Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 18th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 35th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I had a very lingery cold at about 20 weeks... and I NEVER get colds! Think it seems so much worse cos there's nothing decent you can take for it when pregnant. Never realised how crappy unmedicated colds actually are!!

Back home and bouncing on ball. Don't think much is happening tbh. Trying not to get my hopes up!

RPopz · 01/01/2015 17:19

Haha, frugality... I need to do that one too!

Pisghetti · 01/01/2015 17:19

Aren't you officially on mat leave now Wil? Mine starts 7weeks today! Not that I'm counting....

Well after baby is here I plan to get back to running with a 10k in sept and half marathon in October, bake more cakes and finish the first module of my planned masters. This is all assuming I have a wonderful sleeper like DS was Smile

willywallace · 01/01/2015 17:42

Oh my God Pis! Easy on the pelvic floor there Grin . I haven't had the guts to get back into running after giving birth. Think mat leave officially starts on Monday but yes I should have said will be easier now I'm not working.

ZylaB · 01/01/2015 17:50

I plan to cook more from scratch instead of using any premade stuff.

And grow and look after this little one ofc!

That said, we are debating pizza tonight, haven't had it for ages and we're both knackered lol.

TheBooMonster · 01/01/2015 20:32

Hope you all had a good day nursing the men folks hangovers!

Spent the day at work going to start wearing a "yes I'm pregnant, yes I'm buggering off soon, don't touch me" vest over my uniform to save me repeating myself over and over No one knows what's going on with my maternity leave or holiday, admin think head office will hold my matb1 form hostage till I go on maternity leave, management field to inform my line manager about my disciplinary hearing on Saturday... Glad that place is so organised, remind me not to go back after maternity leave viroids! Hopefully all will be revealed by Sunday >.> to add insult to injury bloody taxi to get home cost me £20 because the buses aren't running today and the taxi's are on time and a half.

any news pops?!

Totally realised this morning that half of the unnecessary but entirely pretty baby stuff I ordered last night whilst being super sneaky and super stealthy is actually going to PiL's house... way to go AgentBoo...

laurenamium · 01/01/2015 20:49

£20 for a taxi boo Shock that's a fortune! Will your PIL give the parcels to your DP? You could maybe get in there first? Grin

TheBooMonster · 01/01/2015 21:00

It normally costs me £13 by taxi, I dropped someone off in the city and the taxi firm has started taking payments by droplet, I was trying to work out the cost based on the normal £13 but the driver said it was £20 based on mileage, I sent him £20 but I'm now quite unsure whether he actually meant £20 before the time and a half, I assume he'd have come to the door when he realised the mistake if that was the case though right?

They are unlikely to give them to DH, I think most if it should arrive Tuesday, so they'll likely bring them to me Wednesday when we take DD to tumble tots, but it's possible they'll mention the parcels to DH, though I can probably hide most of it amongst the existing baby stuff so all he has to see is the nappies or something which were only a few pound but entirely necessary for packing the hospital bag

laurenamium · 01/01/2015 21:07

Oh yes nappies are essential Grin the taxi man definitely would have said if you had underpaid so I wouldn't worry!

Next have their spring range out Grin which means I can officially start buying baby clothes now right?!

RPopz · 01/01/2015 22:06

That's crappy Boo - did you get paid extra to work today at least?

Nothing to report except more pant gunk!

RPopz · 01/01/2015 22:07

Luffs Next baby clothes Lauren Grin They don't have much unisex stuff though so have had to refrain til mini arrives!!

TheBooMonster · 01/01/2015 22:15

bua ha ha pops they managed to get out of that by contracting all staff for bank holidays, it's standard pay grumbles on angrily about loopholes

oooh lauren Next have new pretties?! pops they used to have some lovely unisex stuff, next time I've got the newborn stuff out I'll take some pics of the pretties...

willywallace · 01/01/2015 22:35

Next girls stuff is lovely but I think it's hard to get nice boys clothes anywhere.

Jeez Boo, remind me not to switch to a career in retail. These companies all make massive fortunes and treat their staff like shit it would seem.

TheBooMonster · 02/01/2015 00:12

But wil the teeny tiny shirts!! If we had a boy he'd live in tiny suits till he was old enough to tell me to fuck off no matter how painfully unpractical that would be

Pisghetti · 02/01/2015 06:45

I should have been up twenty minutes ago but I am 'snoozing' my alarm defiantly. Just wondering how difficult this will be in twelve months' time when it's my first day back after mat leave Shock

Right - must haul ass out of bed if I'm going to have time to shower and be a socially acceptable unsmelly colleague. In brighter news - it's Friday already! And DP is back soon Grin

OP posts:
willywallace · 02/01/2015 07:13

Don't torture yourself with that thought Pis. I actually don't know how people manage to work full time and be parents. They deserve gin medals.

Ha you'll have the smartest baby in town Boo. I just think the choices are much more limited for boys. Everything grey or blue.

Fuck me I wish this sore throat would piss off.

Leela5 · 02/01/2015 07:44

Morning viroids!

Bounce, popz, bounce!

I don't want to get up! I don't want to go to work! I'm tired and warm! Waaaaah!

Ny resolutions - sort house out, grow healthy baby, try not to get too fat whilst growing baby, pay off credit card before birth, sort my haphazard music library out.

Not very resolutiony but that's what I'm doing

We went to pub yesterday and played Cards Against Humanity with friends. Hilarious. Mr La was wasted by the time we got home so I went to bed in a sulk

I've just had a text to say only other person due in my office today is sick. Fucks sake. Obviously not sick and just skiving!

laurenamium · 02/01/2015 08:34

I agree girls shopping is much better than boys! But there's some nice little spring romper suits that I've seen on the next site and sleep suits, I just need to get paid...

willywallace · 02/01/2015 08:36

I should have bought cute clothes before all my money ran out. If we have a boy we'll be in trouble!

What is this cards against humanity La? Have heard of it on here but don't know what it is.

TheBooMonster · 02/01/2015 08:40

Right, so I got fed up about the differences in clothe sizes by store and have started making a spreadsheet because I'm obsessive.... Not sure if it's of any use to anyone, feel free to add any stores that I've missed.

laurenamium · 02/01/2015 08:44

I didn't realise there was such a big variation! Shock

TheBooMonster · 02/01/2015 08:49

It's mostly things like some pales have tiny baby and early baby and others just have the one, and not everyone has up to 1 months, which made separating out all of Alex's old stuff a pain, so int he end I started going by weight to separate everything.

Minion · 02/01/2015 09:31

Just skimmed over posts at the mo, but I will catch up, promise.
Be careful, if you have a tiddler like we did, even the newborn stuff Is generous! Eek.
Half the things people have bought her since is still too big.
Poor kid, looks like a borrower.
She's podging out tho.

TheBooMonster · 02/01/2015 09:35

min we bought loads of stuff for babies over 7lb but under 9lb, we were pretty screwed when DD turned out to be 4lb7! this time we have 'enough' teeny stuff and if bump doesn't need it we'll give it all to the NICU ward.

Pisghetti · 02/01/2015 09:55

Ah there's a thought Boo - my friend's first baby was born early (not a bad weight at about 5lbs but she needed to get a lot of prem stuff) and her second has just been born at term so she doesn't want to hang on to it any more - she's probably already thought of it but I'll suggest NICU/SCBU.
