Thanks Aretepetite

Hi Number3 I get that too, in fact I was having them as I read your post, its stopped now. Would be helpful to know what MW says. I keep telling myself that the body and human instinct is a super machine, you will know when something is wrong. Also a human being is growing in there bound to be some strange sensation going on Grin

My bump is definitely out proper Smile no doubting that I am pregnant. Belly button is in the process of popping out. I am now squatting to pick things up. The trips to the loo at night has reduced I go twice now, anyone the same? 16+5 today.

To those in limbo re hen dos and party argggh. I am missing out on a birthday party holiday to Vegas Sad and Angry. If you don't already feel pregnant this is the sign. That said never mind, plenty more hen dos and vegas to come Grin after baby.

You'd think being DC3 i'd be use to it!

7 years seems like a long time ago!

TouchPauseEngage · 23/01/2015 14:34

joy yep the nighttime peeing has reduced to 2 trips. Yay! I'm trying to get used to sleeping on my side but wake up on my back with awful back ache every morning. I'm off to womens Physio next week so hopefully will get some relief!

I'm a bit freaked out re belly button changes. My belly button is really really deep and Has little growths in it (I'm aware how hideous that sounds) I really don't want it popping out anywhere!

beakerandburette · 23/01/2015 14:55

DD is still in with us at 10months and won't be going into her own room til she is about 18months.

My bump was massive last time but my belly button just went flat rather than out-y! Shock

TouchPauseEngage · 23/01/2015 15:01

Flat I can cope with Grin

beakerandburette · 23/01/2015 15:10

Excuse the grossness but this was my bump at 38 weeks with DD, I went to 41 +1!

beakerandburette · 23/01/2015 15:12

You first timers have all that loveliness to look forward to Wink.

Aretepetite · 23/01/2015 15:19

Number I had/have stretch pains !? MW re-assured me that it was my uterus stretching. In terms of being more used to it as it is DC3, I felt the same. By all means I know what to expect in pg being through it before (3x) however each time was and is different and I think coupled with the big age gap it is almost like starting all over again, re-learning everything. I now worry about some things more and others less iyswim. x

Joy My nighttime loo trips have but increased Hmm I do drink loads though... :)

Yeah, I'm the same Mister the feeding is just so much easier when in with us, DH and I discussed turning the cot into a co-sleeper this time to cut out the cost of a bed nest. Will keep the crib downstairs for daytime naps.

Sophie I'm in agreement with boys names, ours at the moment are Harry & Freddie, though DH threw Cory in the mix Hmm Cerys and Ruby are on our names list but I am not feeling the girls names at all. Ho hum :)

Number3cometome · 23/01/2015 15:23

Well i've thrown caution to the wind and booked a sex scan at 18 weeks (14th Feb) for £39

Something to look forward to!

jmojo · 23/01/2015 15:27

I have to say I am a bit concerned re my belly button, mainly because I don't have a natural one. I was born with an umbilical hernia, which didn't resolve on its own, and was made worse by me catching whooping cough at 6 months old. I had surgery to invert it, so who knows what it is going to do when I get bigger!! Confused

WantToGoingTo · 23/01/2015 15:41

Megabump beaker!

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 23/01/2015 16:00

Ditto Number3 Smile.

StoneBaby · 23/01/2015 16:13

Number - great news on the scan.

Hi ladies!

I haven't been active on this thread as I felt I was behind dates wise and I was diagnosed as suffering from HG. Finally had my 12 week scan last week! Surprise of our lives... It's twins!! Wondering if anyone has any advice and tips for twin strollers and in general! DH has his heart set on the bugaboo donkey.

It's all so exciting but scary as a first timer for sure! :)

Lewaney3 · 23/01/2015 18:11

number3 can I ask where you booked your scan? That price sounds very reasonable! :)

Zampa · 23/01/2015 18:20

Congratulations Lewaney. I think that's our third set of twins. Are you excited?!

Lewaney3 · 23/01/2015 18:30

Thank you zampa:)
Yes very excited but at the same time there are added risks so just praying all goes well :)

We quickly realised everything materially and financially will double!

I don't think I'll ever forget the shock and happiness I felt after the sonagrapher wrapped up the first baby's ultrasound and then revealed "and now I have a surprise..." Cue mine and DHs confusion as we thought we were looking at the same baby till he said it's twins! sob

Number3cometome · 23/01/2015 18:43

Lewany - Baby Bond - select the Just Gender option (the full gender scan is £69)

WiIdfire · 23/01/2015 18:45

Congrats Lewaney - how exciting! There are two others here expecting twins so hopefully they'll pop along soon with words of wisdom.

Number3cometome · 23/01/2015 18:45

A couple of new bump pics, ignore my posterior scar it's from my spinal fusion operation. Hoping it won't stretch too much!!

Number3cometome · 23/01/2015 18:46

Lovely news lewaney!

Lewaney3 · 23/01/2015 18:50

Thank you number3 and wild :)

WantToGoingTo · 23/01/2015 19:04

Oh wow, congratulations lewaney!

misseskimo · 23/01/2015 19:55

Wow! Lovely news lewaney! :) I read your post outloud to my DH and his response was "I'm so glad we're not having twins, twins would scare the heck out of me" whereas my opinion is that at least if you only wanted two children it gets it over and done with in one pregnancy!! :)

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 23/01/2015 20:00

Congrats Lewany!

I think the £39 JustGender option is only for singleton pregnancies, I might be wrong but just check before booking if you were thinking about it Smile
