Good news BrixtonBunny, I seem to have crossed a few post with my last one!

I think exercise helps a lot JontyDoggle37, I'm still running but much slower and even if im knackered I force myself out as I feel better for it every time. Take yourself for a walk and get some fresh air. Try to set a task a day even if it seems small that always helps me feel more positive Xmas Smile

Great about the cot catsofa (can't help reading your name as 'cats of a' even since I realised its cat sofa!) and that your do will be living with you soon, who's movig to who?

All Yellow sucks kismac, was so frustrated before we knew what we were having but haven't bought a lot so far, in fact nothing only have a few bits my mum bought and one nappy!

Happy to introduce myself again, due 6th April with ds3, 34, also have dh and a dss, 2 dogs, 3 cats and a corn snake.

cinnamongreyhound · 23/12/2014 18:55

And in answer to your question BrixtonBunny, dh has two weeks paternity but has warned his boss he may need to take 2 weeks al straight after depending on what happens with baby. Shouldn't need to if things stay as they are as he should be home within 2 weeks.

EbwyIsUpTheDuff · 23/12/2014 19:10

" your [ex] friend tho Ebwy. She sounds a bit of a dickhead tbh, and an ill-informed dickhead at that!) "

yeah, that's a fair summary!

Misty
I have decided to get Chicco Next 2 me as it is the most spacious one.

I do not like how the NCT Bednest looks like and the rental of used one at 99 is not exactly cheapest.

I figure out I can sell the Chicco one after so net cost will be next than the Bednest rental.

Zahrah5 · 23/12/2014 19:15

Cost will be less

EbwyIsUpTheDuff · 23/12/2014 19:17

hellooo to all the new people!

this little girl will be wearing a lot of blue - I don't believe in colour-coding children anyway, I love blue, and it'd be daft to spend a fortune when I have most of her big brothers' clothing still here.

BonjourMinou · 23/12/2014 20:19

Hello and Happy Christmas to all the newbies! Xmas Grin
Hiding it was a single finger twix to start with, came out of a multipack. I don't have the self discipline to only eat half a chocolate bar!

Well done on the cot, catsofa, bargain Smile

Squatting I have a mommymoo bag, I got it at one of the baby shows when I was pregnant with DD. It has a babushka dolls print and I love it, plenty of pockets and comes with a matching changing mat Grin

Off for another twix, now... (might get it out of the double finger pack) probably shouldn't admit that I have 2 twix multipacks in my fridge

Lauren82000 · 23/12/2014 20:51

Nowt wrong with that! DH just sat and ate the last 2 jammie wagon wheels. Sad I had to make do with a cheapy kitkat. Oh but I just remembered there is a pack of Jaffa cakes in the cupboard. Hurrah!
Today was a reasonable food day for me:
Bacon roll from mcdonalds- (treated myself as I was about to do the big shop)
2biscuits
Cauliflower cheese for lunch
Half a tube of pringles
Tin of sausage and veg soup and warm crusty bread
Cheapy kitkat

Still looking for something to nibble on, not sure what though? I felt very sick at about 5.30, had to lie down for half an hour and promptly fell asleepBlush luckily it passed off but I have no idea where it came from.

I'm 30 with a DH and DD (3) at home, 2 african dwarf frogs and 1 neon tetra (he's the last one of 6) expecting DC#2 (a gender surprise) and I'm 22+6w.

cinnamongreyhound · 23/12/2014 21:08

Look what I found on the tree this evening? What a lovely dh I have, I mentioned a couple of days ago I wanted one.

Wineandchoccy · 23/12/2014 21:24

Welcome to all the newbies

What a lovely DH you have cinnamon and is that one of your boys handprints made into a decoration behind it, if it is what a great idea for next Christmas Grin

My parents and PIL dropped our presents off before, how come bump has more presents than me and DH have Xmas Grin it is spoilt before it has even arrived.

Bought a maternity swimming costume today from Mothercare as I am starting aquanatal 1st week in January, it was 1/2 price and looks and fits really nice.

Hidingthefear · 23/12/2014 21:28

BrixtonBunny good news on the ammount of leave he can take. Our plan was for DH to do 2 weeks paternity leave and then use annual leave a couple of months later and save a week for going to Spain towards the end of the year to see my mum again. He's hada couple of interviews for new jobs though so it could all change as he won't be entitled to any leave if he gets a new job.

cot looks lovely catsofa well done on carrying it. I couldn't move ours when it got delivered!

haha bonjour that makes sense then! I'm just devouring the rest of my Hagen Dazs Secret Sensations, mmm chocolate fondant flavour whilst watching the end of Toy Story 3. and i don't have any kids, this was DH's choice of film : )

cinnamon what a cute little bear

Yes WineAndChoccy, ds2 made it at school last year. It's very heavy hence why it's on the main stem of the tree so not the most ideal decoration, perhaps better if not made by a 6 year old!

Wineandchoccy · 23/12/2014 21:53

Thanks cinnamon I may be pinching that idea for the Grandparents presents next year.

BonjourMinou · 23/12/2014 21:56

Matching hook things to attach it to pram handles?!

I'm so jealous... that's all I want in a changing bag, I'm going to keep an eye out for mommymoo at the next baby show, I didn't think I needed a changing bag... but now I do! Xmas Envy

PenguinPoser · 23/12/2014 22:03

Hi everyone, I've been a long time lurker on here but feel as there's been a few more newbies that now is a good time to join in myself - or else I probably never will!

Age 27, currently 25+4 expecting DC1 on 3rd April.

It's all starting to get a bit real and scary now. Enjoying a week off work over Christmas then the count down to maternity leave will begin Xmas Smile hope everyone is getting on ok... I'm interested in the bednest discussion as I'm torn between that and a Moses basket at the moment!

BonjourMinou · 23/12/2014 22:04

Sad looks like momymoo won't be at the baby show in feb. I got my changing bag for £20 from them last time, they're normally worth about £70!

BonjourMinou · 23/12/2014 22:06

Ooh and hello to penguin!

Re the bednest, have thought about that... but decided to stick with the moses basket we already have to save money. The swaddle me really helped, though.

I may yet change my mind!

It's luurvely, Neville.

Mine was discontinued stock, it's Russian Dolls but a slightly different colour combo to this one, mine is purple dolls on a beige background and the changing mat is just a rectangle. Also no pram clips and a longer strap rather than the handles. It works beautifully, apart from the fact it could do with some pram clips... wonders if can just buy the pram clips...

BonjourMinou · 23/12/2014 22:17

Yes!! it would seem I can
