want I am so sorry you had such an appalling encounter. I would definitely keep a report.

I am so anxious about telling work Sad.

I think women can be worse than men in these situations.

Pipbin · 13/01/2015 19:40

Red bleeding, booked into EPU for tomorrow.

Naturegirl82 · 13/01/2015 19:49

Oh pip really hoping all is fine for you

jmojo · 13/01/2015 19:52

Sorry to hear that Pip good luck tomorrow, try to put your feet up tonight.

Thepurplegiraffe · 13/01/2015 19:53

Pip, really hope it's nothing hon. Will be thinking of you tomorrow Thanks

broodylicious · 13/01/2015 19:58

Oh pip. Keeping everything crossed and praying for you and your bean xxxx

fleur, you're right, women can be absolute bitches over children and babies. I've never excused it but I put it down to jealousy - jealous that the mum to be will get to hold a little bundle of gorgeousness soon. As I say, no excuse for it though.

Bustherb · 13/01/2015 19:59

Thinking of you pip xxxx

luckythirteen · 13/01/2015 20:02

Pip keeping my fingers crossed for you x

Pipbin · 13/01/2015 20:06

Hopefully it's nothing. It's only a little bit so far and no pain.

TTCMrsF · 13/01/2015 20:25

Good luck broody and pip fingers crossed for you both. Def rest up and relax as best you can tonight.

Want she sounds like a complete moomin, no wonder she's made you cry before and tearful today - glad you're going to stand up to her so she gets to feel reprimanded and awkward about her behaviour.

StoneBaby · 13/01/2015 20:35

pip fx

Well, tonight I took DS swimming once the lesson over we went back home where I discovered I left his swimming bag in the changing room so I had to go back there (thankfully it's only a 10mn drive). Then at bedtime, I realised I couldn't find his teddy in my handbag (it came with us at swimming) but thankfully, I got a twin in case of emergency (aka trip in the washing machine). I have looked everywhere at home, searched my car (twice) and emptied my bag, it's not there. Tomorrow I'll have to call the leisure centre hoping it is there and was handed in as a lost property. I proclame that baby brain is definately here!!

Oh pip Gx do try your best to relax tonight xx

WantToGoingTo · 13/01/2015 20:47

Have my fx for you pip

Thanks for all the support ladies. Hopefully imperils meeting will help. No point me saying anything to her herself as trying to argue with her is a completely pointless exercise. I have found in pay gettin superior support is the way forward as she is top of the organisation and doesn't listen to little old me! Bu hopefully will listen if someone more senior airs my opinions. My immediate manager (female) and all others incl in senior positions and incl males have all been supportive. It's just her!!

Ceejay14 · 13/01/2015 21:27

Pip - hope all goes ok tomorrow.

Raines100 · 13/01/2015 21:40

Pip I've got my fingers tightly crossed for you hon Flowers

Want this woman is completely unprofessional and way out of line. I had a manager make similar comments when I got married, and I was 10 years younger, and I just took it. Don't let anyone treat you this way.

I'm feeling relieved after a positive scan today. Was dated 12 weeks on the dot, due 28th, which is what I thought. Can't believe how clear the picture was. Not sure if the equipment is better or if I had a crap sonographer before, but we got to see feet and toes this time, whereas DS2 was just a wiggly head blob and body blob.

ScaryMartian · 13/01/2015 21:41

Will be thinking of you tomorrow pip Flowers

Sherbet38 · 13/01/2015 22:04

Hi all

Want that is a shocking attitude from a boss. Definitely worth a complaint.

Fx everything is ok Pip.

I'm considering the NCT classes, although they are expensive. I think with this being our first it'd be useful information and help me meet people... I live away from where I grew up & family, so will need to make a network of mummy friends Smile
We had ours Downs risk letter yesterday, low risk, 1:100,000 which is reassuring. I'd mentally prepared for going for the nifty/harmony test.

I've been picking up maternity clothes in the sale, managed to get work trousers, skirts, 3 dresses for under a tenner each. Also a lovely dress for a wedding we're (supposed to be) going to at the beginning July... Hmm

I keep googling buggies, im a bit obsessed, but mainly undecided Hmm I went to look at some with my mom, and thought they were all to big/expensive & unnecessary... 'you didn't need anything like that in my day' Smile My DH isn't keen to go buggy shopping yet, although I may drag him to at least one shop at the weekend Wink

14+3

misseskimo · 13/01/2015 22:23

Want can't believe how appallingly you've been treated! Definitely complain! It's none of anyone's business how old you are! That was one thing that annoyed me about our old surgery/Dr as he wouldn't refer us for fertility testing after almost 4yrs TTC as every time we asked he just said "oh but your so young right now, it will happen, and if it doesn't by the time your 30 then come back" needless to say, as soon as we moved we registered with a new surgery and asked for testing got it first time asking!

pip fx for you for tomorrow hoping its nothing to worry about Thanks

I finally heard back from NHS today about antenatal classes. They've offered me a 4wk hypno-antenatal course at 2.5hrs per session plus a 2hr early days course covering bf/feeding/sleeping etc. All for free. So I must admit, I'm swaying to not booking the nct classed now if I can save myself all that money!!

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 14/01/2015 07:31

Hope everything goes well today Pip.

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 14/01/2015 07:32

miss the NHS classes sound great, we don't have anything like that in our area!

Pipbin · 14/01/2015 07:33

Thank you Got.
More bleeding but no pain so there is some hope.

Fleurchamp · 14/01/2015 07:44

Fx pip I think no pain is a good sign x

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 14/01/2015 07:56

Pip my bleeding was bright red, the Dr said that no pain was definitely a good sign. They also said that the amount of blood, although it looked a lot to me, was fairly small compared to the size of the baby.

Will be thinking of you.

broodylicious · 14/01/2015 08:03

What time is your appt pip? Got my fingers and toes tightly crossed for you hun.
