There was a big clot. Size of a small grape.
Still no pain.

LizziTea · 14/01/2015 08:10

Thinking of you, Pip, and keeping everything crossed for your scan.

Good luck Broody

gluenotsoup · 14/01/2015 09:33

Good luck today broody!

Pip - keep positive, no pain is a very good sign. I had bleeding of one description or another between 8.5 and 11 weeks, no pain, all fine. Thinking of you x

Well, after worrying yesterday about the flutters having gone, I was half asleep at about 3 am, and was trying to get comfortable. I had rolled sort of halfway onto my tummy, then felt a definite wriggle, and 3 noticeable taps ! It was lovely, almost as though lo was saying " hey! Roll over, I'm squashed! ". I did roll over then had quite strong braxton hicks, right around my back and stomach. No more sleeping on my front! Smile

Number3cometome · 14/01/2015 09:47

I've got my scan tomorrow, today is going to go so slow.

I've had pasta and garlic olives and a bowl of Crunchy Nut (have been up since 5am to be fair) I'm still hungry.

Mrsc020987 · 14/01/2015 10:00

Number your food always makes me smile, I'm still craving an m&s honey and mustard pasta salad! So far I've had a bowl of porridge, was sick! Just polished half a tub of celebrations and indulging in jezza while its nap time! Thinking of you pip.

ScaryMartian · 14/01/2015 10:02

Good luck broody and pip. x

smallgreenbanana · 14/01/2015 10:31

Fx for broody and pip!

I made the mistake of looking down at my fat knees this morning. I don't think they've ever been so chubby Sad

WantToGoingTo · 14/01/2015 10:34

Good luck broody!

Had mtg with director who was shocked! She said it is completely inappropriate, and in context could not be seen as not being said by an employer and that she will discuss with my manager and tell the woman in question that I was upset by her comments and that she shouldn't have said them especially as she should be ambassador or the organisation and that is not position of the organisation. She was v sorry that I had to witness it! So cue some awkward half apology and probably her being mean to me again. I am glad I spoke to the director though Smile feel much better getting it off my chest!

Good for you want

I really cannot be bothered with work!

Zampa · 14/01/2015 10:39

Good news want. Well done for standing up for yourself.

FX Pip.

Zampa · 14/01/2015 11:06

Is anyone else keeping a food diary? I got a bit concerned about putting on too much weight in my first trimester so have been keeping track since I went back to work. I'm not dieting (aiming at 2000-2100 calories a day).

Quite horrified about the calorie content of some foods and as I often need to snack to stop nausea, it's helping me choose better options.

Fleurchamp · 14/01/2015 11:21

No zampa but I might start. I have always had a really healthy diet but lately all I want is crisps!

A diary might help me see where I can cram in some more fruit and veg.

Number3cometome · 14/01/2015 11:27

Zampa I am a habitual dieter and know pretty much the calorie content of everything - unfortunately.

I cannot control myself at the moment, I feel I have to eat what I feel like eating which is pretty much all the time!

I am hoping as the nausea reduces I will revert back to a half sensible diet.

Good news want

Hope the horrible woman gets bollocked.

Mrsc020987 had some honey and salted cashews. Love love love!

Hello Ladies, think of you pip

want good on you, the lady was just been a B&*%h her comments were offensive and inappropriate. Glad you escalated. Some people just do not know how to communicate without upsetting others. Never let it get to you.

I am not calorie counting as before pregnancy I watched everything I ate. Not eating any more than usual, only in the morning before gym. In the past I can go without breakfast before my training, now I have either grapes or yoghurt to keep me going till proper breakfast.

I am back on coffee, 1 Costa a day, who else is drinking caffeine???

Excited today, took advantage of the Isabella Oliver sales to buy a few pieces, I just hope it fits and looks nice Smile

Wearing the appropriate clothes that flatter the growing bump I find helps with my mood. I have always been into my fashion and don't want to lose that aspect of my personality Grin

I think I felt movements couple of days ago but not feeling them anymore. Perhaps it was gas, feeling ok, but weird that there is no sign to let you know bubba is ok, now that symptoms are more less disappearing.

Fleurchamp · 14/01/2015 12:19

I feel the same joy I don't really have a bump, just a bit of podge, and no real symptoms.
I haven't felt flutters either.

I also took advantage of the Isabella Oliver sale and my sister's friend gave me a voucher for £20 which was just about to expire! She didn't want any money for it as she wouldn't be using it.
Can't wait to get the parcel as my clothes are getting quite snug.
