesandpeas · 18/01/2015 21:38

Soooo glad its not just me!!

Chuch21 · 18/01/2015 21:47

Hi ladies!

The cramping isn't easing off, I'm a bit worried but might be over reacting as this is my first... No bleeding at all, what do you think?

Boobs are sore but more irritable really, any recommendations on where to get bras from and which materials? No sickness yet (I feel silly but I just want every symptom to be 100%!) still 3 weeks and 3 veryyyy long days until my dating scan!

Hope everyone is well!

Stoatystoat · 18/01/2015 21:49

I'm as clueless chuch (love your name, it's a term of endearment between DH and I) but I'm getting cramps and I think normal

Treaclepie19 · 18/01/2015 21:58

I'm in the windy crew! Silent but deadly that's mine!

NatalieBee · 18/01/2015 22:04

Church and stoat I had cramps around 4 and 5 weeks :) and now I just have cramps from all the trapped wind Confused try and relax, waaaaay easier said than done Envy

Bollyroo · 18/01/2015 22:09

Another newbie here. Yikes!

So this is exciting. Boobs are suddenly massive and the rest of me is doing somersaults and only 5wks. Haven't told DH about BFP yet so trying to think of a sweet way of breaking the amazing news to him. v efficient with the baby making poor bloke. First try, bingo!

Mummyboo30 · 18/01/2015 22:09

Hi all, I had a horrible night last night, couldn't sleep lying down otherwise got a mouthful of bile. Envy (sicky not jealous!) ended up having to prop myself half upright.
What made it worse was we were staying at DH's cousin's house after a family do, with DD sharing our room. No space for suffering really.
Got my booking in tomorrow, and hoping the scan date isn't too far behind it...!

Chuch, some cramping is normal, especially a bit of ligament stretching, but if it is especially painful, or you are worried, call your Local EPU.
As for bras, I'm still just about getting by with my largest padded ones comfort-wise. When you do need to get others in future, I'd suggest cotton so you're not too sweaty when the summer hits.
Some people think going without underwires is best as your milk production glands are gearing themselves up, and wires can be more uncomfortable, but go with what you feel best in for now.

Wow that was a long post! Blush

Snowflake15 · 18/01/2015 22:14

Hi all! Got BFP today and still can't wuite believe it! This morning digi said 1-2 weeks since conception and this evening it says 2-3! But I think I'm 4 weeks preg and EDD should be end of Sept!

Symptoms so far - thirsty dry mouth pissing non stop and greasy hair!

Told fiancés DPs but haven't told mine yet - even though they will be over the moon I'm kind of apprehensive to tell them? It will be the first baby in the family.. I don't know why I feel this way! Anyone have any tips?

Chuch21 · 18/01/2015 22:24

Thanks mummyboo! My DH is great at calming me down but goes away for 2 weeks (to Canada, planned last year) end of the week! Will definitely look into the bra situation...

NatalieBee I'm estimating I'm roughly 5-6 weeks so hopefully it'll wear off soon then! I'll keep an eye on it (impossible not to really)

Sparkly123 · 18/01/2015 23:53

Hi everyone, sorry to say im going to have to leave the thread. Just back from hospital and have had a very early miscarriage they think. Trying to look positively that obviously I was pregnant and hope it will happen again soon. So it's back to the buses for me! But wishing you all the best of luck and health with your next nine months, I hope I won't be far behind you! Thanks to everyone for answering all my questions too xx

45Monty · 19/01/2015 01:56

Sparkly123 sorry to hear of your mc. All the best for you on your journey.

Maths88 · 19/01/2015 05:43

Sparkly I'm really sorry to hear that.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 19/01/2015 06:02

Sparkly, sorry about your news.
Slept pretty well but feel like I haven't - and I've just discovered my DH has been at my caffeine free coke despite there being some normal diet coke in the car Hmm
I knew I should have bought more than I did!

Stoatystoat · 19/01/2015 06:26

Morning. I slept badly took ages to drop off. My tummy feels tight, period like cramping and I feel anxious about it. I saw a lot of people in my dream last night including Cheryl Cole. She was very rude to me.

brickiemum2 · 19/01/2015 06:55

Sorry to hear that sparkly

I've had awful nightmares all night. I'm quite exhausted now Confused Having drank fake g&t' s all night last night (just tonic, ice and lime) I was SO windy last night I kept having to leave the room lol. Sounds funny but it was really sore pmsl. I got away with it though. Need to fake it again on Sat night with the same people. Wish I could see hb so I could tell people!
