JoY I am drinking caffeine. I have a cup of tea very day when I wake up. I used to have it when I got in from work before getting pg, now I have fruit tea instead or other non-caffeine. But still having 1 cup of prope brew a day as decaf tea tastes yuk!

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 14/01/2015 12:26

Joy I am also drinking caffeine. I have a cup every morning. It's within the recommended limits so not worrying about it at all.

Naturegirl82 · 14/01/2015 12:28

Decaff all the way here, but then I've drunk decaff for 2.5 years so it makes no difference to me.

I'm eating the same as normal sitting here with last night's left over pizza so not watching what I eat. I really worried about weight last pregnancy but not bothering this time. I've put on far less weight so far than I had at this point with dd1 (even though my bump is far bigger) and I'm more active (as I had a leg injury from a marathon in early pg with dd1) so I'm just going with the flow.

Glad she is going to be spoken to want and it isn't indicative of the attitude of your work place.

Number3cometome · 14/01/2015 12:47

I am still having 2-3 cups of tea per day which is pretty bad. I'm trying hard! Decaf makes me feel sick Sad

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 14/01/2015 12:54

Number3 that's still within the recommended limit so I wouldn't worry!

JoY007 · 14/01/2015 12:55

Super! That is fab to hear Smile

I did try decaff but it tastes yuck Sad

Naturegirl82 · 14/01/2015 13:10

It's funny as I think some of the taste aspect with decaff is psychological. I didn't like it to start with but I think that was more because I knew it didn't have caffeine in. I would say that you can't buy cheap decaff (supermarket own brand) though as they do taste naff.

broodylicious · 14/01/2015 13:24

So it turns out I'm actually, really, properly upduffed! GrinGrin Saw our wriggly baby this morning through very very wet eyes and all is well and looking like bits are in the right places and growing as they should. No chance of doing the nt measurements though as baby was way too wriggly and wouldn't get in the right position, even after a walk around for ten minutes. No issue though as I'll have the quad blood test with my mw when I see her at 16 weeks instead. New due date is 20 July. Cannot tell you how relieved I am!

13+2

Naturegirl82 · 14/01/2015 13:26

Congrats Broody so glad it went well for you Smile

Raines100 · 14/01/2015 13:27

Congrats Broody very pleased for you hon x

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 14/01/2015 13:37

Great news broody!

gluenotsoup · 14/01/2015 13:55

Lovely news, broody! It's such an unreal feeling, but one that you just can't match Smile

I'm still not back on coffee as I can't face it. No problem with chocolate though, and that's got caffeine too...

I'm not keeping a food diary either, but trying to return to my usual eating pattern rather than eating to make the sickness go away, or just because I fancy something. This is dc 3 so I am conscious that my body has already been pushed to its limits of stretchiness and don't want to push my luck too much with gaining unnecessary weight, I know it's trivial and vain but I don't want to end up un happy with myself later. Having said that, I have just had lunch with friends and had a huge piece of key lime cheese cake. Doesn't count though, right? Wink

Fleurchamp · 14/01/2015 13:58

Great news broody we are due date twins Smile

Thepurplegiraffe · 14/01/2015 14:00

Fantastic news Broody, you must be so relieved! Hopefully you can begin to enjoy the pregnancy now.

There seems to be lots of wriggly babies around, mine just kind of sat there. Still no hint of movement, I can't help feeling a wee bit anxious.

I didn't have any caffeine (except chocolate) to start with but now I am having 1 cup of tea a day. The rest is decaff and the smell of coffee still makes me want to hurl.

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 14/01/2015 14:05

DD seems to have chosen now (when I'm shattered and have morning sickness) to drop her second nap Sad. That's my she's never been a great napper but now seems to think half an hour a day is enough. There goes my lunch break!

WantToGoingTo · 14/01/2015 14:11

Woohoo broody! Grin let the fun of the next 6 months commence!

Number3cometome · 14/01/2015 14:12

broodylicious That's brilliant news! So so pleased for you x

Naturegirl82 · 14/01/2015 14:13

Gotto that's bad timing! How old is your DD?

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 14/01/2015 14:19

She's 14 months today. I've been expecting it for a while to be honest but have been hoping she'll keep going for a while longer, at least until the sickness has gone!

Naturegirl82 · 14/01/2015 14:25

She has kept it going for a while then, shame she couldn't have just let you get to the point where you are feeling well. DD1 is 1 next week and dropped her second nap in December, but she does still have at least an hour usually 2 hour nap so not all bad.

jmojo · 14/01/2015 14:25

Great news Broody, my little bean was the same all over the place. It did eventually settle for 3 seconds to get the measurement which was really small thank God as i am 38 so it was definitely on my mind! I had the blood test the same day and my combined risk was super low so big releif!!
I can't feel any movements, i got a sonicaid to hear the heart beat and i can hear the movements but can't feel anything! I am not worried as it is my first so don't expect anything until 20 wks or so.
I lost 7 lb with my ms and i am still 1.5 lb under my pre pregnancy weight at 14+ wks. I could only eat rubbish until last week when my body allowed salad back on the list.
I normally don't like chocolate that much but this week i have been craving nutella on toast!

Pipbin · 14/01/2015 14:32

I'm ducking out ladies.

Sadly the scan showed that the baby stopped growing at 9 weeks.

Number3cometome · 14/01/2015 14:37
