Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 18th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 35th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Hehe indigo! It's the anniversary of when we first met tomorrow Smile - working in a bar together... classy! Grin We can't exactly remember when we "officially" got together so we've always just used that. He proposed on Christmas eve too Blush

TheBooMonster · 23/12/2014 16:48

Well it's in theory a good thing, dd had IUGR so The consultant had prepared us for the possibility of being induced early again, however bump seems to be right on track this time round. However I was all preped and ready for being induced at 37 weeks, I can't get my head round going into labour normally!

Leela5 · 23/12/2014 17:43

Hi viroids! Cat just bit me coz I was on the phone. Do anyone else's cats hate them being on the phone?

I'm worried coz I'm struggling to eat healthily due to feeling sick. Am I harming my baby? I'm eating lots of stodge, basically anything I can keep down :(

RPopz · 23/12/2014 17:54

My cat just hates me full stop. Luckily the dog makes up for it Smile

La - my midwife told me eating ANYTHING was better than eating nothing. She said just eating whatever you can stomach is fine, even if it is shite. Baby will leach what it needs from you - (and you've eaten healthily whilst ttc so you should have good stores Smile) Most women are in the same position for first few weeks. Make sure you take your folic acid - maybe get a preg multivitamin if you're worried. Try and eat plenty of dairy if you can as they take a lot of calcium in the first trim. You'll get your appetite back soon! x

DulcetMoans · 23/12/2014 18:05

My cat was doing that as I was reading la. She doesn't understand how hands can have another purpose that isn't rubbing her face really hard. She can get pretty aggressive about it! I just sung Whitney in her face though, that helped!

Took us 10 years to even get engaged indigo, don't worry! So long as you're happy, keep going. Houses and babies are stressful enough without a wedding.

Great scan news wil, hope you are feeling ok too!

I think I'm done shopping now! Well I will have to be cos I'm not going out there again. Wipes me out though, need a nap! Also lots of shouting at DH which probably wasn't all needed... Bad wife.

RPopz · 23/12/2014 19:26

I'm sure it was totally needed Dulce Wink

laurenamium · 23/12/2014 20:16

Hey viroids! La I ate cheese slices on warm bread for most of my first 14/15 weeks. Like others have said anything is better than nothing!

I've spent the day visiting family and exchanging presents, it's been lovely Smile

I've got a growth scan and I meet the consultant tomorrow! Nervous! Going to pop in the ward and visit my god daughter while we are there, it's not looking good to be home for Christmas Sad

cookielove · 23/12/2014 20:40

Congratulations min enjoy those new born snuggles they are the best!

Eli is fast asleep in my arms gonna try for the third time tonight to put him down but he is struggling tonight! Doesn't help the stupid neighbours woke him up again!

willywallace · 23/12/2014 21:11

Did someone not suggest some kind of wrap thing to put them in which makes it easier to put them in the cot or was that you Cookie? Have you tried heating the sheets with a hot water bottle before putting him down?

Good luck with scan and consultant Lauren. Is your god daughter improving any?

Mine was just a growth scan Popz. Was nice to see heart beating away and reassurance that the placenta is working etc.

TheBooMonster · 23/12/2014 21:24

la I existed entirely on liquids for a good few weeks, smooth soups were my friend until I finally got someone to give me something to help with the sickness!

Cymraes17 · 23/12/2014 21:31

Well done min! Welcome to the world Robyn. Make the most of the tinny ness, they grow so quickly. X

Minion · 24/12/2014 01:07

Arghhh she just won't latch. No tt, can suck a finger, just not a nip.
She keeps her tongue to the roof of her mouth.
Other than that... Wow

willywallace · 24/12/2014 04:58

Can you manage to push tongue down with your finger before latch? How are you feeling after CS?

For some reason my body refuses to sleep for more than 5 hours per night. Still, should be last day at work for me!! Smile Smile

JuniDD · 24/12/2014 05:24

We had this after DD was in nicu. Lots of skin to skin; she seemed to open wide when we did the neck grip thing. Good luck, you can do it!

Boo to poor sleeping wil. xx

Leela5 · 24/12/2014 07:21

Good luck min - is there anyone there who can help getting her to latch? And what the others with more experience said!

We are driving to Leeds today to family. I'm knackered as as usual I was awake 2-5am. Feel your pain wil! Have a lovely Christmas everyone in case I don't get back on here!

Xxx

laurenamium · 24/12/2014 08:26

Good luck min! Definitely don't be afraid to ask for lots of help, there's some lovely mw and some not so lovely ones. Search the nice ones out and insist its them that help Grin

I'm so nervous about today, I've got a little list of questions so I don't forget!

wil they thought she was going down hill again but she managed to spend the whole of last night with no oxygen so its looking good to be home for Christmas! Grin

willywallace · 24/12/2014 09:00

Have a lovely Christmas La!

That's great news Lauren, your friend must be so stressed. Right I have to go to the supermarket. Let's hope I come back alive. Maybe I can fake labour to get to the front of the queue. Hope it doesn't make me late for work.

JuniDD · 24/12/2014 09:04

Now I'm properly awake. I rang the bell about ten times the first night for help latching her from the midwives. I asked for help for the first four nights - so tired I couldn't remember anything!

lildottie · 24/12/2014 09:23

definitely push for the help min and bear with her, she will get it eventually. and make sure you get the help to get it right, not just latch any old how as that's what will make it not work for you. you're stuck there with a cs scar, you may as well make the most if the help! any news on when you'll be getting out?

DulcetMoans · 24/12/2014 09:37

I've heard that can be a common first hurdle min, I hope you get help from the MW. I'm sure once she's cracked it you'll be fine!

Don't they have Internet in the north la?! Come back and talk babies with us soon! Have a great one if you don't make it back and enjoy telling anyone you are planning to tell.

Good news about your goddaughter lauren. Hope she gets out tonight!

Good luck at the shops wil. MIL just told me she is going shortly as she forgot cabbage. Forget the cabbage I say, don't risk it!

I'm starting to get the worries back. Been fine for a while but think I'm scared of being found out tomorrow and then it still all going wrong. Roll on 2nd Jan to find out for sure - but don't want to wish holiday away!

RPopz · 24/12/2014 09:37

Poor little mite. Def make the most of the hospital staff while you're incarcerated like the others say! Hope you're feeling ok Smile

Have a good Christmas La! What a cruel time of year to have ms!! Hmm

TheBooMonster · 24/12/2014 10:25

Aww min sorry feeding is proving to be difficult, hope you can get plenty of help whilst you're at the hospital.

MiL said she'd pick us up 'late morning' but what kind of time actually is that? I've been awake with DD since six so it feel like lunch time already and I'm pretty sure CBeebies is already on repeat...

Bump apparently likes peppermint creams or is just high on sugar as every time I eat one she goes mental!

RPopz · 24/12/2014 10:48

I need to clean the house for tomorrow but I'm soooo tired Sad Went to bed at half 11 and woke up every hour til 6 I think! Ended up on the sofa from 4 to try not to disturb DH. Maybe I'll sleep better when the baby is here.... hahahahahahahahahahah Hmm

RPopz · 24/12/2014 10:48

Boo I'd say late morning was like... now Wink

DulcetMoans · 24/12/2014 10:51

Yeah, I'd say about 11 boo, get your coat on!
