Sorry to hear about the losses and problems Flowers

In comparison I've nothing much to complain about, feel a bit sicky but more annoying than anything else. I've definitely been much more tired. I keep drifting off if I sit down for a while.

Has anyone else had teeth/gum problems?

I heard that was a pg side effect but I hadn't heard of it before. My gums are very swollen, may be an infection but I'm trying to ride it out as I don't want to take antibiotics when pg unless I absolutely have to.

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 22/01/2015 08:52

Flowers to all of you having a hard time today Sad

Was coming on to moan about how sick and emotional I am but will shut up and send positive vibes to you all today xx

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 22/01/2015 08:59

Jackie worth popping in to see your dentist as I think that's v common and they can advise what to do.

In the mean time there is an alcohol free corsodyl available which I think they recommend for pregnancy

Tallalime · 22/01/2015 09:07

So sorry poco I hope the pain eases for you soon.

Have everything crossed for you tiny let us know how you go xx

I didn't know that about litter tray - i've been doing ours. DH isn't always here so no choice Sad

jackie you can still use corsodyl when pregnant.

Lovelybitofsquirrel · 22/01/2015 09:18

Talla if you have to do litter tray then wear gloves and be scrupulous about hand washing-I'm sure you are anyway!
Good luck with the interview!

ShootTheMoon · 22/01/2015 09:18

For some reason I can't edit the stats sheet - so please could someone update for me?

Mummyboo30 · 22/01/2015 09:23

Sorry to hear so many are having problems. I hope wveryone feels better soon, whichever way it goes. :( Flowers
Good luck at the doctors Talla

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 22/01/2015 09:40

Talla don't worry too much about it! Just do as squirrel suggested and avoid where you can. I've two cats and did a bit of digging into the toxoplasmosis issue last pregnancy paranoid about everything

If you've had your cat a long time or had previous cats you're more than likely totally safe, a cat can only have it once and there is only a short window of time in which it can pass on bugs via stools - only a couple of weeks iirc. You can also only have it once and would only have seen it as a light cold or nothing at all.

sauvblanc21 · 22/01/2015 09:40

So sorry to hear about losses you poor things :( Very sad news. Thinking of you all. Xx

sauvblanc21 · 22/01/2015 09:44

As first timer, can I ask a question about boob pain? I'm only 4.5 weeks so not many symptoms yet (have horrible cold but don't think I can blame the seed for that!). My boobs have started aching a bit this morning, not bad at all, but pain almost feels as if it's behind my boobs - almost like I've been winded ever so slightly. Has anyone else had this? Or is that just how boob pain feels? Thanks xxx

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 22/01/2015 09:44

Not sure where that random '!' Came from, should have been a full stop - wasn't judging the worry!

TinyPawz · 22/01/2015 10:45

Epu rang before we left for school run. Based on the information I gave they said it I was miscarrying. I have an appointment tomorrow to confirm but given the bleeding (clots tmi sorry) I suspect I'm out. This is all I needed. Complete crap month to be honest.

Good luck to the rest of you, hope you go on to have healthy happy babies. Look after yourselves and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy

whereswaldo · 22/01/2015 11:07

Thanks for the helpful replies to my last queston- I have another! I ve completed a self referral form (Chelsea and Westminster in London) and am seeing the GP on Wednesday- I thought they wouldn't be that interested but they insisted on seeing me.
Anyone know when a hospital will contact you after a self referral to organise bookings and scans. Is it usually just a week or so before hand or are they likely to organise it in advance?

NatalieBee · 22/01/2015 11:32

I'm so sorry to everyone who's experiencing losses today Sad sending lots of love Envy Thanks

booboobeedoo11 · 22/01/2015 11:37

Sauv21 I'm 5+5wks now but looking back at my dates I had a cold that I couldn't seem to shake from a few days after conception til about a week ago, could be coincidence though. Sore boobs have been my only constant symptom since I found out and extreme tiredness! Any time I've felt nauseous its been when I've been hungry and seems to start around 4 in the afternoon, not had it every day but yesterday was the worst I've had it.
All of a sudden got really hot and sweaty feeling and the watery mouth. Felt like I had to get out so I went a walk with the dog and the fresh air seemed to help, OH had the tea ready for me coming back and felt a lot better after getting some air and having my tea.

Tiny I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through Flowers

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 22/01/2015 11:43

Auch Tiny so sorry Flowers

ag123 · 22/01/2015 11:51

Sorry to hear about all those having a difficult time. Flowers to all of you.

I have just come back from my booking in appointment. Am going to be consultant-led all the way and have so many extra appointments. I have 3 in one week during week 16!!! To be honest though I almost feel better about it as at least someone will be watching closely what is going on this time and I had no illusions of a serene active-water-hypno birth that I did last time so no disappointment there.

The booking appointment is really nice for making everything seem that bit more real but also makes me feel a bit funny what with all the problems people have been having on here and what with my completely fluctuating symptoms (my boobs are hardly sore or big at all...I just get quite bad evening nausea). It seems strange to have all this in place but it could all be completely unnecessary or lost in a moment. Am trying to be sensible and listen to my sister though "There is no such thing as jinxing!!"

SpamAnderson · 22/01/2015 12:02

Right! On the way home after hospital. Baby is in the right place and after lots of manoeuvring she found his heart beat. I have a cyst on one of my ovaries so could be a source of pain, she could only get a rough fuzzy picture as I apparently have a wonky womb ha ha! She estimates from that that I'm 5-6 weeks rather than 6-7 weeks which is a bit odd as I had a proper test line at 10dpo and digi tests have given the weeks to coincide with my date so fingers crossed my dates get put forward again at 12 weeks :) so relieved that he's really there and has a little beating heart :D

DoctorDonnaNoble · 22/01/2015 12:08

Excellent spam

ditzzy · 22/01/2015 12:10

Fabulous news Spam Smile

And those dates aren't really so different, just call it 6 and be happy in the middle.
