hopefull2424 Welcome!! I'll put you on the stats - have you had a scan yet?

StoneBaby they have noticed and complained to me, (to which childishly I may have told them she is just jealous Blush ) I will tell them to say that and defo blame the operating system!

Number3cometome · 16/01/2015 13:10

Ok, can we do a quick roll call on the stats to make sure they are correct?
If anyone spots and anomalies please let me know and I will sort them (appreciate this is very sensitive as there may be some ladies who are sadly not with us on this thread now, so would appreciate a Private Message for any who need to be removed)

Well that didn't come out as planned!! Hope you can decipher!

broodylicious · 16/01/2015 13:24

number, my new edd is July 20. Thanks for doing this, can imagine it's a ball acheSmile

Number3cometome · 16/01/2015 13:29

Unfortunately I have OCD, fortunately I love Excel haha!

JoY007 · 16/01/2015 13:32

Fleur you are going to be a fantastic Mother! This is one of the very few qualities that nature blessed us with no matter what.

Do not let any one be the judge of that. I would ignore them and let them sip some kool aid for a while.

Some people just do not know how to be happy for others, it's always something. If they are good friends of yours and you value their friendship I will call them out on it, and be open about how their actions not them made you feel. Otherwise ignore.

want for your sister I totally recommend speaking to her do not ignore. Respond to her email. My DP was a bit like that with his siblings and it frustrated me that no one ever thought to correct him.

I was upfront and said he was jealous, to which he did not defend perhaps shocked that I was able to source it. Anyway since that conversation I have seen a big change in him, because I helped him confront his issues and deal with it.

We all have it, and need to make a conscious effort to manage it. Such is life. Good luck.

broodylicious · 16/01/2015 13:38

gottobe, how old is your dd? Our dd has slept through twice in 2yr 9m Confused

fleur, reckon there's other stuff going on there that your friend hasn't told you about yet. My sister went through a phase of unfollowing people on fb when they announced their pregnancies because she and her dick of a husband (soon to be ex) were separating due to her wanting more kids and him not (he had PND, she was fine so he said abso no more). I know I couldn't leave it after your friend's text because I'd want to know what was so upsetting for her and talk it out but I guess it may be less confrontational and sad if you leave her to divulge in her own time?

Naturegirl82 · 16/01/2015 13:42

number my stats are correct (I am assuming username, age and due date)

Gotto the sleeping through is a fairly recent occurrence. We finally moved her into her own room in November (she would have been 10 months), still waking once or twice to feed, I put blackout curtains up and from that night onwards, she self weaned and starting sleeping through! Absolutely nothing I did at all (apart from wield around a drill to put the curtain rail up!). I guess they just do it in their own time. I also realised that she could settle herself, whereas before I had been going in straight away, it took me a few minutes one night and by the time I was there she had gone back to sleep! I was constantly being giving advice by a friend who has a completely different parenting style to me about how to get her to sleep through, but I knew she would get there in the end.

Only 2 hours 20 minutes till home time! Can't wait for the weekend to arrive!

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 16/01/2015 13:43

broody she's 14 months so I guess we're not doing too badly!! She slept through for 3 nights in a row before Christmas and we thought we'd cracked it then she got hand, foot and mouth and it went downhill from there.

Fleur please try not to dwell on it. These people obviously have their own issues and it's no reflection at all on how you will be as a mother Thanks

Naturegirl82 · 16/01/2015 13:45

broody you must be knackered! Just think of it as good preparation for when this little bundle of non-sleeping joy arrives!

Mrsc020987 · 16/01/2015 13:51

Number 27, due date 26 July.

Some people are never going to be happy at others happiness. I lost my closest friends when I announced I was engaged a few years ago. My best friend at the time told my dh that he deserved better than me. She was deeply jealous that he used to buy me expensive gifts, when her bf never got her a thing and still lived with his parents. Hurt even more that she new how bad I had it from a previous relationship. Even after confronting her she wouldn't have it, refused to discuss my wedding and when I discovered I was pregnant with dd1 she was horrified. I cut her out after that, I have a large family a dh who loves me and 2 gorgeous babies and I don't need anyone else negativity trying to ruin it. Not worth it in my opinion. Wow. Rant over for me. I've just had homemade soup and the wind I am experiencing is horrifying, thank god dh is still at work!

twinky12 · 16/01/2015 13:59

Number3cometome · 16/01/2015 14:16

Pm me the name Want

jmojo · 16/01/2015 14:24

Twinky 1.7 is good it is quite low. Cute scan photo!

ohlordyplordy · 16/01/2015 14:29

Lovely pic twinkly, glad it went well x
Feeling sick with nerves, due to set off in about 30 mins.
How long does the scan take?

Number3cometome · 16/01/2015 14:32

ohlordyplordy good luck!

Mine took about 20 minutes. It felt like a lifetime before she showed me the baby on the screen. My friend said in reality it was about 15 seconds.

FX for you x

twinky12 · 16/01/2015 14:54

Thanks mojo the lady wouldn't say if that was high or low even after I asked.

lordy was in the for 3 hours, had to wait alot. Scan then wait, midwife then wait, bloods then wait, then doctor. I hope this afternoon doesn't take as long. And good luck they are lovely in the antenatal.

ohlordyplordy · 16/01/2015 14:56

Omg, 3 hours, I'm glad I asked!

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 16/01/2015 15:00

Mine usually take ages as they involve a first attempt, lots of wriggling around to try and get baby to move, running up and down the corridor, going for a walk then going back for a second attempt as every single time the baby has been hiding! Usually ends with me having to empty my bladder as I'm completely desperate at that point, and then they realise they can see more when my bladder is empty anyway. I have a tilted uterus so think that affects the view. Haven't had a straightforward one yet!

jmojo · 16/01/2015 15:02

Twinky If i remember correctly I think it should be under 3.5mm if possible, if it is over the risk of chromosomal abnormality goes up.

Number3cometome · 16/01/2015 15:20

Oh sorry, was like another hour for bloods and stuff too - sorry forgot that bit!

slightlyconfused85 · 16/01/2015 15:49
